So in this video I show one of the possible issues with a tailgate that will not open on a 2015 GMC Sierra.
Its a quick and simple process to get the tailgate open, then all that's left is to verify the root cause of the malfunction and fix or replace the defective parts.

Take a little time and lube the whole mechanism maybe once a year and you would probably never have a problem out of it.
Looks like you've done that a few times before:) Good luck on the mobile repair, it certainly makes for a better quality video without the background noise from the shop.
