- Yay my first cosplay of 2019! This year's off to a better start than most in terms of actually starting and completing projects. I finally found the inspiration to start my Eeveelution costume series! I'm going to be bringing all of Dollightful's beautiful Eeveelution designs to life. I started with Glaceon because I had a good opportunity to shoot in some snow and because I loved the more Nordic/Eastern European design that Dollightful created for this pokemon.

Dollightfuls really cool, if you emails her, I bet she would be willing to do a collaboration or maybe a commission. Who doesn't wanna go around dressed like their doll.
I love her work so much! Maybe one day I'll reach out to her to do a collab. I would feel bad reaching out now because I can't really offer her much in return since I'm just starting out. But maybe one day senpai will notice me.

Omg yes, she's such a cutie! It's summer in Canada now, so I'm thinking of maybe doing Vaporeon next to get some beach time in!
Ahh the final costume is so pretty!! I'm also glad to see someone cosplaying one of Dollightful's characters, because it's been a dream cosplay of mine to do Nyx ^^' I look forward to seeing the rest of the eveelutions, if you do them :)

Haha I will! I actually have had the fabrics lying around for Leafeon for like 2 years now (lot of stuff exploded after this video so just haven't gotten time to get back to cosplay) but Sylveon is def high on the list because piiiiiink!

Dude I have to show this video to my mom because I’m trying to help her get back into making clothes! Once she sees this she will have an idea of how to make a beautiful dress! Also any tips for sewing and fabrics?
Amazing that's great to hear! I'll be cheering for her! Definitely check out Burda Style for patterns. They have really great ones and I find their fit is much easier. Start with something simple that is easy to fit, like an A-Line dress or the type of dress I made here that has a simple raglan sleeve and a rectangle skirt. For fabrics, start with cottons or cotton polyester mix that has a heavier weight so it doesn't slip away easily when you sew. If you're worried about fit, a knit fabric is also great because it stretches and is really forgiving with fit.... It is a bit harder to see since it stretches.

Hi! Thanks so much for the lovely comments! For the questions... My hair... As in my real hair? It's usually some form of pink and/or purple balayage. Depending on the time it fades so it's a range of colours ^^; For the pattern, I wanted something a little more intricate. The original pattern was very simple and works well on a small doll, but on a human looks super plain. The skirt portion was actually the same pattern as the doll (rectangle gathered up) but the bodice I wanted something a little more interesting.
