I legitimately thought "Wow Nicole does such a good Terry impression."
Im such a fool.
shit me too i didn’t even notice until u mentioned it
Yeah, she clearly has some acting/improv background Im not surprised she does good impressions
😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
ME TOO 😭 he's just that good of an actor though fr
Nicole with the southern accent 😭😂
I swear her Terry impression is 👌
@@DrewTalbert Real
@DrewTalbert I wonder why 🤣🤣🤣
I was about to say! There's performing a character with an accent, then there's performing a different character without that accent impersonating the accent but not sounding exactly like the original accented character. That made sense, right?
@@lostmanatee it did to me!
I like how Terry originally just used the southern accent to talk to Tim and Pam, and now it’s just become a permanent thing
He embraced the Tenessee in him
To be fair, they were essentially the only characters at one point. So we saw him using it on only them because there was no one else in the Bistro Huddy cinematic universe to use it on 😂
In the beginning I got the impression that Terry spoke more California most of the time, but used his natural accent around fellow Southerners.
I know that I tend to do that. I’ll usually mellow my accent, especially when I’m away from home, but around fellow Texans or other Southerners my accent comes out.
(Or when I’m drunk. You can usually tell how drunk I am based on how strong my accent is or isn’t)
@@Annie_Annie__ Same here. Born and raised in Texas, moved to the West later.
I tend to "cover" my accent unless I'm really drunk or really mad 😂
Why cover it? I love different accents@@AverageHuman-en2kt
Terry saying "no it's ass. ASS." is going to live in my head rent free all day thanks
A✨S✨S✨
@@DrewTalbert🤣🤣
We need this on a sound board 🤣
For me it'll be Brad saying "He's an ASS man!" 😂😂😂😂
😭😭
The subtle details and nuance of each character is literally unbelievable.
My brain doesn't even process any of them as Drew anymore
Ikr? They exist! They are real!!!
I can see them in my head clearly as individuals. Nicole is sharp featured pretty. Bridgette is cute, with a snub nose. The hostess is pretty, with a wider face than Nicole.
Drew, you men the server with the weird hair that Brad used to teach? What’s he got to do with any of this?
My (adult) son & I say the same thing! He’s so convincing with each character that they are real, even though the females have a 5 o’clock shadow! Nicole playing with her curl cracks me up!!!
@@agahpashtollah4753 They meant drawn. This is an animated series
I feel like saying "are you still enjoying that" gives picky customers an excuse to start complaining about how they're not enjoying it.
I just say "would you like me to take your plate?"
And I absolutely agree with you. I had boomer regulars who I quit checking back on that first 2 minutes after their food was dropped off. Like, you know what sir? I actually DON'T want to know if you are enjoying your meal. Because you never do, so I will no longer ask 😂
I would start to overanalyze my response to that question and question my menu decision and the level of enjoyment I was experiencing.
@@elizabethcochran3395 I really love to cook and restaurant food usually disappoints me, so that's something I'm always analyzing, especially when I see the bill 😭😂💵
Yup. It’s always something. Fuck these customers lol
“This meeting could’ve been an email.” -Nicole
Nicole never lies😂😂 These server /FOH meetings could all be emails! Went to work for an hour on my day off earlier this week just for mgmt to tell us things they could've just mentioned in a preshift! 😂
"I treat everybody the same."
"Like shit."
😂 I died laughing!
He wasn't entirely wrong there. 😂
When guests are obviously done eating a meal they enjoyed but have left a tiny bit of food on the plate, I deadpan, "Would you like me to wrap that up?" It gets the biggest laugh when there's one pea on the plate lol. Total dad joke but I can't help myself
😂😂 one pea left on the plate lmao! Our family would crack up too, especially with a deadpan expression on your face.
good way to preempt the " *obviouslyyyy* , I HATED it!" dad joke too
"Literally no one cares except old people who need something to complain about" *Pastor Nicole preaching to the choir*
This guy actually just did an impression of a character, doing an impression of a character. You’re fantastic man, keep it up
He knows who he is. He''s a dude playing a dude, disgused as another dude.
