The fact bamford has gone from not being gd enough for us in the championship according to a lot of fans to drawing significant interest from Liverpool to replace ferminio shows how brilliant he has been this year.

Bamford has grown into his boots, at last. Not just a handful on the pitch but a sound lad who seems to be enjoying his life. Really enjoy those podcasts as he speaks openly about his past and current attitude.
I was one of the unbelievers in Bamford's ability. I hang my head in shame.

I think Bamford epitomises the Leeds ethic, team-spirit, and workmanship. Letting him go would be to our detriment and see us needing yet another striker that has his energy and intelligence. It isn't going to be easy to find someone like-for-like or better. I mean, as good as they are, Rodrigo and Tyler haven't proved to be at his level or anywhere near it this season.
Bamford is crucial to us, I definitely wouldn't let him go
Being a leeds fan since a 9yr old kid, went to peter lorimers testimonial with my dad, i have seen all the ups and downs over the years, by far our best manager apart from Don Revie, is Marcela Bielsa, he reads the game so well, hopefully he stays for many years and gets up all the trophies we so well deserve.
The players have said that Bamford is one of Bielsa's favourites so I would be very worried that if we sold Bamford that Bielsa might start to think that promises made weren't been kept. While Bielsa understands the finances of football every time we consider selling a player or not offering a big enough contract we have to think about Bielsa's thought process on the matter.
We need to get used to speculation with our players now it goes with the territory. There have been rumours about Salah so if Liverpool are not immune neither will we be. However the fact that players Bielsa has brought on to the degree that he has so that clubs like Liverpool are interested in them can only help when we are looking to bring other players in. Personally unless ridiculous money is offered I don't see any of our best players will be leaving and the fact that as soon as one of these rumours surfaces the club immediately release a statement that offers will not be welcomed or accepted. We are no longer a selling club and people need to get used to that.
I don't have a problem with players leaving to further their careers, however I do have problems with how they choose to leave. Wood left us at the last possible moment leaving us no time to fins a replacement. Charlie Taylor demanded a transfer and refused to play in the final game of the season. So as far as I'm concerned they not only burnt their bridges with the club but blew up the foundations as well and deserve all they get when they return and the fans are back. Others like Sam Bryan thought they were better than us, now it may be their agents turning their heads so they deserve all they get. I would hope that there is a wall at Thorpe Arch for all the young players to see of all the young players who left Leeds because we weren't good enough for them with a record of all that happened to them after they went.
Clubs are after all our players...except Kiko!

On Talk Radio there was a big buzz about Danny Ings and what a goal scorer he is and why he should be in England squad. One happened to mention that if he was Leeds he’d have scored 25 at least, then expanded to he’d be ideal for us, etc. What does our Oracle make of that? BS or something to it?
As for Dyche, he’s a first class stirrer, always up for banter. Nothing more, he lives for the rise, he us funny with it.

I don’t think Bamford would look to go elsewhere. Here at Leeds he has a manager who believes in him, and this is what he has been looking for all his career.
Gianni was supposed to be a bench player this year, behind 1st choice LB Dallas, look how many games he's had thanks to many injuries.
The 3 seniors will be a huge miss for squad attitude but our tactics have moved on, best to let them go to play in a team they can consistently turn out. We could do with their salaries going into players who can enhance the regular depth.

If you’d asked about the departure of the 3 senior players, 3 months ago- wouldn’t have batted an eyelid at any of those names as far as the playing squad goes. Love Berardi, he bleeds Leeds, but when was the last time we saw him? Pablo has been a massive signing for us, but again has hardly featured this year. I love Alioski and out of the 3, I feel he’s going to be most missed on the field. He’s really matured this season and grown massively as a player under Bielsa. To the point of when he wears his heart on his sleeve and does something rash, it’s almost a surprise now lol… All 3 deserve a proper sendoff and respect from the fans in the last home game.
We need to improve too many other areas to let Bamford go (IMO, a lb, cover for Kalvin & another creative player).. Cannot even consider this unless Gelhardt, Somerville and co are world class and ready to play against the men next year.. Patrick is in good form and loves playing for Leeds. The fans love him, he has to stay..
Its gonna be a sad day when Pablo goes, I don't think any Leeds fan will ever forget that goal at Swansea.

Happy that Bielsa states his commitment to keep Alioski and Bamford. Makes me think Bielsa has long term plans to stay with Leeds United, Alioski has had some bad moments in games but he is always there working hard. Bamford is important to the team. Every single player has a price where its better for the Club to take the money so its pointless saying you don't want Bamford to go. Its simply a case of is the bid price high enough and what will that money be used for .
Players can go from hero to zero very quickly . Look at Torres when he went from Liverpool to Chelsea then Coutinho from Liverpool to Barcelona. Great bit of business for Liverpool that at £200m +rolling in especially as they never justified their price tags after moving .Closer to home where is Sam Byram now and the best example for us in recent years is Jack Clark which at £10m was a great bit of business for us and there were plenty of us at the time who didn't want to sell him .
We need to keep bamford and rodrigo as along with geldhardt coming through we shouldn't need a new forward which means we can spend money on other positions.

We spent £100m in one window, so I think dyche has a point..... by the same token, and what? We generate way more revenue so it’s to be expected we’d spend more
But Dyche has assembled a squad worth a very decent Premier League value. The point he was making was as if he has never had that luxury, 'we have only had 750k to spend'

We can't live in the past and we have to evolve to survive. Yes Pablo and Berardi have been great servants to the club but they are not getting any younger and so I would not offer them a contract. Thank you men. I would keep Pablo as part of the coaching team. Alioski I would keep as he fits in with us and can still offer options on the left. My only problem is what to do with Tyler Roberts,, he offers little to the team. MAMF.

If I was a Leeds player I wouldn’t leave for Liverpool. Leeds are going places… Liverpool are stale as it currently stands 💪 We won’t sell our main assets this season.
I wouldn’t say Liverpool are stale - they’ve had a terrible season with defensive injuries. And Klopp is a big draw for any player. But Patrick knows all too well that Bielsa has brought out all his best attributes that no other coach has been able to do. I think he knows he would be crazy to swap just as he’s hit his best career form, and by a very long way, especially if he wants to represent England. Of course, if they offer to treble his salary, who knows?
The lure of bigger money seems to always play a part in professional sports, sadly when the big money is offered the grass looks a lot greener elsewhere. Leeds United are going places if players and manager stay in place, add a few more quality players and Leeds can go to the top.
