I've reason to believe that if you covered up most of the tub with a removable cover, that would dramatically cut down on your heating time. As the water heats up, some of it is turning into steam. In Japan they make use of a kind of sectioned roll up cover. They can be rolled back part way to allow you to climb in and sit at one end and still keep most of the tub covered to maintain the heat longer. I seen them made from plastic slats and wood slats. I think a possible substitute might be made using a sheet of corrugated plastic from Home Depot or the like. Also good to remember that most people have a mix of both hot and cold running when they're filling the tub.
Personally I’d heat a couple 5 gallon buckets to boiling, dump them in and add cold water to fill. You’d use a lot less electricity & much shorter time.

Does anyone know if you will get electrocuted or is staying out of the water a safety measure? I wouldn't do it either way, but I am just curious.
If you have an old house there would be more risk, most houses will blow a fuse before electrocution, but older houses won't.
Another way is to use a propane weed burner! 1.5million BTUs will heat water very quickly! I checked the temp and it was 3000+ degrees f! Took about 5 minutes to get 20 gallons of water 125 f!

Depends on so much. Is the water cold? How cold? At least a few hours to get regular house water up to hot tub hot
Mine came with a different plug for a 220v. The white sticker on the front of the box is the220v to 250v. I can't see what yours says. Did you specify? Because I didn't. It's 1500 not 2000
Yes I specified 2000w, there was a 1500w option but I went with 2000.
How long does the water stay heated??
If you let it heat up for 3 hours you get about 30 minutes

For 300 gallon water which the capacity is too much would not suggest ,but if use more than one maybe works

Good, used it about a dozen times before my water heater was fixed. Just have to wait a long time for decent heat though, it takes about 3 hours to make an actual hot bath.
What if I put 2 heater in the tub instead of 1 to cut down the wait time?
I tried it. Flips breaker. Lol. 🤷🏻♂️ so I ran a extension cord from another outlet in another room. But honestly, one works pretty fast, 15-30min to get 105ish
They use a lot of Watts so flipping the breaker would be an issue if 2 are going at the same time.

No, the manual warns against touching the water while the heaters in it and plugged in.

Depends on how much electricity costs for you but for me 3 hours is about the same as leaving a lamp on for 2 days.
How stupid! You can heat water up in pans on the stove much faster!
No, it's not "much faster". Especially if your tub is big and on the second floor while your kitchen is on the first floor. It takes a lot of trips up and down stairs to fill a big tub, pots only hold a small amount of water compared to a tub and you don't want the pot to be full or you'll spill while lugging it up the stairs. Plus you have to wait for the water to heat up every time you refill a pot.
It's not for everyone but plenty of people find it useful.
