Many of filipino cheerdancer doesn't have formal training in gymnastics. They started dancing at a very young age. We have so many dance groups that have won international competitions like hiphop international. React along with eric the performance of upeeps 2016 and 2017 performance at hhi. Love the reaction and stay safe.
Thats completely wrong you cannot just join a team without prior knowledge about cheerleading tho auditions doest require skills coz you can learn it either way but all i can say that as a cheerleader i know everyone in cheerleading has proper/formal training even street teams they also have coaches to guide them😂
Dont get so into it as NU has a formal training. Who said UAAP cheerdance teams didnt have those formal training? They are different. Dont be so emotional and make it like a "poverty porn". No one cares!
In the university that I went to, I know for a fact that you have to be at least trained in jazz, ballet or gymnastics to be considered and you still have to audition as well.. and that was back in 2012, I don’t know if it’s still the same.

That video was from NU Pep squad during the 2019 UAAP Cheerdance competition. UAAP is composed of 8 PH universities and they have different sports and dance events every year.

filipino start dancing in kinder/elementary no dance class or training. xD we jst do it.coz there are activities in school that u have to dance with grades haha.so when u reach college its up to u if u gnna join cheerleading ^^ most of filipino dancers who won in competitions practice on their own without dance teacher

The UAAP cheer dance is really a big thing here...the pride and honor for these univ.. glad you did a reaction vid for this 💖 well they do looked like school of fish tho... how sync their routine is..if not perfect almost perfect... we missed it this year cuz of pandemic. Filipinos has lots of special skills , its trendy here in the Philippines everytime they compete almost all Filipinos watched it , those students are amazing , yeah thank you for complimenting i agree on you Filipinos are very supportive and we scream a lot while watching any competition its bec it can release stress 😀😀😀😀😍😍
The last props they used is what we call "SARIMANOK" it's one of Philippine Mythology
I didn't study in any UAAP college so i don't have any idea on how they practice this kind of choreography.. everytime i watch it on t.v, each group is amazing. Sana all nakapag ateneo or la salle noh.

Oh miss UAAP from basketball competetion to volleyball to cheerdancing their all so athletic. Universities really prepare for this competetion and these students practice allot.
It's every year inter collegiate cheering squad competition of universities in Philippines.
Filipinos are very confident when it comes to competitions 🤙👏❤️
In UAAP pepsquad competition you get judge for dance, techniques, stunts, acrobatics, props. There's also time limits and number of people around. And also different theme every early. It's really awesome to watch.

thank u for this reactions we really love it😊 a lot students from our school really knows how they really work hard to finish and polish different routines from each and everday when they start to practice till the end sometimes they got home really late some of them getting injuries but despite of that they really did their best to showcase to the UAAP CHEER DANCE BATTLES the outcome of their blood,sweat and tears💖 and as a fellow student from the university we really tried our best to support them till we ran out of breath😂😂 it's sad that we don't have cheer dance competition this year because of this pandemic hoping it'll end soon so that we can gather and watch new pep squad battles again❤🙏

Its a pride of every university. I remembered competing when i was in college its to hard. Imagine practicing and studies. And the trainor so much🙄 then the pressure during competition u cant even sleep or relax evry day to come the day of the competion. Then its so hard to accept evrytime we lost. But at the same time its so much fun. Absolutely fun😂?

Hi.its one of the Filipinos love.... cheerleading...its a competition along with the basketball....each member school has its own cheerleading squad and basketball team to cheer with... I love the crowd....u should check other schools performances.too....

Hi, just watched you guys first time. This event is what we called as "UAAP CHEERDANCE COMOETITION" done every year by various universities in Manila. Its been done for a very long time. We also have NCAA cheerdance also. All of the students from their own universities attend this event. And even with the families. Its a competition from diffeent universities.