THIS
"Hillbilliy style", the way Brad is enjoying Nicole making fun of Terry is just not possible with one person. Freaking genius. 😂😂😂😂😂
Drew, Sir, you are amazingly talented. Creative, adept, humorous, and the list goes on ! Thanks for brightening my day
You are most kind
Hahaha, I thought your were gong to say he has a great eye for talent. @@DrewTalbert
It's alright, Terry, I'm an ass man too.
The capital of Nepal?
@@titanuranus3095 nah that's Katmandu. That's in a whole other area. 😂
i just noticed the song at the end is a pun. ahahhahahahahha "IM TIRED OF WAITING"
Holy shit I can't believe I never noticed that 😭 genius
How is that a pun?
@@ThinWhiteAxeDrew’s content is centered around the experience of being a “waiter” a man whose job is to serve customers at their tables in a restaurant. “Waiting” is the verb form of being a waiter. He often talks about all the downsides and bad experiences, so the joke is that he is “tired of waiting”, tired of being a waiter
Yeah, you can't not notice that right out of the gates. Who's the composer? Will drive me crazy, crazy?
He's as ass man
😂😂😂😂
I can't
I love you content so mich.. it's family friendly, hilarious, and relatable
I wanted to work in the restaurant industry for the longest time. Le Cordon Bleu was my dream college, and everything. Got a job in a slightly above average local restaurant, worked there for 6 months, and was so burnt out I didn't even cook at home for almost a year after I rage quit (emphasis on rage). Big props to y'all who manage to do this for a living day in and out.
They’re good for Terry. Keep him humble. I think if Terry ever got replaced they would all walk out
Stop that one about the change rang so true to me. My mom used to own a restaurant and heard me say that once and I got an overly long talk on that subject 😂😂😂 I miss her dearly, she taught me how to be an amazing server. Watching these videos it’s like I never stopped being one!
That one does bothers me. Don't ask me if I need the change, just bring it back to the table. I was in service industry for a number of years, I never forget and I'm always a generous tipper, but asking me if I want my change is a bit too much. I've actually been asked if I want my change at a store while paying in cash. It wasn't a lot of money but it was over $5. I remember wondering who would leave five bucks in change at a convenience store? And who would think asking appropriate? Lol
Brad and Nicole dusting Terry throughout the entire meeting has me in stitches! 😂😂 You're phenomenal, Drew! Thank you for these bright spots in my day, sir! 💗
The acting in this series is really next-level impressive.
Kudos to Terry for his ongoing struggle to make the restaurant a nice place to eat, despite his servers' efforts.
Wow Drew! Being able to play one of your characters imitating another without sounding exactly like the character they're imitating is insanely talented!
You and Andrea are so creative!
As a guest, I like it if they ask."are you done with that?". On the rare time I pay with cash, I'll bring your change is best to say. Terry is right, you can't assume it's your tip.
You should make a video where Aron sends the kitchen a ticket with a crème brûlée….TO GO
That’s always a riot for the back of the house
As a boomer, I treat servers with respect having been one myself. When my husband and I go out to breakfast, there's no drama, no screaming and no disrespect. That's for younger, entitled assholes. We're not rich but we tip well. If you can't afford a tip, you can't afford to go out to eat.
"If you can't afford a tip, you can't afford to go out to eat." oh so i guess all of europe and asia cant afford to go out to eat since they have NO TIPPING CULTURE? you really are an american boomer
Lol younger people are not the problem. They tip like garbage, but drama is almost exclusively from old people. Specifically old white ladies
"haha im southern" I donno why but the way he just casually says that and continues to talk like complete disregard made me laugh.
He gone learn is how to talk good
Lmao 🤣😂🤣
Terry's advice is so good!! Those phrases do make a big difference! :)
I love Brad and Nicole's banter
I want to know if Brad ever followed up on the "we should go out."
@@lesliemoiseauthor nah... I think Brad and Nicole know better not to mess with the other
The evil Ken and Barbie of restaurants 😂
“That’s a whole ‘nother meeting!”
