- The clone test I did was very fast and very impressive. The ORICO can only be used with M.2 NVMe SSD for Read/Write and offline cloning. The RIITOP can support both M.2 NVMe and SATA SSDs for Read/Write.

Much better understanding than others!😊
Thaks so much for this great video on cloning nvme m.2 drives, it really helped me out
Great video mate! So underrated for only 800 subscribers! If more people found out about you, you would have so many more subscribers! So well detailed! Subed!
Glad you sub. I try to be as detailed as I can.
Hope you recover soon take care. Loved the vid.
Thank you
Got this same little dual M.2 NVME cloner the other day, and, used it this morning in off-line/pushbutton mode to clone a 256 GB Intel 600 SSD over to a 500 GB Samsung 960 EVO...; the clone only took about 8 minutes, I was impressed! (Naturally, had to fire up Rescuzilla's Gparted to shuffle the WIn10 recovery partition to the end of the drive, then simply extended the main WIndows partition to use the 240 GB or so of unallocated space)
That is great to hear
Nice warp core in the background. oh its your rig! xD. Might be a dumb question but what do we do if we need to copy 20 plus? do we just buy 20 units?is there no quad config or 8, 10 ports?
I'm sure you can find some professional unit with more. I am not a data collection or data recovery center so there's no need to even advertise something of such magnitude
be looking at this M.2 Docking Stations
😎👍🥤
Get well soon
Much better now thanks

With the cloning dock, did you have trouble cloning a PCIe3 to PCIe4 version NVME? if read / seen that that isn't supported? (although the ones you are using, a 960 EVO is v3 and the 980 PRO v4)
No that sould not be a issue at all
@@PlanetKryos well, we'll find out tomorrow what happens with a 970 Evo 500Gb and a 980 PRO 2TB, Amazon is delivering the ORICO tomorrow 😁
Awesome!
@@PlanetKryos the cloning process looks to have gone perfectly.. But Jezus, that thing gets HOT! 🔥🔥
@@PlanetKryos to confirm, a PICe3 to PCIe4 nvme clone is no problem, system is back up and running asif nothing has changed, apart from the extra 1,5TB of storage 😙👌
Nice p k
Did it clone also the hidden partitions with the recovery from HP, DELL etc ?
A clone will get all
If you are copying sector by sector, the amount of data does not affect the speed of cloning. After all, you are not copying data but sectors.
I assume that the target drive can Clone a d if larger can add additional data. True/False
The target drive needs to be the same size or larger. It clones sector by sector
can support heatsink?
I don't think so
