Hi Xandra! i truly agree with everything that you're saying. In order to gain confidence, I need to think of my self worthy and my contributions valid. But this should spring forth from the belief that everybody's worth and contributions is equal may it be the CEO or janitor. However, my mind has a bit of a difficulty in reconciling this with my actual environment. As i am exposed to a corporate environment, I can pretty much see the contributions of our CEO versus our janitors. Not to discount the latter, but the need and the number of people who are directly affected by the contributions of our CEO and how much our lives depend on his decisions somehow make me want to believe that his (CEO) value/worth are definitely higher than that of our janitors. Again though, I am not saying that our janitors contributions are to be disregarded for I am thankful for all of their work but this is just to emphasize on the weight of our CEO's. Which is probably why I find myself easily intimidated not to mention my confidence dwindling, when in the presence of people from our senior management. I would like to hear your thoughts on this or to somehow point out where my reasoning is faulty. :) Thanks Xandra! A big fan here! Btw, thanks for introducing me to the Invisibilia podcast. I have been listening a lot recently and am enjoying. :) :) :)

Self-confidence is linked to almost every element involved in a happy and fulfilling life. We all risk failure when we try something new and your beliefs that stop you from living the life of your dreams are now stopping your growth.