That "ill be right back with that/your change" advice upped my tip game sooooo much back in the day. It was well appreciated by all of the customers who were tired of telling servers either "yes I do" or "wheres my change???" when they assumed that $3 tip was all for them
the last time i was this early tim and pam could afford to eat here without giftcards
these videos make me miss working in a restaraunt ngl lol
You are more broken than you remembered 😅
Same!
Sleep on it
Gotta ask how an internet skit of a boss lecturing his employees and screaming ASS at them makes you miss it
Trauma bond
i like it! it’s nice to act hospitable and grateful to everyone in the same way across the board. once i learned that it offends some people when you clear plates too early, i just learned to ask each time. “may i clear your plate?” and “are you finished enjoying your first course?” are good options. it’s also common for everyone regardless of age to put their silverware/napkin on their plate AND to push it away from them once they’re done. if there are elbows on the table, hands clasped, or little fork&knife action from 90% of the table, i feel confident to clear.
Customer service is a minefield. 😂😅
This needs to be a real show! Drew... submit a pilot asap! ❤❤❤
I was about to agree until I started trying to imagine what a network would do to our beloved Bistro Huddy. **shudder**
Apart from being hilarious, this is genuinely helpful. I’ve always wanted a better way of figuring out tips vs change
it is SO impressive how every single character has a different background behind them. like the commitment to making the space real is incredible
server/team meetings are always wild. you have made them come to life perfectly
Drew, please give us more bridgit x head chef lore 🙏🏻
I'm convinced you'll never run out of material
Your writing and editing is god-tier. Amazing
I’ve never been a server, but I still love your videos! You’re so good at this, I seriously forget all the characters are played by only you. Very talented!
Terry would be an ass man 😂
I once had a cook from another restaurant absolutely lay in to me because I tried to take his plate after he put a napkin over it. Where I'm from, putting a napkin on your plate means you're finished with your meal. I apologized and put his plate back. He then asked me what the difference between putting a napkin over a dish and putting one over a drink was. I said, napkin over drink means you're stepping away and saving your spot at the bar. Napkin over dish means you're done with your meal. He got so irate with me that MULTIPLE people at the bar had to step in and tell him to chill. At one point I just shouted at him, "It's just food bro, f'in relax, and if you've been in the business for as long as you claim to have been, you should know better."
This assumption that everyone does things the way you were taught to can be maddening when they also pair it with this indignant attitude. So its no big deal if you place a napkin on a plate, I go to clear it, and you mention "oh I'm actually still "enjoying" this (p.s. terry, no guest ever says it like this, so I don't either)" "Oh, no worries, please no rush at all". But if you start to huff and puff like how dare you reach for a plate with a universally accepted signal of "I'm done with this" on it, well it speaks volumes about you as a person.
@timf7679 yeah seriously. I apologized, put his plate back, and even told my other bartender AND the bus boys not to touch his plate. Still got an attitude.
Some people are just angry and miserable, what a sad way to choose to spend your life. I understand everyone has bad days, goes through things we don't know about, etc. But this situation seems so over the top and unnecessary that I feel like they are always that way just because that's how they are. I may be wrong of course, just my opinion.
It wasn't about the food, he just wanted to be acknowledged as being right. Ego!
Hey drew i absolutely love your channel and i really love your humor on goddess
Terry dun lerned'em to talk gooder.
Genuinely (as always) so impressed with the nuanced acting in these skits! They always make me laugh too :)
no tip for "working on it"
As a newish server, I need these videos. You could make an entire training video for servers
Man, you are really good at this. Your character development and editing are flawless. I am continually impressed!
This script is so clever and hilarious. Makes my night ....thank Drew Family
Drew! We need way more content 😂 I can't get enough 😊
Omg yes! Clearing one plate while another person is eating is a huge issue. 😅
Drew, you will probably never see this comment, and as far as I know, you get ones like this a lot.
However, your acting skills are genuinely fascinating.
You give each characters a different look somehow by wearing different clothes and a wig. Thats not all of course, you do change the mannerism of each character to be in line with how they are presented.
A simple concept, a simple execution, yet it's all done really well. A good painting can only go so far, it has to have a soul put into it from the painter.
The best part is I swear I've seen people like this in real life too.
I swear, I'd watch an entire Netflix show of this, even if the characters are all still acted by you.
