I'm one of those wierdos that goes out hard after early teal instead of goose hunting and I hunt by myself 90-95% of the time. I'd rather hunt with others, especially for the comradery and setup/pickup being far easier with some help, but it is peaceful and less stressful in a way. If I mess up and put myself in a bad spot or bad setup, it's just me. But if it's me and others relying on me knowing somewhat what I'm doing, it can weigh on ya when you're getting skunked.

Hunt by myself most of the time.Enjoy setting up my decoys and my blind before full light so i Ecan watch the sun rise and listen to the ducks talking to each other.Then start calling and let them cup in to my spread.Great vid.God Bless,your mate from down under Phil[chooka53]

Teal hunting in Texas is rough. 100+ degrees, high humidity and a lot of water moccasins.

Yea it’s Alabama, yea we have a early teal season it last for 16 days in September
I live in Tuscaloosa I’ve only seen about 10 teal our area
Yea it can be hit and miss here too, but it’s typically decent down here
What would you charge me to join you on a hunt. North Alabama is a struggle bus most years. I have yet to kill a teal. Keep up the great content brother!
I’m sorry to hear that, I’m sure the teal are there somewhere, it’s always hit and miss with teal, here today gone tomorrow. I wouldn’t charge you, to hunt with me, but I work a crazy work schedule, which is why you rarely see me hunting with friends. It’s extremely hard for me to plan hunts sometimes I don’t know until last minute if I’m gonna be off the next day or not. Which is why I don’t hunt with others very often or take people, I would hate for someone to drive here planning to hunt just to find out when they got here that I’ve got to work. So I’m sorry but I don’t take people hunting due to that.
First year into hunting solo done some river hunting in north ms where are you at I know south Alabama pretty good but lack networking on public spots

Yea, teal season is the only time I really hunt here, Alabama is not very good for duck hunting, the north part is decent I hear but I’ve never hunted it, I spend most of my time out of state
