@@Kube_Dog man look I have heard everything about carbs and every diet under the sun. People are fat because they eat to much. Low carb works sure but carbs are not the devil. They can be useful for lots of things. I lost the weight. I keep it all off. I feel amazing. I will do me and you do you. I will help as many people as I can and You can do the same but I have my system that works for ME.

Hadn’t realised that you need to drink more if you eat a lot of vegetables. Always thought it odd to be constipated when eating so much fiber. This maybe the answer to my problem. Thanks.
Eileen G. Fiber actually increases constipation plus it keylates minerals so they become not absorbable in the body

When I'm dehydrated, I get a headache in a certain spot. I also get cranky. It's nice to know that I don't have to feel guilty when I don't reach 8 cups a day, 4 seems to be about right for me.
For women: periods can have the same effect, especially with feeling light headed or dizzy, hungry, and tired.

Was just in Vegas on vacation and twice I felt super dizzy to the point of nausea, weakness, and almost passed out. Though I started drinking water, I wasn't getting better. Being a Dr Berg follower, I thought about electrolytes/sodium and started ingesting some salt in my water. Minutes later I was able to get up and get back to the hotel. What a trip! I never even felt thirsty or dehydrated but it hit me & hit me hard. Now I carry salt with me for emergencies. Thank you Dr Berg!

Just finished my morning water with ACV 😃
I'm almost never thirsty now. When I used to eat bread, I would be desperately thirsty afterwards. Now I put potassium citrate and trace minerals with extra magnesium in my 64 oz water container and sip that all day deliberately. I only drink about 32 oz of it by the end of an average day. I'm not usually thirsty before taking a sip.

Please do a video on how OMAD changes a woman’s cycle. Like what causes that. But most of my clients cycle improved with OMAD.
I would like to know too please. My cycle is now very different. I have PCOS and cycle was almost non existent. Now doing 16/8 fasting and occasionally OMAD. cycle returned but irregular. Aware body still healing though, but would love to know what would improve my cycle. NOT LOOKING TO GET PREGNANT THOUGH! 😂😱

Now the opposite please. Signs of drinking too much water. I find myself falling away from electrolite balance on keto. Especially after gym when I drink lots (salted water). I consume magnesium citrate, potassium, eat lots of tomatoes, dark cacao, veggies and using about 10-15g of pink salt (deoends if cutting or bulking). Still sometimes I am getting horrible arythmia, cramps and can't fall asleep, all because of electrolite imbalance.
More sodium. Sodium and magnesium salts are sorta balance. If u r cramping then the balance needs more sodium.

I thought I had a UTI. I was burning when urinating. Tried all the natural remedies to get rid of it(cranberry, more water, acv,baking soda, D Mannose) and it still burned! Even used AZO for the pain and that did not stop the burning. I got scared...went to Dr and they tested for UTI and it was Negative. Dr said I must be dehydrated. I had been drinking more water. So, apparently burning when you urinate is a symptom of dehydration as well.

Hi, im in my 7th week of healthy keto, and omad for ~5 weeks. I lost ~20 kg with a starting weight of ~97kg on a hight of 1,77m. So i nearly reached my goal to loose my belly, but now i have fear of leaving this omad thing... hope i will make a transition that wont cause me to get cravings again. I drink about 7-8 cups of water a day, but I still have dry peeling lower lip. I dont know why.

Dr Berg, HELLO!!!! Where is the sign of dehydration in the elderly??? My Mother has been in and out of hospital for 3 years now, where dehydration has every time without fail lead to diarrhea, so she refuses to drink more than 500ml a day, then falls due to fluids in her balance system in her ears being thick and gluggy, then UTI's because of continued dehydration and refusal to shower and resultant delerium and physical and verbal abuse to medical staff and myself. Could you please address how once dehydration and chronic underhydration has set in the elderly, how it results in falls, UTI's in women and recurrent hospitilazation. Thankyou.
Also I have noticed that my heart will speed up wth strenuous exercise and I become short winded...after consuming a glass of water, heart and lungs return to normal and I can resume activity again...good luck everyone!

I see dark urine a lot at truck stops and fast food bathrooms from other people who didn’t flush. Makes me assume they have horrible diets and don’t drink enough water.

Thats great,but i have a Sjogren syndrome(autoimmune disease),which lead to dryness in my mout,nose and eyes and i often thirsty,so i drink a lot of water.After watch your videos about too much water i think i deplete my sodium level,because very often i feel week and i have brain fog,even i am on keto.

Bingo, this is why it's always better to err on the side of a little more water than too little. Chronic long term dehydration is dangerous. Not a bad idea to minimize histamine blockers also.
I drink about 2-3 cups of liquid per day, am rarely thirsty, and have none of the symptoms you mentioned. I think some people just dont need that much fluid.
I cannot stand seeing dark urine, especially when it’s foamy. I try my best to drink several bottles of water a day.
I know about proteinuria. I had my annual check-up 2 weeks ago anyways & my lab results came out fine. I read the foam can be due to dehydration.

I’m constantly thirsty after fasting too hard. I’m not dehydrated but I do think I have a mineral deficiency. Can constant thirst be a sign of some deficiencies. I don’t urinate frequently so I know it’s not diabetes
I've a dry mouth since doing keto... I'm drinking about 1.5ltrs a day... I don't want to drink too much and deplete my minerals... How do I know I'm getting enough? Thank you Dr.Berg, I love your videos!
You can go way above that without depleting your minerals. I would shoot for 3-5 liters a day (other fluids count aswell). Just make sure you don’t drink it all at once, that is what would deplete your minerals.

how about being so dehydrated that it feels like you have vertigo? I've trying to drink water with pure lemon juice, apple cider vinger. What is a rough estimate with regards to getting my hydration up? I failed the skin pinch test as well. Once the skin is damaged like that, can it be somewhat restored?

Speaking of dizziness and dehydration, I wonder if this can present as a 5 second bout of dizziness. Mine come out of no where every couple months but lasts just seconds. I dont know the cause.

If so, it will still be enough to only drink when thirsty.
Had some nettle tea for the first time the other week- did not over do it - just a quarter of a cup, may have been coincidence but I went to pee some time after and dumped more fluid than normal, and had lower left and right flank pain at the back as I was finishing peeing.(Anybody any thoughts). Not had since.

It's pretty simple. Stay hydrated. But you DON'T need 8 glasses of water to do so.