This may just seem like another "wow he's just good at acting" but no.
It took me a while to register the fact that was you speaking, like a woman trying to do a southern accent.
Genuinely, you are amazing, keep up the work.
😂😂 Well now I need more of Terry's Tips because even as a gen X I've learnt some new things.
I love this one. You hit so many points.
I love this team so much. I wish i had a team like this that stuck around haha. Each character reminds me of someone i worked with once
It blows my mind how well you act in these like nobody even registers that they're all played by you anymore its incredible
love your talent brother!!
The editing on these simply crackles
Always fun when you post
It is great advice, terry. 👏🏼
Love your stuff!
its crazy how good your editing has gotten
I genuinely cannot believe that drew plays every character. i swear to god these are all different people
I love this sm
The beginning is like when Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck did an impression of each other, while both being voiced by Mel Blanc 😂
I love these so much!! I say that every video but I do! I wish I didn't watch all the videos/shorts. I could always watch them again lol you are by far my favorite youtuber!! I was waiting for Terry to say roll tide hahaha Thank you for making these! ❤
I know people comment this a lot but it’s baffling that it’s just one guy, now he’s doing impressions of himself
I know!
I love how Nicole doesn't discriminate, she's an equal opportunity offender
Always love being early to a Drew skit.
Someone explain to me how drew can manage to voice terry, Nicole, and also Nicole doing an impression OF terry, and have them ALL be distinct and identifiable?
"Haha Terry talk dumb."
"Terry, please help with my customers!"
Okay, so, I don't work in food, but I do work in service and this is EXACTLY how my manager acts.
For the change, if you share tips, a good way is bringing the receipt in an ashtray with the change over it, then collect the ashtray when they leave.
Thank you for this, just started a job as a server and nobody’s teaching me how to talk to my tables properly and I feel extremely awkward about it 😂
Brad co-signed literally everything Nicole said! I cannot wait until this year's holiday party when they finally tell us they've been dating for a long time, lol.
I actually need this to be a series on Netflix or something. With like this, the Bridget in vegas, everything with Tim and Pam. I just need this
This is who I’d cast
DOVE CAMERON - NICOLE
SADIE SINK - BRIDGETTE
PATRICK DEMPSEY - TERRY
JENNIFER ANISTON - PAM
MEG DONNELLY - POPPY
ISOBEL MAY - AMBER
T.R KNIGHT - PICKLES
TOM HOLLAND - AARON
ZAC EFRON - BRAD
ELIZABETH GILLIES - RUBY
CATHERINE OHARA - KAREN
i love when they gang up on terry 🤣
Drew is so good at portraying all these characters that it genuinely makes me want to become a restaurant server
Its almost like ... Nicole and Terry are the same PERSON???
Cant wait to see it tried on Tim and Pam 😂
How am I just finding this channel!! I have a lot of catching up to do.
I swrar, what's wrong with me, when I heard Nicole's Southern impression my first thought was "wow, she is GOOD" like he isn't the same man who voices Terry.
I have never once thought of anything that Terry brought up that deep 😭🤚 who actually lives like this to get so mad
"Haha I'm southern" absolutely spoken like someone who has experienced having a southern accent outside of the south.
Lol the conclusion XD
"Eddy Murphy was so great playing all those characters in The Nutty Professor!"
Drew: Hold my beer
"Yall listen up he gonna learn us how to talk good" 😂😂😂 😅 as a southerner I love that haha roll tide haha 😅
Drew makes fun rad awesome cool videos.
I feel like Andrea is secretly Nicole, like the sole writer of Nicole's lines, and is getting a giant kick watching Drew play that character 😂
"every gets treated the same in my section" Nicole is believer in equality
It’s, “How To Speak Gooder.”
Idk why but that “Haha I’m southern” was too relatable 😂
This is all about common courtesy...which is severely lacking in many food service settings
I’m with Terry on this one
"haha, im southern" took me out 😂
Hahahahaha I watched this twice!🤣🤣🤣🤣 Hilarious 🤣🤣🤣
(Me in the psych ward) "They're all the same guy they're all the same guy they're all the same guy they're all the same guy"
