RFK Jr is not a career politician.
He has successfully sued giant corporations on behalf of victims for close to forty years.
His environmental record over the decades has been stellar.

I used to think he was a staunch environmentalist too, but now he has pivoted to appeal to the right wing voter. He recently criticized the size of Biden’s subsidies for green energy. He has not committed to keeping the administration rules aimed at cutting greenhouse gas pollution from vehicles and power plants, and he hired a communications director who criticized “hysteria” around global warming. And what about his anti vax stance that was instrumental in parents in Samoa deciding not vaccinate against measles causing an outbreak that killed adults and children?
All of this is very problematic for me and it should be to all serious voters .

He may have done some good things in his life, but this is still not the kind of alternative I think the majority of Americans/non-fringe voters are hoping for. Why are all our options for president elderly, insane, demented, unstable, unreliable, irrational, archaic and obstinate. Whatever the outcome I just know the next 4 years won't have great leadership regardless, but I hope that changes in future elections.

it still is a _conspiracy theory_ if it's true. The meaning of both words "conspiracy" and conspiracy theory" are slowly being changed and it's even observable in how you use it in your comment. "Conspiracy" is when 2 or more people collaborate to commit a crime or some kind of wrongdoing. "Conspiracy theory" is the suspicion or allegation of that happening.
Slowly but surely the meaning of the "conspiracy theory" is being changed into "lie". That's gaslighting since the people who conspire are the ones actually lying and even if the conspiracy theorists are wrong they aren't lying but just being wrong in their suspicion.

His success of fighting the big companies makes him really good at critical thinking. He does well at showing that one size does not fit all. In fact his recent comment on the recent chevron deference ruling was well balanced in saying it cuts both ways. It somewhat highlights the real issue. Which there are too many people who want a black and white ( for or against) answer. Just trying to have a rational critical conversation regarding these topics causes some of the fear mongering that is being highlighted. Dems would have slame dunk win if they could swallow their pride and just have a conversation that is inclusive. He turns off republicans once they hear of his progressive track record.

Your stuff usually seems very well researched. I am sorry to say that is not the case here. I am not a Kennedy supporter. But, if you listen to him speak he is, indeed, quite rational. A lot of people of his age had trouble with substances, and many "wandered" before finding their adult personas. It is all to his credit that he managed to break free from serious addiction, and to grow into a very capable adult. It is not necessary to agree with every single thing that he had ever said or done, nor to endorse his past mistakes, in order to recognize that he is an honest man. I believe that he is running, not out of egotistic need, but because he honestly loves this country, and wants to improve it. He will not be elected, but he has been very badly treated by the media, and by the current elite who run the party for which his family gave so very much. It is a true shame that people will not even by given a chance to cast a vote for a "third party" candidate, and an equal shame that many people with write him off entirely based on "analysis" such as has been provided here.

RFK's stance on vaccines comes from a place of data and studies which he cites religiously. He is familiar with proof and receipts, as that is how he has won so many cases as an environmental lawyer. These aren't far flung conspiracies, but questions we should all be asking.
I challenge you to read his books, or listen to a long form podcast of his, before just going with the propagandist line of him being a kook. He is quite far from it.

In order for a psychologist to be effective in giving analysis, they must be able to negate their personal prejudice. Dr Grande has difficulty doing that in many cases, including this one. If the worst thing he can find with Biden is his mental decline, however it was much worse that Trump believed an election was ‘stolen’, there is a definite prejudice involved. Perhaps Dr Grande also believes our current justice system is fair and unbiased too. I agree that our current three choices for POTUS may not be the most outstanding that we have ever been offered, I will always go with leadership strength keeping the US as safe as possible and only one candidate has that ability. If your opinion is that RFK Jr. is not a rational thinker, you probably have not done much primary source research or aren’t one yourself. Rational thinking does not necessarily equate to being right about every premise in your arguments. His premises are by and large not irrationally based either. And if your concern is that he is not rational enough, then you CERTAINLY should not vote for either of the primary candidates who are each cognitively disabled in their own rights. What a disappointing video. We need someone like him instead of the piles of shit the establishment offers us, flaws and all. No human is perfect. He is good at heart and willing and able to do much of what’s in our best interests.
