I see that you have various colors for the Surf Heads (pink, oranghe, green). Do the colors matter on the conitions? I know that the sand crabs have the bright orange roe(eggs) under their bottoms during spring~summer. Please advise. Thanks for the help! Love all your vids, very very helpful and enjoyable to watch 🤙
Yes, glad you asked!! I tend to lean towards the "Pink Sandcrab" pattern because it's my favorite but I'll switch it up in a heartbeat if I feel it'll make a difference. Sometimes the water clarity plays a huge roll and so does the time of year I've come to find. These heads come in 4 colors and I've caught fish on them all. It's really your preference and confidence in colors. Pink & Orange are staples fishing the surf here in CA. Appreciate the kind words and glad you're enjoying the vids. I wish my editing skills were on point like my fishing but every video is a work in progress. I'm not sure how the quality of picture works but I am trying. Some vids clarity are better but I am trying my best to provide just enough to see and hear what I'm doing out there lol. Hopefully in time they'll come out better.
Yes, totally! I'll be making a vid showing just that. For now, I can just tell you. What makes what I'm doing out there so unique isn't really what's on the end of my hook. Rather, how unique the hook I'm using is. I'm whipping out "Surf Heads" by Top Notch Leadheads. These special jigheads are everything. They come in a 1/4oz and 3/8oz with 3 color options to choose from. Plus, these heads are built off Owner Hooks to guarantee a superior/quality product. Just match these heads with any common 2-3" plastic bait like Gulp, Zman, or even trout plastics such as minnows, slugs, and mini-swims. I'm using a 2-6# 8' Trout Series rod by Fishing Syndicate matched with a Stradic 1000 loaded with 6# braid and a 2' 6# topshot of fluorocarbon. You can find these unique heads on TOPNOTCHLEADHEADS.COM Hope that helps bud. Good luck out there and STICKUM🤘
@@jesusgaona5189 I use the 1/8oz only when I plan on fishing the ultra skinny water. Know that the beach isn't deep at all. It'll take a second to hit bottom. It's the current that you need to gauge to determine the weight needed.
Heck yes it is! That's what I'm searching for every outing. Watch the "This Is Corbina Fishing" vid. I've caught over 20 corbs all on my jigs so far for the season. I haven't touched a live Sandcrab for croaker in years now 😊. It's the surfheads that make a difference.
I have seen the videos of your channel, your son's videos are very nice but your channel views are very low and the number of subscribers is very low. you need proper seo for top ranking your yt video😢😢
I don't have a son. I'm sure my videos need a lot of things but it's okay. I'm out there just having fun. My subscribers will eventually grow with me on CZcams. If not, that's fine too. This CZcams stuff is just for fun. I'm not worried about it. Enjoy the vids man. Appreciate the continued support 😊
What beach is this ..?

@@FishingWithStingrayDrew Awesome! Thanks for the tips and all the information... Very helpful!
Can you show and tell what you are using and where you can get them. Starting to do more light surf fishing and love what you are doing. Thanks.

@@FishingWithStingrayDrew thank you. I will definitely let you know how it goes.
Tied a bad braid to fluoro knot and lost all 3 of my surf heads 😢planning to buy more soon 😂
Ouch. It happens. Practice makes perfect. Keep at it. It'll be worth it!
Also how do you know when your weight is on the bottom I sometimes have trouble managing the 1/8th in surf head with the waves

Can you also effectively target Corbina with this setup (Surf Head w/ z man crusteaz)?
