Ukraine should be provided with an enough fighter aircraft to form airforce;, such as F-16s and longer-range precision munitions, including ATACMS (more of them, and the longest-range versions should be sent to them)), and the russian military facilities inside of russian territory should be considered legitimate targets. It is worth noting that support for military aid to Ukraine in America is over 80% and increasing. This is because Americans understand that not only is aiding Ukraine the morally right thing to do;, it is the practical thing to do also. America has spent something like approximately 6% of our military budget so far to aid Ukraine. However, more than half of the russian army has been destroyed. This is a tremendous bargain by any measure! In addition, when russia is defeated in this war, their barbaric ideology of imperialism will also be defeated, making Europe a much more peaceful and stable place for decades - as well as preventing a new arms race in the region. That is why billions of dollars spent today to aid Ukraine saves trillions of dollars tomorrow. The vast majority of Americans understand this fact. Americans also want Ukrainian military and civilian casualties minimized. This is why Americans are correct to support providing military aid to Ukraine.
Please write to your elected representatives to request this military aid. If you are an American citizen, please consider writing to President Biden and your other elected representatives, and demand Ukraine be given the above weapons --- in war-winning quantities, and promptly. The sooner America provides Ukraine the weapons it requires to liberate all of its territory, the sooner this war will be done, and with fewer Ukrainian casualties. Letters can be submitted electronically via the Whitehouse website. One can also conduct a google search for ones' elected representatives - many of which have similar websites. One may simply write and submit a letter electronically to make one's desire known.

I thought I was the only one that was bothered by this. If he's unable to do the combat duty there are man other tasks he could do (deliver food, transport the wounded, evacuate civilians,etc.)
Breaking- Reuters and Bloomberg report the first package coming will be 3 times normal. It is a 1 billion dollar shipment including the usual items, including armor, transport vehicles, 155mm ammo, additional stinger, himars and patriot missiles. Not much more detail at this point.

I've heard the package includes more ATACMS, but I didn't see any mention as to which version. I hope they send the long range systems. It's ridiculous to tie Ukraine's hands like they do.

We tell the story of what happened in Ocheretino. In addition to the heroism and courage of the Russian fighters, this was influenced by one curious situation.
In mid-April, a conflict occurred between the commander of the 2nd battalion of the 115th Mechanized Infantry Brigade and a foreign specialist assigned to this brigade. A mercenary with a more impressive rank than the commander of the 2nd battalion of the 115th Mechanized Infantry Brigade in an indicative form ordered the commander to launch a decisive counterattack, the captain, being clearly intoxicated, rudely refused, to which he received a death threat. After such words, the commander did not tolerate such “lawlessness” of a foreign specialist and they had a fight, which resulted in the liquidation of the mercenary by the commander of the 2nd battalion.
After the events described above, the personnel were withdrawn by the commander from the Ivushka gardening partnership. The Russian army launched an offensive, and the 1st battalion of the 47th Mechanized Infantry Brigade and part of the 3rd Separate Brigade, which were hastily transferred to Ocheretino, refused to launch a counterattack.
The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Alexander Syrsky personally faced two dilemmas. Firstly, this is not the first time (remember the departure of the 3rd Special Brigade from Koksokhim) brigades and their commanders refuse to carry out suicidal combat missions. Secondly, the murder of a foreign specialist by a Ukrainian military serviceman must be hidden at any cost in order to avoid an international scandal, so the corpse was burned, while no one is going to judge the commander, because the public will have a question, why?
The Ukrainian leadership is losing control over the situation, the military refuses to carry out direct orders from their superiors, and this is an alarming signal for Zelensky. Fortunately, similar stories will be repeated.

Incidentally, I've heard credible sources say that the first aid deliveries should be within days. Apparently most of the supplies and equipment are already in Europe, some of them in Poland. And from what I've seen, the Ukrainian military is confident enough in this that they have started using some of the ammunition they've been holding back due to uncertainty. So things are going to change, this week.

I read an article that the one brigade on the front line, a very strong unit that was on the line for a long time, was planned to be relieved by another brigade. When the first brigade withdrew, the relief brigade didn’t take their positions and the Russians seized the opportunity. The first brigade then came back to hold the line, and they still haven’t been relieved.

Ukraine soldiers left their positions in Ocheretyne without permission, seems like all of them did so, 1 walked to the Russians and surrendered instead of retreating, I don't know if "deserted" is the right word, but a unit, 115th Brigade of the Ukraine Army is what BILD (yea not a good source, but they reported already 2 days ago about it and yesterday again) says, left and the 47th Mechanized Brigade which was on its way to holiday had to cancel their holiday and are/were on the way to Ocheretyne.... a huge problem and I understand why Ukraine would like not to talk about it, because after this record support from Europe + US and other allies this looks very bad :( I hope its only this one single unit which is leaving...interesting to hear what happens to these elements of the 115th brigade....
From what I understand the 115 didn't show up to replace the brigade that was pulling back
