I love my HWK12. Everybody underestimates it. When played well it helps the team to melt the enemy. It can be so annoying for the other team. It is just fun.
it's so sad to see SIPC/HWK12 game play as I remembered how SIPC used to be a tank with specialty and actually fun to play with it's small size and 3 round clip

I feel you. Loved my old SPIC but I have to say the current HWK12 is insanely underrated. Personally I feel it is the best non-premium scout at T8 but the lack of flexibility makes it difficult and often counter-intuitive to play, hence the horrendous WR. Personally I sit on a 65% WR after 50 games, so I feel I still have things left to learn but it definitely has a lot of potential in the right hands. If you are willing to give this tank a chance and run it with a complete loadout (+chocolate makes a huge difference on this tank), it might just surprise you.
The superb view range at T8 means that with a pure scouting build (CVS, optics, vents) you get up to ~510m view range with chocolate or ~485m without. At that point you can spot anything but LTs at great distances even through bushes. What most players aren't aware of is that it becomes paramount to keep hidden from other LTs with better camo instead of trying to catch them as the HWK generally loses the range advantage once spotted. If any of you run into this problem switch the vents for exhaust for a bit more safety.

PS: The dilemma when facing other LTs is exactly what happens to QB in the video. In close proximity the HWK is often the one who gets caught out first or in a worse position. You won't win a 1v1 vs. most other LTs (less DPM, worse gun handling) and have a bigger profile with paper-thin armor making you a better target from a distance. Honestly I feel QB shouldn't have gone for such a heavily contested position at the start of the battle (which is what I mean with lack of flexibility) and instead should've gone to scout one of the flanks and only try to catch a glimpse of the scouts in the center from there.

Hey QB, I got a Bruno's Medal on my Rhm while playing with the 750 alpha gun ... even though that happened during update 1.12.1 I still remember never to remain behind that non-arty-safe rock when I get into that map again
I remember this foch battle from the stream, great job - and always remember, to finish enemy autoloaders, even if at 1 hp!

Totally agree with LT statement. Even with 1HP left, spotting is still an option. Out play enemy light tanks, and take control of the vision game.
Those light tank games are the most rewarding games. So much fun

I actually had this same thing happen to me yesterday where I lost most of my health to an fv4005 at the beginning of my match and it ended up being one of my best matches in my kranvan with 5 kills and 5500 damage
One of my best games in a Tiger 1 (actually the hero premium version the Hammer, which actually had slightly nerfed horsepower) was one were arty took 75% of my health at the beginning, killing 2 crew and destroyed 3 modules, forcing me to burn my premium repair and first aid kits at a time where they were single-use. 5K combined and a Kolobanov's medal at the end.

got a 9k dmg game in the m4 54 all while on a one shot the whole time. sometimes it rly just makes u play better

I’ve been playing off and on since it came out on the 360, I’m still pretty bad but it’s hilarious seeing modern players react to my old tank camos that you can’t get anymore.

Literally been happening to me also the past couple days. Just had to close the game and take a break, terrible games playing out with deaths immediately at the beginning. Killing average DMG. WOT kicking you in the face lol, great way to put it.
idk but i've been having same problems lately. but what i noticed was that everyone just want to camp at back and not contest early positions with me. so it helped when i started to camp for a little bit just to let my own team catch up. and doesn't matter if i play very slow tanks. most of the time my team just are so hesitant

Lucky you quicky I always get on a team of people who doesn’t understand gun depression and going over hills for a kill only to die themselves and costing us a match plus credits. These same scrubs also like to push into the enemy at what seems to be the new thing as fast as you can for another loss of credits cause team just disappears. I been playing for 10 years and it’s quite disturbing on the N. American server

Some of my best games have been after getting potatoed at the start. I made less mistakes after that while getting good damage later in the game.

Thanks, Quickybaby for all the entraining videos. I even jumped back in the game just to remind myself why I hate it so much. Ricochet! That didn’t penetrate! It bounced! And when you do get a hit, it does no damage. Then the fast light tank with the multiple gold piercing rounds does more damage to you then the last 10 games as a free player, I just don’t see the point in playing unless you put down the cash. If you do pay cash, that’s not a guarantee to win because of the extreme vast amount of players who have no idea how to play any of the maps. Thanks for the tips and fun videos but it just better to watch someone else play who can spend the money.

since the change to give everybody sixth sense i have had quite a few instances were it hasn't gone off even if i was spottet. (like at all, through the battle, so its not because of permaspot since it didn't go off a first time)
is there a problem with sixth sense? maybe on vehicles that didn't have it before or something?

