If the spread axel had a air lift you'd manage it
one of the most importent things my driver trainer taught me was always walk the full area before driving in and to always remember where ever you drive into you can back out of liking the videos
Martin you have a beautiful set up with Tiny and that spread axle. I really like that. And Alice High maintenance is definitely looking large. they all are looking large. Your truck looks awesome with all of the changes. I've been looking forward to seeing it. They did a great job with the tanks the wheels and the stacks it looks beautiful..
I had a Wabash 53ft spread with 2 air dumps and it worked sweet. Looking good Martin. Made right choice, this is work and money saved can make a big difference. I still think you should license fancy as an rv. And travel to truck shows etc. Continued safe travels.

I think the the problem highway courtesy is that they don’t know flashing lights on n off or the high beams flipping up and down there’s been plenty of times trying to courtesy and let a person out flickering my lights and they’re just looking like a deer in headlights,truck looks really nice really good content this week Martin

Snap on makes a cordless test light and the are good. The knock offs on Amazon are good too
Hi Martin! If the diesel heater is smoking that bad the burn chamber is sooted up. They are notorious for running too rich. If the controller has a high altitude setting, use that and run it on full blast for a good 10 minutes or so. A sustained temp of 180 C or higher with no smoke is a good sign. If it isn't too bad already you'll see fluffy carbon shoot out of the exhaust. Otherwise if it's too sooted up already, you might have trouble keeping it lit and will have to take it apart and clean the soot out. There's a good chance you'll rip the gasket when you pull the two halves apart. I keep a couple rebuild kits on hand in the vehicle for mine. They run around $20 online for the gasket, fuel screen, glow plug and socket for the glow plug.
It’s don’t that since brand new, it’s a cheap Chinese heater and clears up after a few seconds.
Martin, ya might consider ordering back up stock for most any Chinese knock-off.
For $69 a pop, it’s cheaper than a rebuild kit for a fancy merica model that’s still made in chiiiiiiiiiiiina

lol man I think you’re gonna be let down even more. They’re discounting the 3400 series engine aka c15/16/18 they still used in machinery for a 13 liter common rail off the wall new engine. Probably will be as good and reliable as the rest of the garbage out now.

The bumper on Alice’s truck? The factory chromed bumpers are heavy gauge steel that are actually thicker than the flat bumpers on hooded trucks, also reinforced and stronger.
@TruckingTogether I've been trying to find that with fog lights,toe hooks and the step to open and all I'm finding is what they call chrome plated which probably isn't any better than my painted one I have on there. Does big rig chome shop have them? Thanks for the help.

Great video! Are you going to put a dump valve on that front spread axle?
It has dump valves on both. If you mean a lift, eventually yes.
@@TruckingTogether ……. I was thinking just the dump valve without the lift. Maybe not enough weight comes off that axle being it is a 53 foot trailer. The one I pulled was only a 48 back in the day and with a load on I know that you could not dump the rear axle and pivot on the front. That was way too heavy, and I was thinking you could dump the front and pivot on the back. I remember once backing into a pit dock where all the doors were extremely close together. There wasn’t much room to maneuver straight, had to back in at a 45° angle. If I remember correctly, I had to dump the front axle to get the back of the trailer to line up between the two semis next to me and once the rear axle went over the hump going into the pit, then I had to dump that axle and air up the front to straighten out the truck. I had to use all my brain cells that day ..
