Totally worth it . Diablo has always been an amazing game . Now I can play it on my phone . ❤ All I need .
The problem is that a lot of people, especially less educated or/and younger ones don't have a decent impulse control. I've seen them go from "yeah I just wanna relax I don't need PVP" to spending hundreds of dollars. It's a small enough percentage of people who do this, but you enable this behaviour by playing. If games like that would die out quickly because people wouldn't play, it would mean the whole android marketplace has to change towards the better. Right now, it's getting worse every year and people even defend this like "yeah, all android games are predatory, so what? I won't pay! I'm not that st*pid! Ok I might buy the packs on discount though". Even if you don't buy sh*t, you represent it's player base by just being active. In a predatory game that you maybe manage to play without falling for it's schemes. Throwing away your integrity and responsibilitity for a bit of fun? Yeah. Then you fit perfectly into Blizzards customer base right now...

I haven't played since about 3 months after release. It was really fun until i hit the soft cap. Where i noticed i couldn't progress unless i paid for crests. I figured they fix that eventually. Im gonna give it another shot.

What’s funny is I was waiting for D4 to come out so I started playing DI to keep me busy 1 year later and I’m still playing DI and got bored of D4 within weeks lol
It's definitely worth it because PVE is free, and for a game to relax and if you like to grinding it's beastly, especially since you also have access on your phone, and whoever says it's NOT worth it, I'm telling you a reality, Diablo is for expensive people

It's faster than ever to get into the game honestly, new characters will catch up in no time, of course if you want to see your name on the top spots in the leaderboards that aspect is pay to win, but you can enjoy everything the game has to offer without spending so don't be put off it's really fun to play and try out different classes and builds

PvP here got new term - Person versus Payer
The only problem in this game is there's way too many small servers. And those servers dies so fast, that there's no one to play with, unless you're at the highest level. There should only be just one server per region, so we can play with everybody on that region.

Can you promote a suggestion for a new mod? I hope we can get a new (bigger) mod like "Defense of Cyrangar" in the future. A higher level of cooperation of 16 players (4x4) to defend a hill or a pyramid from being attacked from all four sides. So that the progress of the demons is of different intensity, which would require some players to leave their positions and go to help the weaker ones. Ordinary soldiers (bots) would hold back the onslaught of demons instead of barricades...

Well it depend on how you also played it tho if you play pvp then yea sure but if it for pve then i think not really even tho it your money you can spend how you want too but i dont think the pve of the side of the game is purely p2w
It also if you look at otherames like dragon ball legend which btw depend on how many broken unit you have and how much charecter you own that can buff your team to beyond their limit which is yes also using alot of money to grind

I want to play a whirlwind barbarian is that build viable ? I used to play this on launch I even bought a new phone for it but my friends quit. I don't have much time now for a grind like Path of Exile or Diablo 4 so I just want to have an ARPG on the side where I can invest as little time as possible complete some checklist of requirements and call it a day.
as a free to play player i use alts accounts to farm more plat and farm leg gems more faster, its worth on any season to play
No one was saying you couldn't progress without paying. The PVP was pay to win.

Even for a free player who only plays PvE, is it okay to drop legendary items?
Because it may be easy to play PvE without spending anything, but is the grind really generous for free players? Because I remember videos that showed the huge difference in the drops of legendary items for those who invested money in the game and for a free player, and seeing that was really discouraging

I tried many MMO rpg and nothing compared to DI .. graphics content storyline mechanics everything is top except the reso pay to win thing .. i thought diablo 4 will be better but i wqs wrong i prefer immortal more for many reasons and thats my personal opinion

@@Anomalyy666 easy to progress and free you can do everything in game but if you are a clan leader or leaderboard grinder you need to spend money like any other game.. you can just pay 5$ a month for free cosmetics and xtra useful stuff

I came to see if the p2w aspects have chilled down a bit since max lvl 250 when i was last playing (former ladder top 1 wiz talking here yo) but it seems thats not the case. Class switch was still available back then. Can anyone tell me if f2p players have any way to grind high star gems now?

I am mobile enjoyer so diablo immortal surely the best game out there.
I'm really enjoying the achievement farming and hero's journey objectives. It's cool to hunt world bosses and do hidden lairs, zone events etc.
I'm buying battle pass and boon to amp up my progress a little bit and I love the cosmetics. I'm trying out new classes when I fully farmed the essences and maxed the mastery. I'm playing crusader now and it's the most fun class I've played yet. Best for open world farming imo.
F2p is definitely worth it. I spent zero money in the first 6 or 7 months iirc and it was still the same experience.

