I love how Kennan and Doug uploaded their own reviews of this exact car. It's honestly a great way to show both Doug and the owner's own take on the car, which would be very helpful for buyers.
That is exactly what we were thinking.
Kennan is the kind of guy to review the same car as Doug at the same time. We love you, Kennan :)
We wanted to give a complete picture on the car.
@@carsandbids Thank you for the answer and for the videos! Keep it up 👍
Has he ever posted about his WATCH collection? He seems to be wearing something different on his wrist in every video, but his arm is never in frame long enough to get a good look. However, I'm pretty sure today he was rocking a two tone Rolex Datejust?
@@StreetPreacherrWho does he think he is, Matt Farah?
Kennan's reviews are better. More indepth and paints a picture/ story instead of listing some quirks and features
I think we should give huge props to Kennan here! His comfort level on video has greatly increased and I feel like he’s developed his own presentation style that complements the channel nicely!
I appreciate that!
Never thought I'd hear Kennan say "sticky stuff" and "shrinkage" in almost the same sentence. Really enjoy all the facts, stats and history in your videos Kennan. Watch out Doug, he's gonna be more popular ;)
Hey now ;)
Hopefully Less Doug DeMuro makes a Sus Kennan video to highlight the quirky features even more 😂
This is fantastic way to compare the 2 different styles of Kennan and Doug .👏👏👏 C&B videos are killing it 👏👏👏👍😁
We thought it would be a nice contrast too!
I’ve really become a fan of Kennan’s approach. I love Doug’s quirky take on features and digital tech, but I really enjoy Kennan’s technical/mechanical emphasis. The differing review styles complement one another very well.
watching kennan first, doug afterwards
Let us know what you think.
@@carsandbidsI enjoyed this video a lot! Many cool facts, informations and details, plus, I really like how he explains stuff. Great video and I must say that Kennan gets better and better with each video. I am exicted for the next one! (and I am also excited about what car he is going to buy next!)
Kennan is the type of guy to sell his dream car
What to do they say, Did it, and got the t-shirt?
Kennan is also the type of guy.
Uh oh, it is starting.
@carsandbids 😆😂🤣 don't sweat it!!! Your doing great 👍
Thanks! We are trying to make fun and informative stuff for y'all.
Best 355 video I’ve seen all day. 😉
Glad you enjoyed it
I love how you can tell how special this car still is to Kennan. Hearing his car-loving inception story, you can still feel the love. It's heartwarming to watch.
It is a very special car.
Kennan is making very good progress with getting comfortable behind the camera. I love the nerdy stuff like stats, too!
We do too!
Doug operates the camera and then they switch
I saw Doug's video on my feed, and actually I went over here first to look and see if you had a review on it. I appreciate your insight in the car's history and technical nuances!
This is such a beautiful/bitter sweet video. Must be difficult to come to terms with leaving behind your dream car.
Appreciate the honestly about the car's flaws and yet you can see genuine emotion & love for this beauty of a car coming through.
Kennan is such a perfect for Doug Demuro + Cars & Bids.
Thank you so much!
Great car, great review! I actually like this one more than Doug's because of more tech details. Also, Kennan, I love your voice!
I usually don't enjoy Kennan's review videos. However on this one I think he hit a beautiful home run! Kennan reviewed the same car as Doug, both videos releasing simultaneously. That's gotta take a lot of guts. But courage aside, this time I liked Kennan's video so much that I prefer it over Doug's. Never thought I'd say that; but there you go. Congratulations, Kennan. And keep it up!! Best regards from Brasilia, Brazil.
Wow, thank you! Obrigado
How great this is! An honest review, that covers both this car's pros and cons. Not a sales pitch at all, to get the most money out of it. I really appreciate Kennan and his honesty. And I love the way you present. Good stuff!
Glad you liked it!
Very enjoyable video by Kennan! Especially the backstory and in-detail owner experience.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Well done, Kennan! I really enjoyed this video. May this 355 go to a good home. Best regards from Brasilia, Brazil.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I really appreciate the brief history and the deep dives into the technical. Well done!
Thank you!
I definitely enjoyed your review more then Doug’s. And Doug is one of my favorite CZcamsrs. Keep up the awesome reviews. 👍👍👍
Appreciate that
Hell yea! Go Kennan!!
Kennan, I like your review more than I like Doug's. Less animated, better researched (although in this case you're biased 😁) and full of interesting information (I really wanted to know how the shocks worked)
It was super advanced for the time.
