Love the Chaos Undivided. Yes Skari, you Should roll a d4 and have a different general every time you're playing Daemons.
It would be cool for the General to always bring the elite unit like you did with the Flamers here.

How do the balance updates work? Like do you still use the rules from the previous balance update or do the new ones completely replace them?
Never played before, never looked into, don't even know the rules well, but these are the two armies I narrowed my choices down to so I'm trying to see how they play

So no, it's not. When roughly half of the list isn't matching, it's not "the meta".

Nurglings only have a 6+ invulnerable save now, that turn 1 charge should have killed 2 more bases (assuming no 6+ feel no pains)

You do battleshock test when a unit is BELOW half strength, not AT half strength.
So for a unit of 6 nurgling bases, 3 remaining is still AT half, not BELOW half. So they would have to lose 4/be reduce to 2, before they need to take the Battleshock test.

@@SkaredCast it's an understandable mistake. I've been playing nurgle demons since 3rd edition, this is the first time that nurglings have not had a 5+ invulnerable save. Not sure why they got nerfed

Deamonettes have devastating wounds I believe so some of those 6s would've been auto dmg I think. But I'm living this batrep you two are great together lol makes me really excited to finish my deamon army
How are you guys shooting at models that are in engagement range?
edit: I see monsters and vehicles are shootable even if in engagement range
see the edit. you can also shoot into your own close combat with (pistol) weapons, but only into the unit you are in combat with.

Nope since when they die the Daemon just poofs back into the warp leaving nothing
Hive Fleet Kronos, the anti Chaos force, have to bed fed extra biomass from other tyranids to keep them going during their wars
It's a bit of a wibblywobbly. We do have daemon skulls here and there, for example...
So unless they are fake, then daemons have more anatomically physical presence in realspace.
How much of it is classifiable as biomass is a whole another question, or even if it was, does the mass stay in realspace after enough of whatever it was, that tethered the daemon into realspace to begin with, gets severed.
Aaaand when that happens, does the warpbound mass just vanish from whatever tyranid beasts flank if it was possible to re-purpose it while the tether held the remnants in realspace...
What's with all the 1500 point battle reports lately?
Why is every battle report with Unending Swarm like 60-70% monsters, for which the detachment rules and the stratagems does absolutely zilch? You're meant to have like 180 gribblies in this detachment, it's just weird to see the do-nothing monsters stumble around here.
If I buy the studio a dice tray, will you write my Username on the inside?

Meta Daemons vs "this seems neat" nids produces obvious outcome lmao. Carnifexes blistering assault after losing wounds and move D6+2 inches, the one at 19:40 cant do it. Carnifex didn't have Extra Scything talons? that's extra attacks. Zoanthropes don't Hazardous.
Tyranidos are kawaii
KoS is only -1 to hit in shooting - not melee
It’s mesmerizing form makes it -1 to hit by all attacks.
Stealth would be only -1 at range.
skari cheated when the demonetts attacked he kept 2 2s in there when they were wounding on 3s
At 38;36 he also picked up a 3 when only 4s hit.. and a couple more times. First time ever ive seen him picking up too many dice consistently. Maybe fatigue?
