Some people closer to the ocean use sea water to top-up as well. And I saw a pool cover - stop evaporation by like 98%
hey! It is non potable water which means you can't drink it. Many Capetonians still have pools and get this water delivered from farm areas in South Africa that are not facing a water crisis. This non potable water could be delivered once a week and is used for flushing the toilet, washing clothes, cleaning the house... as well as filling pools:) Hope that answers your question:)

Please show the food section at the Woolworths supermarket in Cape Town. Most of the food stuff is organic and it's locally produced in South Africa from the finest ingredients. It's worth visiting.
Come to brisbane in the summer you will get a lot of these storms.

Please don't worry about uploading vlogs regularly! Your health is more important and a vlog once or twice a week is perfectly fine. Of course I enjoy watching as many vlogs as possible haha but honestly I prefer knowing you aren't stressed out and can enjoy some alone time with Raya and your friends ❤ hugs from Germany to you and my lovely Raya!

I really do hope south africa improves, I'm sure tourism will help in some way. I sound pretty naive for sure, but I do miss going there during my childhood. It is sad to see it change from what I used to know, even though I was definitely on the brighter side of things. Even when I went to cape town in april last year when the drought was happening then and now.

Bridget Camden-Smith thanks for that info. Good to know. I guess they are better than us then. In Australia we fill our pools with potable water. We have desalination plants everywhere. Capetown should build one.

at the moment its 16 July but it gets delayed often due to saving water, rain and desalination of ocean water.
