- The dark prince of distraction and chaos had a day in court this week, and for once one of the crony judges the former leader appointed did his bidding. In a ruling that has been nearly universally derided by legal experts across the political spectrum, the panoply of classified and not classified documents the former president stole from the people's house will be examined by a special master to determine their importance. All of this is of course an unnecessary delaying tactic designed to prevent the American people from getting a full understanding of what was taken and what has disappeared. What was in those empty folders? Inquiring minds and Federal prosecutors would like to know. The news media has become engulfed in this story and is reporting it with the same horserace analysis that they will proffer to the upcoming election season. It's all a giant sporting event to them, unconcerned as they are that the consequence of the next election might make it the last election of any consequence.
The real story is that the weather has yet again taken on biblical proportions with rains, flooding, fire, and heat straight out of the Book of Genesis. The new New Testament will have to add "zombie ice". Meanwhile the water in Jackson MS is undrinkable, mostly due to a history of underfunding the city's potable water infrastructure. The GOP Senate campaigns have managed to blow through nearly $200 million in donations yet somehow there's no money to get drinkable water in the state capitol of Mississippi, a state controlled by Republicans.
There was some good news this week as your host had a lovely birthday, celebrated with friends and some Rantcast recording. It's nice to feel the love, but each birthday is also a reminder of all the parts that need replacing. And as the seasons turn, it's time for Lewis to focus on some of the things most important to him: the new set for his upcoming tour and his fantasy football team. Not necessarily in that order.
And a happy Labor Day for all of you who are on the worker side of the late capitalist dystopia we are inhabiting. Now get back to work.

In my area of the South Shore of Massachusetts, several towns, including mine don't currently have water that we can drink. The reason given was that the regular contaminates were to an elevated level above acceptable! Why is water contamination acceptable period? But don't worry we're going to the moon to the tune of 93 billion with a rocket that doesn't work and even if it did, it's not reusable. We have to build a new one for every trip! Maybe we should fix some of the basics here before we spend the money on that! Going back to the moon is the z of things that need to be done in the alphabet of things that need to be done first! Lewis always makes me rant! Lol Gotta love him!
Soon they will be selling those air tanks on a massive scale. But one will need to get a permit to buy one cannister a month. I want a special master too in the event I’m ever caught with national documents I’m not entitled to. Snowden is basically still on the run hiding with the enemy for taking what didn’t belong to him. The difference being that Snowden’s motives were on behalf of others and Trump’s motives are for his own self interest.
If this flies it will become Constitutional Judicial precedence. Which in legal terms means any chicken shi low life can now request a "Special Master" to delay the judicial system, which will bring all investigation of the POS to a screeching halt. Giving the low life POS a head start in mounting a speedy get away to a country that has no extradition agreement with America.
Its not that we dont care about all your mass shootings but because it commonly features in our news bulletins and affects us deeply perhaps just broadcast those involving ten or more souls. Avid cat lover and rescuer here. People dont spay and neuter their cats let them roam and then dump them. Cats gotta eat! And to no fault of their own they can reproduce very young and very often. Thats WHY when us human fuckers domesticate something we need to be RESPONSIBLE!!! Spay and neuter your cats keep them inside. I have trapped many feral cats had them vaccinated, spayed or neutered and released to Farms that need Barn cats to catch mice. Just this summer i bottle fed a litter of 3 kittens that were left when their stray mom was killed by a car. And another that was found sick. Each trip to the vet with the litter of kittens costs me $250.00 for shots and exams. We just had our 4th and last visit until their surgeries to spay and neuter. Last kitten had undescended testicles that were undersized probably due to being inbred in a feral community of cats that surgery was 350 bucks. And i live in Missouri. I spent the first 50 years of my life on long island where i did the same thing and you can imagine how much that costs there!!! So dobt blame cats Blame Asshole humans.

Honestly, I’d rather play Pinball than watch people play Tennis, which is just a version of Ping Pong.
Cartoons I used to watch as a kid in the 90s becoming reality now but without the superpowers; they would have ridiculous villains making earthquake machines (which we have now but we call it fracking) and literally attacking the earth (remember the proposal to nuke hurricanes?) while corporations ignore the obvious evil deeds supporting them and any possible repercussions (*exasperated sigh*) as if letting the world burn was someones goal (how many wildfires at any given moment!?), meanwhile the future depends on youth activists with little to no political power and almost everyone is too easily distracted.
"Why the sun is a f_ _ _ing foot from the earth now." Great line, but it may happen if the people of this planet don't quit wasting time arguing about the existence of climate change, and unite to do something about it. Although, since our democracy is hanging by a thread, I am starting to doubt whether we are capable of stopping the annihilation of our planet. It is always easier to ruin something, than it is to fix it.

I hate to say this but the individual that talked about dark times I don’t mean to be cruel and I say this but I have to be blunt even in times of light well when some felt things were light it was dark for others. Go back to the 60s to seventies to 80s light times in American history Ask most African-Americans and I will tell you it was pretty dark. Go back to the 1900s when Henry Ford started proposing five dollars for a work way people thought it was bright and sunny out people were making money they were driving cars wasn’t so bright for others who were American citizens. Even now we can argue that this is the digital age mankind is that it’s pinnacle at least so far but look at how things are really. Look at the massive flooding that just hit Pakistan no I’m not going to mention the flooding that hit America it was bad here yes look at what happened in Pakistan entire apartment buildings carried away thousands dead. It didn’t make the news not really I saw it once mentioned I haven’t seen it sense. I’m not trying to compare flooding here and there I’m just pointing out how dark things are for some.
