    Leg 1: Breckenridge Airport, California to Inyokern, California (KIYK)
    Bush Trip Playlist - • MSFS Bush Trip - Nevada
    ------
    Trip Description:
    From abandoned goldfields on California's western foothills to the cracked desert plains of Black Rock City, from the glistening shores of lake Tahoe to the sprawling cliffs of Yosemite Valley, this epic journey into the majestic Sierra Nevada has no shortage of breathtaking scenery to discover, from a perspective few pilots ever get to experience.
    You'll be flying a Zlin Savage Cub. With a cruising speed of 90 knots (166 km/h), this is the perfect plane for exploring the stunning sights and natural wonders of North America's west coast.

    14:26 From what i understand is that the yellow section on the airspeed just means that the aircraft isn't designed to take the stress of hard maneuvers while in the green you can make full maneuvers without damage. If it makes sense. Love this game :) Only got 19 hours on it so far.

      @UCHBYteMsLA0wgFPVk_xuktA yeah, those bushtrips are amazing!! After this one I will continue flying their latest bushtrip in the France alps which just released.
      Enjoy your IFR flight training!! Eventually I will start with those once PMDG launches their 737. Can’t wait for that one.
      Have a good one😉

      I’m waiting for that one as well. I bought the CRJ 700 from Aerosoft for the time being. It’s a really good plane.

    1st time I got lost and restarted. 2nd time I got lost and used the Back On Track button to find the airport. Finally landed, exited the runway, slowed to almost a crawl, hit the brakes and the plane nose dived into the ground which was considered a crash so another fail. 3rd time I found the airport, landed and rolled almost to a stop. Speed was down to 3 knots so hit the brakes and the tail came off te ground again but I was able to release the brake before I nose planted again. Love the idea of these Bush Trips. Now if I can only figure out how to apply brakes on the Cub without flipping.

      I feel your pain! I can't tell you how many times I've crashed by applying too much brake pressure. It's tricky for sure!

      Hi bushpilot,
      What I alwas do with taildraggers, after touchdown, pull back on the yoke and simultaneously apply brake pressure. This will help you keeping the nose skywards.
      Happy flying! 😉👍🏼

      The tailwheel airplane is known to be dangerous with a tailwind right?

    This was very helpful for me getting started. Unfortunately I somehow managed to flip my plane forward on the landing during deceleration.

      @@TennshadowGaming I went back and did it last night. I learned you have to pull back on the throttle when you brake. I'm loving it since I haven't played a flight sim since MS Flight Sim 3 or 4 for DOS.

  • @Dellerss
    @Dellerss Před 3 lety +2

    All was going well for me until after the landing. I then used the brakes, which caused the plane to suddenly tip forwards and crash before I could even react. I guess I should have tried this plane beforehand...

      @@TennshadowGaming I had a laugh at my own stupidity. It just didn't occur to me that crashing like that was even a possibility. I guess it was today's penalty for getting a top one on one of the challenges earlier. Will try again tonight so that I can continue to leg 2 🙂

    I am finding these bush trips are full of bugs... Why is my Nav log different from yours... Mine says continue to follow the shore of Lake Isabella to the east blah blah blah. Whereas yours directs you to follow a straight forward route south-east towards the highway?? I'm totally lost after Lake Isabella. Microsoft hits again LOL! Also I noticed on the latest bush trip you run out of fuel after leg five!

    • @TennshadowGaming
      @TennshadowGaming  Před 3 lety

      Thanks for watching. I'm not sure why our nav logs would be different. Maybe because when I did this was early on before several MSFS updates.

    I have watched a lot of these videos. does not seem like too many simmers use standard traffic patterns. Mostly fly straight in. Not criticism just an observation.

    • @TennshadowGaming
      @TennshadowGaming  Před 3 lety +1

      I would guess that a majority of us are not real world pilots and lack the proper training. My sim history is a majority in Boeing aircraft using CZcams as my instructor. I appreciate your comment because I want to learn proper flying techniques and will look into traffic pattern when approaching VFR .

      No auto pilot in that one. Trim is key to flying that. I had tons of issues getting it trimmed for straight and level flight.
