Sounds so sick. Finally rock bands can keep up with electronic music's bandwidth!
If Sunn O))) don't have one i'd be surprised.
I'm so glad to see bass pedals demo'd by actual BASS players, not some guy playing a Strat who looks like he works three days a week at Guitar Center.
+gentillyguy1 that's why I started on the first place. I didn't want to see someone talking about a pedal, I wanted to hear it
every bassist should have one. Sub is mandatory
I've got one of these on my board. Paired with a 2kW Greenboy Fearful 15/6+15sub rig this pedal can really blow out your ears!
+Ian Wichmann nice!!
does the 3015lf do a good job with the meatbox?
It takes it pretty well, I'd say. I don't run the Meatbox full on, though.
Seriously.. this pedal is a must have.
holy malone - it´s gorgeous!!!
Yours is the first demo I've listened to that shows off the growliness of the suboctaves. That said, gotta admit that under headphones this demo made me a little nauseous! Whoof that's some low stuff.
+Dave Dixon Yes, it's a killer pedal. Really hard to demo it without a room full of subs. That's when it comes to life
Whats the best way to reallt capture its dynamics for recording? Bass - Meatbox - Di / Interface?
Or meatbox - Amp - Mic - Interface?
is there the chance to have a 100% wet without distortion?
Hows it sound on guitar?
Hi I was wondering if you could recommend a good bass guitar for a beginner? Because I was wondering if there's a specific guitar for rock basslines and such, thank you your Muse covers are great!
+Kyran Feeley there's a ton of options out there. The Squier VM series Jazz basses are nice and cheap.
Adam Aarts Thanks man I'll look into them
hows the tracking on this?
have you ever run a heavily distorted though it?
Yes. Works great near the end of the chain.
Is this a 'must have' on the pedalboard?
I am in the process of selling a couple pedals to fund some custom in ears, this pedal made the cut. There's something magical about making an entire room an earthquake simulator.
For the full effect you really need a venue with a nice sub array. Without that you're not getting the whole story.
+Adam Aarts good to know, cheers!
Do you recommend giving this pedal its own channel, like straight to FOH?
+acalmerkarma Depends. If your amp/monitors can handle it then no need to do that. I run mine straight through. The output jack is TRS though so you could add a Y Cable to split wet and dry signal if needed.
I was considering running the TRS set up myself. I have an Orange TB500 through a Bassman 610 NEO. I'm worried I'm going to damage my speakers. Any REAL danger or do I really have to push them to fuck them up.
Is it polyphonic?
+KirkDickinson not really. It'll glitch out if you play chords.
Carefull with speaker... and walls!! :D
Love making rooms shake with this
love-making rooms shake with this
How does it sound through a guitar?
+Stormy Weathers Not as great.
I played with one and it never gave me the impression of being a PA crusher.