Legend says that you must make an appointment to open or close that roof. Thank you once again Kennan for all the good data you shared.
Any time
Love it ,"the car is not slow it's just not fast"
Now that Kia EVs go 0-60 in under 4 seconds the whole game has changed.
Hell yes!! This is review I want. Kennan kicks ass when he gets nerdy! The Rick Steve's of Car reviews
Thanks!
Hahaha that’s such a random comparison, but a strangely good one. Like a young Rick Steves, but instead of a tour of Europe, it’s a tour of European cars.
Great review, Kennan.
Thanks for watching
Beautiful machine Kennzoil!! Hope the bid goes really high. 👍🏻🇺🇸
The market will decide with no reserve.
Love ur videos Kennan! Love the knowledge, the passion. And yes the 355 is one of the most beautiful but….ouch, I can’t imagine how expensive those 9 months have been for you. Unless money’s no object, those beauties are a difficult proposition indeed.
I’m not sure what he expected
Just why, Kensoil, would you sell this amazing car??! 😲
He talks about it in the video, but he wants more of a highway cruiser for long trips.
@@carsandbids It's just unfortunate he didn't realize that 9 months ago... Hopefully he puts a bit more consideration into the replacement car so he doesn't 'outgrow' the next one in less than a year! Those types of growth spurts could get VERY expensive. lol
@StreetPreacherr it's his dream car! He did the right thing 😍
@@dommarston23 True, and I guess most dreams don't tend to last very long ;)
A brilliantly well thought out video from, clearly… a very passionate owner. Mr. DeMuro did a good job on his video of this icon… but all things being considered, his video had ‘Sizzle’,… but your video was the ‘Steak’. Great job and thanks for the video.
Glad you enjoyed it!
So thorough. Cheers.
Such a complex top. The Miata would like a word 😂
LFG more Kennan!!
Thanks!!!
Glad to see you got to experience your dream car. I will finally be able to experience my childhood dream car at 22 as I pick up a beautiful E46 M3 this weekend.
Can’t wait to know what it feels like!
That’s a great car!!!
@@carsandbidsthank you! I’d love to see Kennan review one sometime and give his thoughts. :)
Nice, I’m 21 and really considering getting one of these
@@blairdrummond5043 that’s great! Make sure you look for a nice sorted out one and get a PPI if you ever end up going for it. Good luck!
OH KENNY BOY, THE VIEWS THE VIEWS ARE FAAALING,
FROM CAR TO CAR, AND ON THE ROOAAADSIIDE
I had a metal shift knob for my WRX, and one of the most essential interior tools I had was a black tube sock I could put over it when parked outside, so I didn’t drive with a blistering hot shifter.
It will get ya!
Doug is the kind of guy who hires clones of himself 😮
Stay genuine Kennan!!
Great job Kennan! It was so awesome watching you achieve your dream!
Kevin killin it like always
💯
Going to be changing ur IG handle now? lol keep up the good c&b videos flowing
Not sure yet
Would have been funny if the beginning of this video started with the outro of Doug's video, and after it was finished Doug would walk off and Kennan would walk on
That’s a great idea. You are hired. :)
@@carsandbids glad to be part of the team!
(but actually tho I would love to work for C&B one day... Currently a business major)
The best Kennan video YET! Loved learning about the history of the car and the in-depth review of common issues. Really great video 💪
Thanks!
this used to be my dream car when i was a kid, always loved the way it looked and sounded. but as i grew up i learned more about ferrari maintenance and successfully scared me away! not that i can afford it anyway but i no longer dream about it. i have a similar story about the viper acr. at my local autox, a couple raced one and gave me a ride and it was insane. i loved it
It is really great when they meet or exceed your expectations.
I'd like to point out that Mitsubishi had an adjustable suspension (among other techy stuff) in the 3000GT in 1991.
Good luck with the sale. I wouldn’t own one if it were free. Quite Beautiful but the maintenance would drive me to insanity.
Good job Kennan really enjoyed the dual reviews gave a great full pic of car. Good luck!
Thank you!
I am a huge fan of the double review of the same car - especially since Kennan loves it so much.
@Kennan what is next for you?
TBD on the next car.
Love the idea of a double upload for a special car
We thought it would be nice.
I couldn't place why this F355 looked so much better than every other F355 until Kennan mentioned it was Rosso Barchetta, not Rosso Corsa! Glad I came here coz Doug didn't mention it!
