I have this same motor, a 1962 sea king 15 hp. Apparently the serial number for mine isnt available in any of the catalogs.
I received the motor along with a 10 ft aluminum boat from a family member as a gift. The motor hadnt been ran in almost ten years. I ran it in a tub of water and the impeller seems to be spitting water perfectly. The only issue i have with it is a sputter at lower throttle, at full throttle under load while in gear it runs absolutely perfect. I just tore down the carb on it today, all the o-ring gaskets in it were dried out and some pieces were somewhat blocking the fuel to the bowl and what not. Hopefully this fixes the sputter at low throttle. I cant wait to get it back together and get back on the water!

Ever get the prop fixed? If not, lots of OMC props will fit.

Mumbles, hey buddy! I gave that motor to friend of mine. He moved to Florida a couple of months back. He said once he got settled, would give me a call to fine a replacement.
The motor ran smooth at low idle and speed, the prop hub would slip when building up power and speed. That motor was a one crank start most of the time and had really good compression!
