I bought this for myself and put it together without any issues. My problem is that it needs more than the one screw to hold the chute in place. It keeps popping off of the body on the opposite side where the screw is. So annoying!

i am have had one of these units for quite a few years I use it but I am still looking for information regarding controls and cooking for more than one hour I have to be constantly resetting the timer while doing things like ham and roast. Does any one know how?

Personally I’d heat a couple 5 gallon buckets to boiling, dump them in and add cold water to fill. You’d use a lot less electricity & much shorter time.

is it normal that it wont completely shut off? like the blue indiglow dims out but its lcd backlit display is constantly on.. ? that kills the battery.... and when plugged in it just alternates 14.1 - 14.2 top bar always flashes and never shuts off on its own.. I unplug it drops quickly to 12.9v and sits there and eventually next day drops to 12.7v and have charge it again... is this normal??? or do i have a dud.?

I've reason to believe that if you covered up most of the tub with a removable cover, that would dramatically cut down on your heating time. As the water heats up, some of it is turning into steam. In Japan they make use of a kind of sectioned roll up cover. They can be rolled back part way to allow you to climb in and sit at one end and still keep most of the tub covered to maintain the heat longer. I seen them made from plastic slats and wood slats. I think a possible substitute might be made using a sheet of corrugated plastic from Home Depot or the like. Also good to remember that most people have a mix of both hot and cold running when they're filling the tub.

Mine came with a different plug for a 220v. The white sticker on the front of the box is the220v to 250v. I can't see what yours says. Did you specify? Because I didn't. It's 1500 not 2000

You should go back. The scripts been flipped now. Very common to see 4 victim escapes. Everyone just blitzes the fuse box and escapes within 100 seconds of the match. The killers are getting bullied now.
