  • In this video, we take the 7er on a drive down the Autobahn for the very first time. This restoration is slowly entering into the final phase. In this episode, I lower and raise the car (yup, you read it correctly), nail Alcantara on the headliner, replace some speakers... also, I talk for a bit in the end.

This is an amazing channel I've accidentally stumbled upon. As a BMW fan and owner I've literally been binge watching your videos for the past few hours and I'm absolutely mind-blown to read in your channel description that this is just a hobby and you're actually an IT guy. You literally put to shame experienced mechanics imo and the style of your videos is so captivating, no bs hyper-editing, no click-bait, just hours and hours of hard work and patience.
I don't know how you manage your time overall between work, this hobby and personal life but it has to be some real wizardry! Anyways, I'm simply speechless at your craftsmanship and your projects, this will be the first channel ever where not only did I subscribe to but I've also hit that damn bell icon haha. Keep up the amazing work and I can't wait to see your E60 M5 project unfold, that one got me really hooked up. Now excuse me while I go binge watch the rest of your videos :)

I enjoy watching your videos on the E38, the best BMW ever made. I have a 1996 E38 740iL that I found from the original owner with 75K mile, and just brought a 95 E34 525i to save its life. Watching your videos is like standing over our shoulders. I lived in Germany from 1987 to 1998 and loved driving my new 540 I on the Autobahn. Keep up the videos, they have answered so many mechanical issues I’ve had. I have yet to find a trust worthy BMW Mechanic here in Florida so I’m doing the work myself. Thanks

You can buy replacement membranes on ebay for speakers on which the Old membrane has disintegrated. That saves a lot of money and most of the time the end result is better than with new speakers! You might want to try that out, kind regards :-)

I think that is one of the classiest body styles of the 7 series. It just has that kind of cold, abstinent elegance to it that makes it look and feel expensive. Even before you know which powerful businessman is driving it, the car itself feels like it's looking down on you.
