Honestly, I am not sure of the power of this court any more, domestic violence is a crime and he should be jailed, he confessed to a crime and the judge decision is to pay for him to go for anger management? absolutely wrong
The court is not a criminal court,so she doesn't have the jurisdiction to have him tried and punished for that. The woman can report to the police which has a gender-based violence unit which can handle the criminal case.
If truly what the man has said against the woman is true, then it will be difficult for any man to endure an unfaithful woman. Their is a better ways of handling such an issue rather than domestic violence. The man is not secured at all, he didn't want his wife to work. Such kind of union is not advisable to continue. For it's better they go their separate ways and move on with their lives.
He will definitely look for ways to justify his actions. I work in a court. When a wrong party wants to testify, they know the odds are against them, so they either fabricate stories or exaggerate, to make themselves look good. If there are witnesses against them, and they know they will not get away with lies, they might embellish their story, to make excuses for their bad behaviour.
