"The Ranger's look will never go out of style", I agree as it still looks better than those modern trucks with the big gaping grille's!

Mine is a 2001. Standard cab. Rarer still. Original Paint. Cardinal red, just ceramic coated this weekend. 117k miles. K&N, 5 spd Hurst Shifter. Bilstein Shocks, New headlight fixtures with Led Lights. New Black Core racing Rims, Red Lug nuts…Michelin Defender Tires.
Interior, is nearly perfect. Black and red trim seat covers. Black hood bra.
Only thing left to do, is KUPP Clutch install, and new drive shaft assembly.
    New brakes all 4.
    Canopy matches body.
Got Tom Petty ? Rear Sticker.
Love this thing, Call Her “Little Red” with side graphics.
Wouldn’t trade it in for anything. Too much damned Fun.
Looks almost new, and run her on all synthetic oils and lubes.
    Worth the care.
    Find one, get one.

11:00 THIS SAVED MY RANGER FROM BEING STOLEN!!! I walk out to go to work at 3 50a.m. and I see my dome light on. my passinger door was broken into thro the window with a lock pick. the ignition where you put the key was all destroyed from being Fd with. but I still had my truck! Im so appreciatve of this feature and why I really like Ford. Was back on the road in less than a week.

Tengo actualmente un camión Ford F400 de 1989 al cual lo uso de trabajo, con su muy noble motor Perkins 6 305 pf y gran camion.. Gracias Ford.. Saludos al Tio Sam, desde Argentina..

I've had my 2001 Ford Ranger Edge 4x4 since 2003 with its 4.0 L engine bringing it to 395,000+ miles so far. It's seen its days thru Northern winters, yet has been a trusting and dependable companion all these years. Have changed one starter and one alternator in its time, otherwise it runs like a champ. Unfortunately, its hit three dear in its time and cosmetically, the old boy has lost its beauty... kind of like its owner :-). Hoping to find myself another one this new year. From a Vietnam Era Marine Corps veteran.

As the owner of an '04 XLT FX-4, I can attest to the fact that my varied and important needs are all met, and that I wake up everyday feeling satisfied, free-spirited, and adventurous.

Our 11 Ranger is our 4th Ranger.
Our current one is a XLT super cab 4x4 with the 209hp 4.0 V6 and auto transmission.
It’s an awesome truck that does everything we need it to do.
It’s mainly used for work around our property.
It will soon be 12 years old and only has 35K miles.
    It looks showroom new.
I did add a K&N intake and a FlowMaster exhaust, (my mpg increased from 19mpg to 25mpg at 75mph with the cruise set.
I had it 2 toned with silver (factory paint) over red metallic, custom wheels, LineX bed liner, running boards, skid plates, air shocks (to haul heavy loads), LSD, tow pkg, custom upholstery to match the exterior 2 tone paint, etc.
2 separate people have offered me $25K and another one offered $28K.
I couldn’t replace it for that price.
This is our 4th Ranger and we know how durable they are.

"Ranger will never go out of style"
Factual. Would love a 98-11 4cyl 5 speed super cab xlt. Almost bought a new 2003 when i got my first full time job. Min wage was 5.15/hr and i made 8.50/hr and could afford a new year end xl 2.3L single cab. $12,000 or so was price with promotions. Also my entry level factory job was 65% higher than min wage. That's like 24/hr today and you can't buy a new truck on 24/hr, on that pay you can barely live on that with old car and thrifty living

But they can't due to EpA regulations, the government has made it impossible to achieve theemission levels. The emissions are much less stringent as you go up in vehicle sizes

Because to them, anything that isnt 7ft in the air and lifted on at least a 8" lift isnt a truck. Id buy an old ranger over any truck besides a toyota tacoma or tundra. But rangers are lower cost to replace parts, so I favor them. Hands down one of the best vehicles ford made. ❤💪
