Thanks for the comment. :D We had a great time cooking in London. Enjoy your bircher muesli tomorrow morning too. Have a great day.
I made this recipe last night with already cooked sweet potatoes from the night before (cut down on prep time). This was so incredibly flavorful and satisfying!!! I plan on using the leftovers to form a bigger patty for lunch today. This recipe is going on REPEAT!!!
Love it Jessica!!! You're brill! 😄🙌👌

Epic collab and those sweet 'tato falafel nuggets are brilliant! Great job guys
Thank you. They're a good hearty dish.
Sitting here making a list of recipe ideas for January - this is on the list!
These are absolutely gorgeous! Although I didn't have the tamari, spring onions, red onions, or fresh coriander and parsley, I substituted balsamic vinegar, half of a home grown white onion, and then dried coriander and parsley. I paired them with some grilled zucchini and squash and some carmelized onion with tomato, cucumber, lettuce....They were to-die-for!
And the sauce.... so lovely! Thanks for sharing this deliciousness!
Anna Jones Thanks for letting us know, we love hearing how people get on with the recipe. :D You recipe sounds delicious. :D

Always a good one to have in the arsenal. Thanks for watching.
I made this yesterday, and it was SOOOO good! My boyfriend could´t compliment it enough, he said it was the best thing we´ve had in a while, and kept going about how good it was. I must agree! Also, it left us comfortably satisfied. Had your healthy burritos on monday (and leftovers on tuesday, hehe), added some corn and cucumber, yummmm. Success! Excited about cooking up some more of your recipes. So glad I found your channel.

Love u guys!🇨🇦
Wow this looks so good. Its nice to see a slightly unconventional falafel recipe too, especially one that is low fat. I think I am going to try this today.
LlamasEatHotdogs How you enjoyed this. :D
After first bite: “That’s amazing!!! “ 😂😂😂
Very tasty 😋
You smashed that, well done. Another meal idea. Thanks lads. Must call in to greystones. I live not too far away!
YESsss! I am making red kidney beans falafel today. Will give these a go next week! They look amazing !
Excellent. Take extra care to cook your red kidney beans, they can be very poisonous to humans when they're not cooked enough.
YUM!
Just made these and my own flatbread to accompany- they tasted soo good! I think I needed to drain my chickpeas a bit more because the nuggets were pretty wet though. Nonetheless, the flavours were amazing!
It's so entertaining to watch you guys:-)
Hahahaha glad you think so! 😂😋
Just found your videos, so great! I'm a fan ;) Can you tell me what the red sauce is that you put on the Falafel
Yummy looks amazing! Definitely trying this later today I already have all the ingredients! :)
Nice one. Nothing better than already having everything in the cupboard. Let us know what you think of it.
I made the sweet potato falafel but put them in pitas instead, and with the tahini dressing it was amazing! Thank you so much for this recipe! I love your videos :)

