Louis if you ever have time while your in south Africa, you should take a quick plane ride to Angola and visit cities like lobito, benguela and luanda. Very underrated place and very beautiful architecture and people. Amazing food aswell

Louis! I'm going to be working in Khayelitsha hospital for 8 weeks after I complete medical school next month. Wondered what the general atmosphere / safety was like in other parts of the township? The hospital is well known for its alcohol related trauma. Any advice?
Hi. I'm a South African med-student and have had a few rotations in Khayalitsha District Hospital. Good, friendly doctors and staff. Burden of disease is a mix of lifetstyle diseases, infections and trauma, so I'm sure you'll learn quite a lot, Hospital is only 6 years old, so facilities quite good in comparison to other public health care facilities. SA is beautiful, and Cape Town particularly so. You'll have a great time. Just pls save water :)
