Can u do a video on what plants u use in ur catio?
I have a catio however there’s no shade, no trees etc the sun heats it up so fast and it gets so hot in the summer here. What would u recommend I do in order to provide shade and make the catio cool in the summet
Hello Angela, We would plant an evergreen shrub or two, check to see if they are ok with pets. Also attach light weight heat reflecting roof. Consider the ground, concrete pavers are cooling as well as soil. Please let us know if this helps. Oh, I am working on a video about plants and other topics.
Do you use treated wood? I'm building a small window catio but I'm worried about use treated wood
Yes, we do use treated lumber, it is now safe and free of the cancer causing chemicals. Let us know how your mini catio turns out...