Actually, at the beginning people were saying you couldn't even die to monsters it was so unbelievably easy/braindead and never got harder or easier, it was pure autopilot.
Absolutely 👍 agree with u, i am playing since the game has launched. PVE is free, u don’t need to donate, but if u want to challenge with other players in Rift or PvP Arena u need to donate, like in other games

Apart from pvp, this is great game bro, players could teammates easily doing boss raid, pve is great and yeah for me this is the game where i mainly play, pvp is purely pay to win since they usually will one shot you A LOT if you just joined or just started pvp for a while which is frustrating
To be honest, f2p gems are much stronger in pve than 5* gems. I'm doing 2mil dmg on dummy(30sec) with only 1.7k res.
This is true. I have 4300 ish reso, but pve i run 3700 ish setup :)

A lot of content is balanced so you go up against people equally regardless of gear, not to mention I havnt spent a cent on the game and am max paragon level. The only content I get rolled in is battlegrounds, altho all the event pvp moves are scaled so everyone is equal. So the Pay to win outrage is definitely way over the top.
I’m a new player after liking d4 on gamepass…if a game is F2P I don’t mind paying some money here and there but I’m also 39 and I realize not everyone can spend money….i used to be a hardcore drug addict so it’s way better for me to game than be doing druga
Best thing for me as a low spender pve based player...is to see how i do outperform a lot of mid/high spender in challenge rifts(actually on 486 with my monk with only 2364 resonance and on raidbosses or gauntlet inferno 4...
with a bit of research and having a good concept, in pve money makes not that huge difference.

it's not entirely true that there is no season. Every new hell/inferno is kinda of a new season as you have to entirely reform all your stuff. This is the most annoying thing imo as you can never grind to have the perfect gears on your char and since it will be outdated by the next inferno there is almost no point to farm for perfect gears.
2:58 Lol that sounds awful to me, funny how perspectives can be so different. The whole point of an RPG in the first place is to make a character and for that to be your character. If you can change it at any time... that was the whole criticism of Diablo 3 on launch too, the "loadout" system making it feel more like an action game than an RPG. It's interesting how to you that's a selling feature, but to me that takes me from "maybe D:I got an unfair reception, I should try it out" to "nope, not even going to play one second of it".
Thinking bsout coming back. Tried in release. Lasted a week before had to buy stuff. So I quit. Just want to play PVE and be left alone. And not buy stuff unless I choose to.😊

Noone should support or play any kind of pay to win and live service games . That's why most mobile games are Gatha, casino apps that barely can be called as games

Playing on PC, didnt spend a cent, playing only PvE and enjoying it a lot. Currently at paragon level 1176, Demon Hunter.
I like this game but it drains battery so fast on mobile. Even more than Genshin
It performs really well on my iPad mini 6 and I can play it for 4-5 hours on mid settings maybe even more but I usually play on my PC so I don't know about issues on phones

You're not fooling anyone with this desperate attempt to touch the subject before the new year even started ,we all know that PVP is the last stage in this game ,its the main reason why you grind so much ,to showoff the skill ,to showoff the power ,20 years ago people used to play MMO's and after months of grinding they were able to have fun and challenge each other ,even in pve it was useful to have an experienced teammate . That's why people are so upset with these mobile games ,everyone just throws a VISA and dominate the scene ,they play 24/7 as well ,it has nothing to do with the frustration you keep blabbing about when a player dies ,when you see a whale killing 20 players in less than a minute you know there's no chance ,rewards are half a potato ,not even an entire potato to showcase the poor shiz you get for your time spent in there and many other things that doesn't make it worth playing ,I literally spent money on a new skin and stopped playing 1 week after ,it got so boring that for the first time in my life playing so many games on various platform I forgot I had it installed .

This game is only “P2W” if your focus is being top of the leader board, which is a tiny part of the game. You can play through the entire story for free, it’s only pvp that’s p2w

No game is not worth playing . Most of the players are 1000 paragon or above . And u when u start fresh and u hit that level to advance to kill Raid Boss u cant advance cuz none will help u .
Don't do pvp, if you want a good mobile pvp game just don't play it, if you wanna be able to pull your phone out and destroy swarms of demons with satisfying action whenever, then it's for you.
It runs like poop. I'm genuinely shocked by all the hiccups i'm getting and i can only surmise it's because it's a shitty mobile flash game or something lol. The way the game has to connect to a server is the likely culprit but yeah... just terrible.

My best in game friend never spent a cent on the game and he is one of the best on our server because he knows all the secrets. The community is really nice also we have raids, discord, daily raids and fun. Weekly rewards are free and the classes are really unique and fun

Anyway, this game is never ending (almost), and I feel like more and more ppl are beginning their journey in DI.
Im in a casual and nearly F2p clan with average reso around 1100 and we are having a blast. Being a dad and not having much time to play, I still enjoy this game becuz I can just log in and do w/e I want and catch up with lvls easily.
Ppl should not be scared of the P2W aspect that PvP is. Pve is so much fun and easy to get a good start.
With all this said, Ive found a crusader build which I dont think any1 have considered, and knowing you play crusader once in a while, I thought it might be something for you to try. 😊

You can do everything in the game without paying and enjoy it. Things change when it comes to PvP.
@Habonis If I do something with less ease than someone paying, then it's p2w. That is exactly the definition. A game where people paying have more chance of succeeding is P2W, whatever format (PVE/PVP).
People paying are rolling on PVE content, getting access to higher tiers of loot than I could. Hence they gear up faster. Hence they go in higher difficulty than I can. And so on and so forth.
This is what P2W is. I see that some people like that. To me they are participating to the cancer that is P2W games, and I have 0 respect for them.
That's not how it works in PvE. What are you winning for? How does other's progress affect your PvE progress? seems like a flawed definition. Winning involves a conflict somehow. And it's mostly for PVP without any balanced events where this is mostly fall down. You don't like being carried by whales? play solo, or with friends, that's where this shine. While it obviously sucks for leaderboards and if that's your goal then I'd completetly agree with you, basically the PvE its accessible for everyone no money involved asides from that. I've had my fun without spending a dime.
