'We were living outside while Russians were settling at our flats' - Russian occupation of Izium

- Break-ins into the apartments, broken windows and doors, no mobile communication, gas or water - all these and even more are the consequences of the occupation of Izium by the Russian invaders. The city had been under the occupation for six months before the Ukrainian military came in. Our soldiers say how happy the Ukrainians were to see them and that they were actually waiting for their rescue. The Ukrainian defenders continue their counter-offensive. There are 388 settlements in the Kharkiv region which have already been liberated by the Ukrainian army. Thus, the Russian occupiers have nothing to do than to abandon all their equipment and run away. The Russian ‘lend-lease’ still has a place to be. More details on the fleeing of the Russian army and consequences of their occupation of Izium you will hear further in our material.

What baffles my mind is the amount of hardware (Weapons, Tanks, Guns, Ammunition) that was left behind. Even if it's destroyed, that's valuable. Melt that ship down and make new ones. That's billions of dollars they abandoned. I guess nobody ever told those Russians the true amount it costs to build a tank.
They were probably out of fuel and scared so they split ASAP.
Soldiers who operate one know what a tank costs. The real problem for the Russian commanders is that many of their troops lack motivation; they don't believe in what they are fighting for while the Ukrainians do. So soon as it becomes really tough many of the Russians will just run, or if they cannot run they will surrender.
Russian soldiers are fighting with nothing on their minds but to remain alive and follow a lied orders. They were deceived by pootin, a liar. The Ukrainian are fighting for their independence, democracy and country. God bless Ukraine.