The hwk 12 has the theoretical best view range, combined with some decent camo. You outspot all other tech tree light tanks
And then there is TVP who is a medium tank but still has better view range then all the spotters.
And than as your counter part on the other team is a lp432 with crasy good lt 100 crew and oblivious with a commanders vision system on its spotting slot and bond optics good luck to you
interesting claim so i decided to work out the math on this. (bia, recon, situational awareness, food, coated optics, vents, and low noise exhaust, camo paint). an lhmtv will spot the hwk at 280.55 meters while the hwk will spot it at 274.2 assuming it's an open field. its a very negligible interaction as in an open field, the lhmtv could blindly close that 6 meter gap in a split second. of course it is different when one of them is in a bush but comparing light tanks head on is sort of redundant in this matter since the one in a bush will always outspot the other all things equal. if anything, it is better to have more camo compared to view range because of your interactions with other tanks such as heavies where they are likely to be spotted at 445m anyways but the added camo will make the difference between you being spotted at 230 m (lhmtv) compared to 258m (hwk) while assuming enemy has 445m view range.

Recently had a game where I accidentally flipped my Char Mle. 75 seconds into the game, had a team mate flip me back costing their life then I got put down to 10% hp all within first 2 min. I dig deep to pay back my teammates sacrifice and ended up carrying the game and getting 5 kills.

When the anonymizer first came out, you were really against it. Glad it provides utility for you and other content creators though. I couldn’t even imagine having teams that always knew me before the battle even starts. It’d be brutal
I find it hilarious when a total nobody uses anonymizer, like nobody know them and for some reason they also like to hide LOL.

@@rodhales9536 it is only while in battle to prevent toxic chat conversations and intentional poor play due to a player or team’s stats. It doesnt prevent player stats from being hidden after battle. Seems like I was right due to the comment from the guy above this. Still, it was a pretty rude way of informing us. . .

Hey QB! Can you talk about keeping your focus on the game when something like this happens? I recently understood that when you are on a loosing streak, whitch on a EU3 and 4 is a normal thing, I loose concentration on a game. I make bad descisions, when I log into a game I automatically think that we are going to lose and so on. How to keep your shit together and save the situation?
Just put feelings aside.
Aim, shoot, wait, rush when needed, you dont need to get upset or angry at a game after all.

That just goes to show ya how much about tactics and surviving a battle some of the players know,QB has 25hp in a not so good LT and these guys,like that one guy who demands QB get out from behind the rock,what’s he expect QB to do with 25 hp? Or idk,maybe I’m wrong and QB should’ve been doing more with a more crowded battlefield,more enemies = higher probability of death,less enemies = higher probability of not death ☠️😁

i felt the same when playing the hwk 30, it has maybe bit better gunhandling ,but camorating is just as trash
@Quickybaby What is your loadout and commander skills for the HWK12? I feel that with the right loadout you should've been able to spot the Tiger II at 13:40 and maybe even get an earlier spot of the B-C12t at the start of the battle.

My friend and I had a game like this, I forgot to swap out of my full HE loadout in the bourrasque and we found ourselves in a 2v10
Somehow I juked artys, dodged shells like Neo and got incredibly lucky acting as a pseudo tank for my friend while he did all of the damage
We spent at least a half hour laughing at the replay, counting up the number of shots the enemies missed on me
i respect the Foch for using his brain instead of golds
This is one of the reasons, of why I stopped playing. Eachtime a famous Streamer was on my Team, everyone wanted only to chat and not to play ! And eachtime I lost because of that ! Sadly...

Honestly curious: Why camo the body of the tank, and not the turret? I have seen many people do this and don’t understand.
Camo in the body do the job. In the turret is pure aesthetic and not really needed.

@@jerrylangford2991 It is a way to save camo and use it in other tanks (in their "bodies"). But after some time playing you will have camo for all parts of all them.
Yeah yeah, the usual. A sufficiently talanted player can reliably pull off a decent game from 10% hitpoints. Or indeed, when required, to just play the game almost normally without getting hit even once. Fun to watch.
