I have no common sense and I hate it. I had a really bad childhood and an abusive parental figure. And now as an adult I'm told "use common sense " it hurts me cause I can't help it..

I lost my job at TMobile due to a lack of common sense because I was nervous and anxious of making mistakes.

Tbh, my family's common sense is literal and mine is basically being too lazy to do what they say right away, not thinking about plans months ahead, not thinking about what's more important, I'm basically losing brain cells, being semi-mute and not thinking straight like my family does really makes me feel less of a human being and more of a literal nuisance to my family including relatives... I miss opportunities and events that i could have taken have i not been massively incompetent... Tbh, it makes me feel worse even when feeling better...

If you are not adopted, you inherited the ability of being an organized person like your parents but Probably you either rebel against your family or they didn’t teach you (with chores and stuff like that) when you were a child and now is hard to do it spontaneously.

i recommend rebellion. break some foundations of control they have over u so that they let you plan things on ur own. my parents would micromanage me a lot and i never had to think for myself i honestly didn’t know how i felt like i as a person never existed at home bc i played a role in the family as someone who is not independent being youngest in the family. best thing with this though is to wait til u move out. college was important for me cuz i wanted out and now that i’m here in my own place i’m like omg fuck that life. took me forever to see the bad patterns i’ve learned from my childhood and i work on that so i can actually have a sense of who i am outside of the labels and perceptions of my parents

But how can I be happy if not having the same common sense as another person, angers them? How? All my trust, faith and protection is in God. But I'm often told I still have no common sense or its common sense... I honestly dont want to live on earth anymore because of how my brain operates. It does Not operate along with the world I live on. WHY ME?..
IM A HAPPY JOYFUL GITTY PERSON BUT.... I'll still be happy just dieing from a place I cant relate to or pick up things as fast ....

If Plato was here watching your video he would bang his head in despair seeing so much cultural relativism.
Common sense is not relative to upbringing. It is a deeper connexion to truth that we are born with like the natural rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

social etiquette/customs and common sense are two different things. common sense is things logic should lead someone to figure out without seeing someone else's example to follow.

To me common sense in this case would be to realise you are in a different country so things are done differently and then observe others. If you notice that everyone takes they trash to the bin at fast food place it's probably a custom and polite behaviour there.

"it's not rude, because everyone does it"... Uhhh. Hmmm. How do I approach this?? I don't know about you, but common sense to me is if you are on a freeway, don't stare at your phone... If you are on a roadway, use a blinker so you don't get hit by a car killing people. Common sense has a lot to do with understanding the reality you live in as well as a realization that everyone is a person and is in there world just like you. The nice little music and bubbley way people learn and understand today is a reason way people are lost. People are getting hurt, everyday, very bad things are happening in the world, and we need to realize it's not just I, realize there are other people around you. Say thank you, say please. Let that person over in traffic. Stop getting angry, stop road raging, worry about yourself instead of others. Help someone out. We need to stop this finger pointing bs!