We think the darker red is really nice.
Kennan has Cars and Bids money to play with, I look forward to seeing what he buys next.
We have a list of things to keep an eye out for.
My man just dropped a 24 minute advertisement for his car. I hope he gets a lot for it!
We tried to keep the sales pitch to a minimum and give meaningful insight into a car that so many people are curious about.
@@carsandbidsOh I know. You gave a lot of insightful information. Good video!
Kennzoil I think its the right move. The GT highway bruisers are very engaging and intoxicating
San Diego isn't as twisty and mountainous as LA where you can drive Angeles Crest every weekend. A long haul fast highway machine seems more appealing.
How tall are you Kennan? Curious to understand how well you fit in the car.
Bypassing the cats is crazy, I love it so much. I really like the more technical approach of Kennan vs the more normie oriented style of doug himself.
Thanks!
You could get a “gated 6 speed manual” any year for the f355. Also the selling point of your car is it’s a 95 so it’s obd1 with no immobilizer AND makes more power than the ob2 cars which also have problematic issues. There’s a reason all f355 challenge cars are obd1
I appreciate the plates Kenneth
Great right?
@@carsandbids what do they mean?
@@vladvulcannot sure if you’re serious but it’s cars and bids.
@@devin2156 I haven't thought of that tbh. The guy has no personal life?
I can only imagine what it feels like if I had a aston martin vantage like the one doug had being delivered to me!
We have a lot of Vantages come through the site, and they seem to be more reliable than most exotics of a similar price point.
Been watching Doug's videos since he bought his Aston Martin. I absolutely LOVE this new direction. You're doing a hell of a good job Kennan. Really nice contrast to Doug's somewhat more general overview. Keep up the good work!
Awesome! Thank you!
this is a case of never meet your heroes. I loved the 94-98 Cobra when I was growing up, bought one with 30k miles last year that was mint and I hated how it drove. Sold it 2 weeks later but I did make a profit.
Take the money and run!
Was Facts and Figures off the head or planned? I love it honestly.
Random stroke of luck.
as a tall person the seats moving forward to put the top up or down seems very annoying, I would be worried about my legs getting pinched on the throttle or against the dash... or is there so much space that this is a non issue? (i'm 198cm/6'6"/6.4'(i''m not familiar with freedom units, so correct my notation if you feel like it))
From anecdotal experience, a tall person has to open the door and sit sideways while the top and seats move.
Best of luck in the auction!
Thank you!
Hey Doug! I would love you to review my 2024 BMW X6... I put up in Salt Lake City, Utah!
Mondial T had power steering as well
2 reviews. 4 t-shirts.
Does anyone know if the 355 was available with the Fiorano handling package?
I believe it was the last year off production it became a thing.
At the time, the Challenge car was cheap-- you could swap suspension parts onto the street car and it was an amazing upgrade. Never knew if it was an option to spec.
20:07 Woodie Wagon!
Nostalgia!
You're not the only first-time classic Ferrari owner to be paranoid about breaking down or catching on fire. I think that's part of the experience and you eventually get over it. Once sorted, these cars are pretty solid.
Yeah but shouldn’t they be sorted at the factory before they’re released? I know they’re not the only car manufacturers that do this but Ferrari is notorious for this dubious practice.
@@phinds1 Almost all of the problems I have seen with older Ferraris are because of lack of use and/or spotty maintenance. I don't have experience with any of them new from the factory, although going by the records of my 1987 328 GTS, it was trouble free for the first 18K miles before it stopped being driven by the first owner and fell into neglect.
@@Lumber_Jack Point taken BUT you see so many owners/reviewers talking about the issues Ferrari's have,,yes mostly older ones but even the newer ones seem to come from Maranello with problems. Just the stigma alone,, either real or perceived, would steer me away from the brand. Unless it was an F40! LOL I have nowhere near the amount of cash to even hope to have a Ferrari. I'm just talkin' lol
@@phinds1 I agree with the original poster that many of these +25 year old cars have had 5 maybe 10 owners and although many owners can afford the car they either miss essential maintenance or don’t drive the car regularly which causes most of the problems people see.
I’ve had my 1995 F355 for 4 years and it runs like a Swiss watch.
Your point on new/nearly new cars is a valid one so totally agree.
Never say never, hope you get your dream car one day!
@@sultanoftippoo3857 Thank you! I have the closest thing that I can afford,, a White (with maroon interior), mint condition 1989 Supercharged Toyota MR2. It's my fourth MR2 and my second supercharged version!
