That’s majority of the Nigerian marriages, and when the woman loves herself enough to leave such marriages the society sees you as not fit as a woman. If abuse is marriage, I will encourage all women to remain unmarried!

It seems, the lady later discovered she made mistake in life, which do happened at teen. She must at the beginning accepted the guy, blinded by the early teen infatuation. However, she may have realized she made mistake in life. When the guy comes we may hear different story. Cases like these are common in the society.

After you had twins why did u have another child again? A lot of children cause a stress in a relationship or marriage. He started slapping u after the twins but u became pregnant again. My partner said if I could have a second child he will see there that my head is not working well. He takes care of our only child, he baths and pays him fees and care like a woman would, I know that having a second child will ruin all this. My 2 cents on this is :--
The guy is her teenage love, no jazz here
At that age, she couldn't see what her sister and parents were seeing -- poverty all over the boy.
The boy promised her heaven and earth in the courting phase - she bought into his vision.
Over the years the reality of life kicks in and she begins to wonder what did she see in him in the first place.
She recognizes that she married down and not up, she pours out her frustration on the boy and disrespects him at every turn, makes the home uncomfortable, now the love is now gone and the relationship becomes mechanical.
The boy now a man is still not doing well, but she realises that men are after her and are willing to give her the life she desires, the man insists she can't be having man friends or dressing in certain ways and the physical violence escalates, but then the man gets the upper hand.
She's finally had enough and decides she can still chase her dreams but it's going to be easier if the man has the kids, so she decides not to fight for the kids, but leave them with their father.
Now she is free to do her kurukere runs
