Hi and thanks for watching. The muntjac deer are very common in the South East of England. We see them a lot. Found this interesting info about how they came to be here. It is local to me.

Agree that working in the NHS can be tough for a variety of reasons but my long weekends help me restore 😊
Whatever I’m doing I just feel relaxed when your vlog starts Sarah, so thankyou. You sound as if you have a stressful job so it was even more important that you enjoyed your break. Happy Birthday to your daughter and happy birth day to you :-). Thank you for sharing your sweet kitty and deer with us. I struggle with sleeping through the night and am usually up for 3-4 hours between 1am and 5am every day - sometimes because of my pets, sometimes because of stress. I'm going to try magnesium oil on my feet to see if that helps. I appreciate your gentle videos, Sarah.💗

Very sweet of you to let that little deer eat your birdseed. I love to feed my birds, although the squirrels seem to eat most of the seeds. But that's okay. They need to eat, too.

Sorry to hear you had a tough day at work. It's a rewarding job you do, but I'm sure there are many challenges too. I hope the prep for your daughters birthday was a good antidote. How amazing to see the little deer in a quite urban setting. Incredible how these animals have adapted to modern life isn't it?

Deer are determined! In my previous apartment, we had deer visiting multiple times a day. Nothing was safe from them. 😄 I hope you have a lovely week. 'See' you next week.
Hi and thanks for watching. We see the muntjac deer a lot. They are local to this area. They don’t like lavender so we have a lot of that in our front garden but I’m happy for them to eat the bird food 😊
@@yarnmugspodcast9123 Our local deer are whitetail deer. We call them urban deer. They aren't supposed to like lavendar or other highly scented herbs. They also don't like marigolds, however, they adapt! I often wonder what would happen if one of our fat urban deer were to meet up with it leaner wild counterpart. Here, if the feeder is high enough up the deer won't get into it, but the squirrels will. A slinky anchored to the pole that hangs the feeder is a good deterrent. Both squirrels and deer can craze on the seed that falls into the grass. It amazes me how adaptable wild life can be. Birds build nests in the letters of business signs on the sides of buildings, we have rabbits, raccoons, eagles, squirrels, deer as well as squirrels and birds in our city. Occasionally a bear or mountain lion will make its way into town. Have a lovely weekend. I look forward to your Friday Vlogs.
Good Morning Sarah, I live in Norfolk and often see Monkjacks, they're sturdy animals shy quite cute really but have no road sense 🥰 ..... pretty summery yarn 😊 Happy Birthday weekend to your daughter hope she has a great time ❤, please take time out for yourself I know your job is stressful and rewarding but your wellbeing is paramount my husband's job was stressful and sometimes rewarding but it was taking its toll on him ........ he's very strong mentally and physically, one day he went into work and resigned ........ Public facing 🚔...... Happy guy now took early retirement 🤩 take care lovely lady xx ❤🎉

Hi Sarah sorry to hear that the lovely feeling from being on annual leave was spoiled at work. Nothing worse than when a job created some anxiety. Look after yourself ❤️ I’m sure your daughter’s birthday went well. My 13yo daughter loves her adidas shoes that we had to order from the UK as the style wasn’t available in Australia. No deer in our area, but the odd fox and kangaroo xx

Hi Sarah, it is difficult to leave your work behind especially when you work with children and families, and if things aren’t ideal. You have a huge soft heart. I hope things resolve. I’m sure you enjoyed the birthday celebrations with your daughter. Can I ask how old she is? We’re just back from a 3 day getaway - it does so much good to reconnect and rest. Plus we didn’t cook so hubby (who cooks) got a decent break from that. ‘See’ you next Friday 🇨🇦🤗

It’s tough when a job is challenging at times and plays on your mind, when you’re at home, I can only imagine what it must be like taking everything on board, but know that you are making such a difference to families, with your hard work and compassion, just make sure you have some ‘down time’ to recharge, so important. I don’t gauge swatch so must have been lucky with the size I made. I made the third size on the suggested needles. Good luck if you make it again. Do you need to change your needle size or make a different size? What do you not like about the fit? Good luck 😊
@@yarnmugspodcast9123 my completed Felix I did it twice is quite big and sloppy the neck particularly sloppy. Trying a smaller needle for next one. Fingers crossed if I don’t think it’s right I will continue with it. Thanks for the advice x
