In part 2, the size of the big transformer was revised, to lighten the device, because the very strong power exceeded expectations.
This industrial transformer was then replaced by a microwave oven transformer, turning the power from 3000 to 2000 watts, with a smaller and more compact device. because of the difference between the two devices, the second video has not been named "part 2", but in fact this is part 2 of this video. - Věda a technologie

Well, only the insulating tape that can melt, the good is reupholster with fabric or fiber glass tape, for spot welding coiling gotta be saturated to increase peak velocity

No. aluminium winding are for cheap equipement, especially for cheap welder.
This is a very high quality transformer coming from a 48V power supply.
All turns are in copper, from the origin to my hack, and the output voltage on the secondary is 5V RMS. Thank you for your comment.

@@robsondomingos100 creo que está diciendo que el transformador primario es de 110 V con ése poco amperaje de consumo según el bobindo que uses. En el bobinado secundario según las vueltas te da el voltaje y por ende el alto Amperaje de salida con menor voltaje.

There is a current transformer ratio, and the ratio of the number of times the primary winding to the secondary winding represents the current ratio.
A secondary voltage of about 2v is sufficient, but increasing the number of turns increases the voltage but decreases the current.
In the case of MOT and microwave oven transformer, 2 times is the best, and 3 times will reduce to 66%.
When two transformers are connected in parallel, the voltage and current will be sufficient.

Another thing that seems to be misunderstanding.
MOT, microwave oven transformer,
There is a magnetic flux leakage part of the magnetic steel plate between the primary coil and the secondary coil.
It prevents the secondary load from becoming too high and the current from increasing too much.
2 volts can be insuficient because of loss voltage in section cable and lenght. Increasing voltage permits high dynamic soldering and avoid lenght loss in cables.
When using a MOT, many people remove the magnetic "lock" present in some transformers. The limiting effect is very negligeable, according the size of the magnetic lock. This limitation with a magnetic lock can be in purpose to limit the transformer current output.
Anyway, this transformer works in a high saturated core area, whereas we usually need 20 pounds usual transformer.

the transformer can be disassembled to wind more comfortably ,,,! its transformer is of a size almost equal to my peavey audio power cs 800x with a power consumption of about 1600 watts if I remember correctly ,,,, very even, ,,, I even think that weighs 28 or more kilos the whole apparatus

hello, this video was decked by an arabic title because mainly I had a enginner fellow I meet when I was working on a Total group. When discussing, he told me his interest for making a spot welder and I give to him some explaination to make a variable power spot welder whith simple components. He was happy and begin to build one. And he told me he watched some videos on CZcams and told me about exactly this one. And I told him " you have seen my channel". I add an arabic title to thrill it, just for fun and make the video more general. And I let it like that. Also, I am French but my origin was Algerian. I live in France since I was 6.

For to be honest, I learn always languages, english and also arabic. Arabic is important for me because Quran is writen with it. Arabic script are just a representation of phonetics, words, and actually it just need some knowledge about that, to found it finally easy. Lot of highschool offers arabic matters. Nowadays, I know english better than arabic. I feel a little shame with it.

@marcelo pazmiño yes you're right. But here the big wire is rigid wire not soft .You can not use it with long wires cause they are very hard. This is why I use connectors for adding souple wires for more handeling.

Do not confuse the hold China and the new China. There is two kind of China too. China have army of engineers and build lot's of brand news product. The underneath China recovered hold component, tag it again and sell it on Ebay with false name. If my work is not good it's because I show a way to do it, not a sharp tutorial.
Anyway, you can see on the video when I proceed to an insulation test with a multimeter to check the good insulation.

This is a simple 220V/380V to 48V transformer.
These kind of transformers are used to supply huge bay of automatons and controls systems without any fails.
Anyway, you can find it in a flea market for some euros.

Many times I wonder why some just need to damage expensive materials as that thick copper wire? Easy to disassemble the transformer (like this one) and even maybe reuse that thick Wire! What the problem just not to open up 4 screws and disassemble the steel body? I stopped to look at the video at the point he 'cut' the copper wire with the flex grinder because that already shows his missing knowledge!!

@DIVERCITY ATLASi oui c'est un transformateur capable de délivrer 3 kilowatts mais les automates ne tirent pas toute leur énergie sur un seul transformateur. Dans les salles électriques, ils ne sont exploité qu'a moitié, c'est à dire 1500/2000 watts, afin de les utiliser dans une configuration de grande fiabilité. De plus, ils sont doublés afin qu'en cas de panne d'un transformateur, l'autre reprend le relais et évite le plantage de l'usine. Bien entendu, il est très très rare qu'un transformateur grille, c'est souvent le système de filtrage et de régulation qui casse.

I don't know what you mean by "text". Brass connectors you see in the video are earth/ground connector, used mainly to connect cable tray to ground, or earth. These stuff are typically electrical device.

@Vincenzo Pilato There is only four turns. They are insulated from the metal core with epoxy fiber 8:50, and the turns are not tight betwin them. Even if red tape disapear, ithis does not affect the output power.
Porażka z tym lutowaniem trzeba było zostawić długie końce i przykręcić do ramienia izolacja nie odpowiednia na kable powinna być żaroodporna czasami coś robimy i nie wychodzi
this was a first test. This device work nice, "homemade" insulation are ok.
Wires don't feet al the place sourrounding the core, so, insulation was performed with epoxy ruban and plates, to provide a nice all temperature working situation.

this transformer works very well. because it'es heavy it's doesn't heat when working. But it's just too bulky. This is the reason why I made a lighter version of it. Please look at the link on the video below.
