Monument Creek Stabilization Project

How do you go up a creek without a paddle? You divert it, of course! We temporarily diverted a portion of Monument Creek to restore eroded sections of the channel and protect water and wastewater pipes in the area. Along the way, we added improvements, and we're making sure to replace the wetland greenery. 🌿 More exciting news - a new pedestrian underpass and access ramp at Mesa Road bridge will be ready in a few months for trail users!
