Hey Duck Squad! Be sure to check out and subscribe to Theme Park Shark:
My dad was part of the opening team to universal studios Orlando, and he used to help run the triceratops. If it was broken in any way he’d always joke that she was sick and needed cheese puffs and orange soda. By far the coolest thing to say “my dad works with dinosaurs” at show and tell
Fun fact: when Jurassic Park was released animal activists were mad at Stephen taking a picture with a creature for taking a picture with an animal that's been dead for 65 million years
I was lucky enough to have the triceratops sneeze on my leg when I was little! They 'cleaned' it off with a paint roller! Will never forget that feeling!
Now every Universal park is abandoned because of quarantine!
I worked at Triceratops Encounter from the start. A few of my co workers are in this vid. So cool to see them. And yes those trikes broke all the time. If all three had a "card error" at the same time you were down for hour and 30 min at least. There was a part of the speil where you picked a few people to come up and pet the trike but even then you could only just reach the beak. Most folks were mad.
i feel like the triceratops named “Sarah” is a nod to the triceratops in “The Land Before Time”
Theme Park Shark crossover? This is awesome. I remember the time Adam explored the Triceratops Encounter. Adam the Woo goes on adventures for you, he don’t even ask your mom
You forgot to mention about the cancelled Crash Bandicoot ride.
Everytime they make these abandoned by (insert theme park here) videos the intros are so intense I am living for it
Had a lot of fun with this one! Thank you for having me. 🦈 PS: I HAVE to try to see that arch one day, that’s legendary
Oh my god, the Triceratops, I'd almost forgotten!! My parents had to drag me away from one of those when I was little because I was absolutely in love with it and just wanted to spend all day there. Sad to hear what happened to them though :(
Do Top Best Replacement Universal Attractions.
There's also the abandoned boat dock near the outdoor seating for the three broomsticks overlooking Jurassic park. As well as the Ghosbusters HQ in the main park. Also near fast and furious supercharged and the arcade is a bathroom titled Gotham ice company as a reminder to an unbuilt land in Universal studios
I loved petting that Triceratops who was nicknamed Chris the time I went in! Her sneeze was a surprise to me!
Ya really called the mechanics an endoskeleton huh
The first time I went to universal in 2015 (if I remember correctly) my sister, father and I got lost looking for the river attraction and she thought that the line was empty, we got just in front of those old and abandoned triceratops, it was so shocking but at the same time so cool. Of course we shouldn’t have been there and we quickly leave. It was not planed, but it was very interesting.
The lost continent: I am known to be the iconic piece of Universal Studios
I still miss the Triceratops Encounter. It was really good.
Love the video. I just keep hearing the word : Regurly instead of Regularly . The little grammar police inside my head keeps going off. Hahahahahahaha.