This is my dream car.
Proceeds to sell said dream car,
erm..
There are so many famous sayings about this exact scenario.
What do you plan on replacing this car with Kennan ? Also was the ownership of this car a Never-meet-your-heroes type situation ?
He doesn't know just yet, but there are a few on the list. Kennan would have to speak more on that heroes part.
@@carsandbids I want to hear the hero story too.
What’s that saying… “ sometimes you never want to meet your hero “
Love the license plate
It won’t come with car unfortunately.
Very good and honest review, but this is the car of your childhood dream, the first Ferrari you had a drive in, a truly magnificent car, so why would you keep it for less than one year? it must be hard to let this 355 go.
Kennan had the experience and realized that he is more into other types of vehicles. Sometimes dreams don't meet the expectations set forth in childhood.
Today we are blessed with double dose 🙏
Can’t go wrong with more Ferrari can you?
Why didn't Ferrari used bigger valves instead of multiple one?
"More air into the combustion-chamber"?
That would NOT work. 🤪
Oh… Kennan’s in this?
Kennan is now the kind of guy to sell his dream car...
I hope he's not the kind of guy who will regret that .
Better to have love and lost....
Are you sure its a 2.7 with an airbag steering wheel?
Nickel & dime. Been there, done that. If you pay more than $4500 in a year for maintenance on a car, time to get rid of it.
Great advice!
Why doesn’t it have the decals on the right and left sides?
Faster than a manual.
the 348 and 355's were a lowpoint in Ferrari design for me. the look just seemed passionless. like they just kind of winged it.
Wow, that’s a hot take.
Classic case of never meet your heroes
Be sure you do major research on the Internet, and mainly CZcams regarding many reasons to not purchase the F355 of any year. There are many major flaws that will constantly cause problems. The main one is the 5 Values that have blown up and burned a high percentage of these cars. There are a number of videos on CZcams showing a F355 burning up. Also several inferior metals were used, which will also cause major repair problems and large bills. I have owned Ferrari, but never a 5 valve, and not with the inferior engines of the nineties. CZcams and the Internet saved me a fortune by not purchasing any F355. I like the design, but that’s only good for sitting in your garage. I live and drive regularly between Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, to Palm Beach, but I never see these cars. My guess is the owners are scared to drive, and blow the engine while causing the vehicle to go up in flames, and possibly burn any passengers. Also note Ferrari briefly used in the 360, and decided to never use a 5 valve again. They decided to stay with the 4 valve from then to today. I am somewhat disappointed because I really liked the F355. However, I am like Enzo Ferrari, who said a Ferrari is not a Ferrari unless the engine is in the front. The future of Ferrari is not so bright. When Enzo passed, Ferrari was never the same. Then Fiat sold their 90%, and things started down, then Pininfarina broke away after a half century designing Ferrari, so I will never buy anything newer than the Boxer BBi.
A true dream car! what a machiiiine as Clarkson would say 😅
Yes indeed!
I would have spaced these out Kennan should have reviewed it the day before it sold to push the marketing a little further the views will all be taken by Doug's vid
How can a dream, once realized, lose its charm after just nine months? UNLESS, it’s turned out to be a nightmare in reality?
A donut with no holes is a danish?
Selling your dream car. Way to go, Billy.
Had the experience, and now wants to move in a different direction.
where is my Doug, nothing wrong about the revieuw but i am here because of the dogg..
Doggy DeMuro?
Doug better watch out, this guy is gearing up to replace him. He's got the two shirts and everything.
The next person will have three shirts to show dominance.
So Kennan is 28 years old?
He is timeless.
I came here for the features and quirks.
Facts and Figures?
@carsandbids that too! But I must ask, have you ever argued with Doug about Ferrari making a boxer engine?
Boxer vs 180 degree v engine is a great stuck in traffic conversation
Need exhaust
Easy decision as an enthusiast. I like Kennan’s reviews far better than Doug’s.
Wow!
Watched this before Doug's review 🤷
Wow! Thank you!
Wait until all these Kennan haters find out about Alanis
"hydraulic cylinder". "Hydraulic ram" hasn't been fully corrupted yet from its actual meaning.
"The reason they are known for catching on fire is..." because they caught on fire.
Nine whole months?

9 mos and ready to get rid of it!!!
Sometimes what you have in your head doesn't live up to the years of dreaming.
