We want to build a catio in the backyard and I was wondering do the carpets get moldy because of the rain? Do you need to replace them every couple of years?
Hey Terry. Thanks for the visit and question. If you use outdoor carpet you will not have that worry. After the pollen season we hose them for cleaning.

Hello Lisa, we staple the carpet with the pneumatic stapler. Seems to work long term.
