There are many Korean students in University of the East (dentistry for those who have had English courses), Far Eastern University (arts), Dela Salle University in Manila (arts), University of the Philippines. Ateneo University, Dala Salle (where most Koreans enrolled), San Beda College, University of Asia and the Pacific are the most expensive universities here in Manila.

I'm from UST and I will tell you that it is indeed beautiful inside. Many trees and parks where students can just hangout. I actually miss it. I graduated in 2013. The school is the oldest school in Asia It was established in 1611.The pics you saw don't even cover everything inside. Even though it is a Catholic school and we have Theology as part of our subject where we study teachings of God students were not forced to join the religion I have friends from different religions who also studied there.I can say the best memories with my friends are built inside the school.

@@eavenhascht Not true!! I have so many queer friends. My best friend is gay. Even some professors are gays too as long as you are decent no one is stopping you from being who you are even in a catholic school. I also have another gay friend who hosted every College week we had and performed dance routines in a drag outfit in front of all our professors and students in my course. I have a Lesbian friend who have gf, they both studied in UST and are still together now and are very open with their relationship. You don't get to say there is no freedom when you didn't experience being there. Idk where you got that info from but as a whole UST is not for straight students only.

If you want to study university in Philippines, consider that some schools are Catholic/Christians. But it does not mean you have to be in a religion to study here. Also, UST is the oldest schools in the Philippines and it is also a catholic/christian schools as most of people who handle the school is a priest/nun. Btw, Ateneo & UST is where our national hero studied 'Jose Rizal'. These top universities is where Philippine Celebrities are studying too. And Tuguegarao itself doesn't have too many tourist destinations aside from the usual Callao Caves and Our Lady of Piat. However, you can still explore the rest of Cagayan province and be in absolute awe of nature's beauty.

If you want to learn English in other country and experience different culture, Philippines is the best choice because it's cheap. Also, Philippines has different dialects and if you want to learn the different dialects of the Philippines you can learn that just meeting, be friends with filipinos and connect with them without spending money.
