🇨🇳 Chinese Peanut Butter Noodles TASTY $0.96 at the Yangshuo Bus Station in Guilin, China

- There are few foods more satisfying to both the stomach and the wallet than something like this "Peanut Butter Mixed Noodles" here for lunch today. We're in Yangshuo, Guilin, and in Southern China its the NOODLE that reigns supreme. Welcome to another day exploring cool and new local foods around China, thank you for taking time to hang out with us here!
Truly, there are many wonderful (and expensive) things to be found in Yangshuo, the Beer Fish being the most famous of the traditional Chinese menu items... but we are on a one-month long trip, and its also important to sometimes pay attention to a budget :) In my opinion though, meals like a "delicious lunch at the bus station" can easily match a more fancy meal in terms of memories, in terms of happiness, and I will never forget the simple delights a huge bowl of noodles (that goes for less then US1$) can offer.

Excellent video, Joel! About 20 years ago, I took a tour boat down the Li Li (hah! Yulong Li) from Guilin to Yangshuo. Waterfalls coming out of those karsts into the river were awing.

Man, a few days ago we had a livestream hangout from about 2 hours north of here, a really beautiful part of the north of Thailand, I was able to say hi to several of our original members (I guess how I think of it anyways), I thought of you for sure, many new/old names to see and it was just a good hangout... anyways :) Super cool that you are here writing on this video today, and wow, 20 years ago, a visit to this part of the world. Amazing. So good that idea is great, wow! Something funny about the Western versions of Asian foods is that there are always seems to be peanuts/peanut butter in everything (when here its actually pretty rare), BUT in this case, China surprised me :) And it was delicious like you said