You can use soy sauce. Thank you so much. Have a great day.
This looks unreal .. I will be down to get my ingredients Tommo yay .. Lucky Me living so close 💚🌎✌🏽️
Gonna make this 2nite. Is the recipe anywhere 4 me 2 follow. Also where do I get tahini & that red chilli looking little dish at the end. Love ur food guys. Well done.
Hi sorry I didn't realise we didn't have it in the information, I'll make sure it goes up tomorrow. For now here's the recipe from memory. You find tahini in any health food shop or we've seen it in some of the turkish supermarkets we've been in. You can find harissa paste in most supermarkets and health food shops. Really hope you enjoy the recipe. THanks for the comment.
2 large sweet potatoes
1 400g tin of chick peas
3 cloves of garlic
juice of half a lime
2 tbsp of tamari
coriander paprika salt and cayenne
4 spring onions
1 tbs cumin seed
1 red onion
1 bunch of coriander
1 bunch of flat parsley
dressing,
4 tbs tahini
juice of half a lime
8 tbs water
1 tbs honey
handful of mint leaves finely chopped
pinch of salt
Cannot wait to make this. Looks delicious. Vegan rocks.
Thanks for watching. You'll get a few dinners out of it, it keeps well in the fridge for a few days.
that looks orgasmic, you have just improved things that I don't usuall like like falafals and tahini sauce!!
I made these they tasted good but the consistency is basically that of mashed potatoes in a pita.
this looks delicious! what could you use to replace the sesame seeds with?
You could leave them out altogether if you don't like them. :D
HI THERE , YOU TWO MAKE ME FEEL LIKE I JUST HAVEN'T ATE ! IT'S REALLY AMAZING. IS YOUR BOOK AVAILABLE IN THE MIDDLE-EAST??
I'm not too sure, you can pick it up on amazon.
Boom!
damn this is something else
Looks amazing! 1)What book is this in? Is like to buy it. 2) what was the red sauce you put on at the end? Risa? Arissa? I couldn't hear it very well. I can't wait to make these!
Hi, sorry I keep forgetting to add the recipe to the info, it's;
2 large sweet potatoes
1 400g tin of chick peas
3 cloves of garlic
juice of half a lime
2 tbsp of tamari
coriander paprika salt and cayenne
4 spring onions
1 tbs cumin seed
1 red onion
1 bunch of coriander
1 bunch of flat parsley
sesame seeds
dressing,
4 tbs tahini
juice of half a lime
8 tbs water
1 tbs honey
handful of mint leaves finely chopped
pinch of salt
The red sauce is called Harissa, it can be bought in most supermarkets. Thanks for watching, let us know what you think. :D
Yay, just made it, just needs frying, but have an hour more till lunch. So excited, hope bf will love it, surely he will. Minor changes as no tamari or coriander, but I'm sure it's still epic! Love your channel! Please keep them coming! :-)
+Edina Kurdi Hope you enjoyed your lunch. :D
Looking forward to making this dish tomorrow for dinner for the family. Any tips on a great salad that would go with it or another side dish? Or is it plenty as a main meal? Can't wait to make and taste it! Thanks :))
It's a very hearty dish on it's own. we have a kale bean salad in our videos with a tahini dressing, that could work.
Oh it was plenty. We even had leftovers. It was so tasty. I'm going to spread the word here in Amsterdam :D
Thats great to hear, glad you enjoyed it. :D
Question, is your book available to buy anywhere in Canada?
I'm not too sure at this moment in time, you could check on amazon maybe?
Irish vegan channel!! Yay! Subscribed :)
all2sp Thanks so much for subscribing. :D
Nice and that guy is funy!🙊
amanda touch John is such a dude. :D
sweet potatoe is good for weight loss?
I love this channel but the audio is quite bad on a few of the videos which is odd as you all have lapel mics. It would be great if you could sort this for future ones. Keep up the good work!
Cheers for the feedback, on some of the older videos we were using our iPhone and the headphone mic to record our audio. It's pretty rough because it only had auto gain so it was really noisey. WE'll keep improving over time thanks for bearing with us.
Anyone know the name of the chili condiment? Was it just Chili chutney?
***** It's called Harissa. :D
You guys made me believe it was possible to be vegan and eat great food. Day eleven and counting!
In India, we call this tiki.
(Except for the sesami)
where can i find the recipe to this please
Hi sorry we forgot to put it in the info.
2 large sweet potatoes
1 400g tin of chick peas
3 cloves of garlic
juice of half a lime
2 tbsp of tamari
coriander paprika salt and cayenne
4 spring onions
1 tbs cumin seed
1 red onion
1 bunch of coriander
1 bunch of flat parsley
sesame seeds
dressing,
4 tbs tahini
juice of half a lime
8 tbs water
1 tbs honey
handful of mint leaves finely chopped
pinch of salt
And the red sauce at the end is Harrisa. Hope you enjoy it. :D
been racking my brain what to substitute cumin with I get nauseous if I eat anything with that spice in it. Anyone got any ideas?
Try caraway 😄😘🙌
thanks for your answer. Sadly caraway is even worse for me (we put it in some cheese over here )
What can be used instead of sweet potatoes? I have never seen them where I live. Will normal potatoes do? Or some other veg?
Butternut squash or kabocha pumpkin would be a good substitute. Where abouts are you watching from? :D
The Happy Pear Thanks for advice. I'm in Italy. Pumpkins and squashes are much easier to be found, for sure! :) Also because I prefer to use the local fruit and veg as much as possible.
Ah that's great, glad we could help. :D
Hey guys... Just wondering mine turned out abit wet do you know where I'm going wrong ??
Martina Mc Sherry Make sure you dry your chickpeas beforehand. For me, that is usually the problem.
do yee have a book?
+amanda byrne We do you can buy it on our website, www.thehappypear.ie :D
The Happy Pear sorry actually read your bio after and saw u had the website up so found it...must buy that tahini sauce now aswell looks amazing!
Yay for Irish vegans
Could I sub maple syrup for the honey? 🌯🌯
Laila Yeah, a liquid sweetner would work.
what is the sauce on 7:30?
It's Harissa, we have a recipe video for it on our channel. :D
totally didn't expect answer from you, I checked it out - definitely gotta try it one day
What's tahini?
It's ground sesame seeds. It's like peanut butter made from sesame seeds.
Tahini is sesame seed paste - trust us, it's AMAZING!
I know this is an old video, but I have to say that when you added the honey to the dressing, it's no longer a vegan recipe. Why not use maple syrup? If it's vegan honey (fake honey), then you need to say that in the recipe.
Happy Pear Guys: You're a very entertaining pair, and your spirit and liveliness are infectious. However, your recipes suck. Cooking the so called falafel in a dry pan does not allow your very interesting spices to bloom or the sweet potato to cook through.
a better choice would be to fry them in a bit of canola oil after first briefly steaming them in order to cook the yam. What do you think, Happy Pear?
AAH I love yer ak'sent gents.. I rally do.. and yer a bloody sexy pear for the eyes and the heart.. hugs & kisses to ya bott.. ;* Could you tell me what you spread on there just before ya added the sauerkraut.. Please and tank you very much my loves. :)
