Here is the first ever Sub Wars on PedalsAndEffects. Jonathan Hischke and I cover the low end that rattles PA's. We cover Mantic Conceptual's Density Hulk, Godlyke's Great Divide, Ashdowns Sub Octave Plus and DOD'S Meatbox.

you guys should try the Moog low pass filter pedal. if you don't use the envelope you can set the pedal as a serious sub kick. i use it live and it ALWAYS rattles the room.

The Electro Harmonix Octave Multiplexer has a pretty awesome SUB as well, it's been known to blow speakers. Pedals And Effects should put it in the next episode of Sub Wars... I think this pedal is totally worthy

The mod setting on the Palmer Unterton produces an interesting sub. Worth checking out.

Dear Juan, great vid as always man!!....Hey, the EHX The Mole bass booster can be considered as a sub? Don´t know if you have tried it before, it´s way less synthy than the ones you showed here.... unless I´m totally wrong of what a sub it´s supposed to be (and probably I am :-)

I use my Meatbox at the front of my chain & kick it on alongside an overdrive during heavier passages. (My band is an instrumental math/post-rock 3-piece.)

You use it before. That way you can phase the octave down signal

Delay is not modulation.

+Ainsley Walker doesn't matter. Phaser is and both should come after the Meatbox for the best sound. The delay and phaser can be switched around depending on what he wants to get. A delayed phaser or a phased delay

I think you've misinterpreted my comment... I was not commenting on which order the pedals should be placed, I was simply correcting his comment which implied delay is modulation. I know that octave based effects are best before modulation, I have 3 on my board. Not sure why you thought I was responding to you anyway, nothing about my comment was relevant to what you said.
