Correction: Hull armour was nerfed when it was made into a HD model. Instead of E 100 heavy tank armour on the hull, it now has the same values of the G.W E 100.

Imma be real, id rather get absolutely demolished in the arse by this thing instead of watching a minotauro doing the same amount of damage, while he is on a ridgeline, shooting me for 10 minutes. Fightng a wtf e100, i at least have a chance of dealing some damage back.
Or fv sitting behind bush entire game doing nothing than 1 shotting your e5 or vz or something... It also can bounce you, you also can escape between shells if you approached carefully and so on... It's op tank but it's not toxic like mino or FV's, that's main difference.
@@ust7915 100% agree, although yes the fv gun can be a troll, at least this thing isn’t a guaranteed 1 shot (or near enough) it still has to hit and pen multiple shells to kill - and as for the minotaro well….on a ridge played properly it’s a nightmare to fight against in anything without flanking
I expect this to be "sold" as part of one of the 100 different black market/auction events they have now sometime in the next 6-12 months.
Probably for like a billion credits or million bonds.
Though I could see it's stats slightly changed from what's on the server right now

I think it goes to one of those deals first come first serve with the special numbered edition type of tanks like that OBJ 780 was I think it was the Assembly shop event where like the first 15k get a 3D skin that's numbered etc and the remaining just get the basic looking one.

I think that in a game with minotauro and cobra the WT auf E100 would fit normally, this battle was one of a kind, usually they get deleted by arty or HE rounds

this tank has been nerfed to the max to return to the way you see it because a lot of it has been modified: the hull is only 80mm, it is not as accurate as before, and the 150mm gun has been removed, etc...

Yep. I had one in my team yesterday in a tier X battle on mines. He was spotted crossing the river and got deleted in a minute. He was so tall and big there was no place for him to hide.
I stilll remember how Circon actually did a 4k+ HE dmg clip with the 150mm gun on Ruinberg back in the day. Pretty lucky, but the more hilarious it was :)
I haven’t seen a Circon video in at least a year. Does he still make CZcams videos or only stream on Twitch?

@@brhop1982 yeah, he was taking a break, due to some personal reasons (mental health & family issues), but he did talk about bringing back the YT channel after twitch announced the new rev split changes.
On Console the 128 mm got reduced from 6 -> 4 Shots and has a 48 second base reload and the 150 mm has 3 shots with a 40 second base reload
Yup was about to coment the same thing it went from useable to useless this tank as no cammo so it will pretty much get detected across the map and get one shot in early game and the only fun thing it had was the 6 shots now if u see anyone using it is because he was trying to convince himself that isnt still trash
The tier 8 Iron rain on console is pretty much the same thing but way better camo
@@fazeBanana5511 Yeah Iron Rain is OP with 6.0 due to the Crew Skills Rebalance. For PC players, it's a 3 shot Borsig with 490 Alpha.

Yeah it's crap. I spent ages grinding it only for them to nerf it into the ground. It's completely redundant, gets spotted instantly, everyone knows to spam HE and any sort of hit to the turret will damage the gun. Yeah if you're clueless you could get clipped but it's unlikely now in the current meta. Then they introduce complete retard tanks like the Taran and buff the E4
WG has messed up the meta so hard that this tank actually fits in now. It brings more relevence to lights and strategy in general to dig them out.
as someone that used to play WoT on console for about 6 years and around 15k battles. a lot of the time Waffle E-100's would get deleted pretty early in game from either artillery or everyone and i mean everyone would see it trundling across from spawn and load up HE for free damage.
Same, it's literally a glass cannon.

Console has fewer bushes so it is difficult to hid the massive turret. I almost never see them anymore.
This tank isn’t actually as op as you think if tanks like the Chieftain exist in the game. You just go hull down or just catch it offguard and just spam HE at it and it will die in like 5 seconds
Yeah but also it is. If it's on a big map behind a chieftain itself hulldown and you can't spot it....it can deadstop your progression just by existing on a flank

I remember when that thing had a 6-shot magazine. Absolutely insane. Basically a squadron of Jagdpanzers but a smaller overall target.

I miss my WTF E 100. I didn't have it too long before it was replaced by the Grille 15.
I had it for a month, almost stopped playing cause idiots removed it from the game, fuck Grille.

With all the new tanks that were introduced post WTFE100 removal and a meta switch I don’t think this tank is as OP as it used to be
It wasn't even "OP". That's beside the point. It was and still is "broken". As QB said, it's toxic. It's way too situational. It grinds the gameplay to a halt when you know one's camping somewhere. (it's a camping TD caricature)
I free XP'd the 6-shot one back in the day and it was just a meme. You could roll on a flank. Take one hit. Dish 6 out. Rinse & repeat. Die and have 5k damage while having played like a complete moron. You'd still lose but you ruined people's games. It was funny but it had to stop, jeez.
Still, before WT banned the Low Tier fighting Tier X, a platoon of fast moving Pz.III C with its machinegun could tear its health half, just for the laughs for how toxic OP 'Waffer-trager' E-100 (The previous meme name before 'WTF E-100')

@@Minto107 Which is why most of the players then knows how and where to shoot Waffer-tragers are, until it got banned for being too OP despite the nerfs.
If it was added suddenly into the ranks and a vet Waffer gunner could hold such auto-loading gun, it'll decimate the battlefield even with the highest tiers or considered 'strongest' tanks in the game in matter of seconds.
Unlike before, the HE right now isn't that potent, it can damage the internal compartments and knockout crews, Arty before can nearly oneshot the Maus which has the highest HP before and can easily erase the Waffer. Instead in most RNGs, Arty always hits the Waffer's tracks or hull, but rarely the turret.
FOR SOME REASON, arty before had low accuracy when in close range and was always prominent of the Toxic OP Tank Destroyer.
That thing is a piece of mockery to the other tanks, EVEN TODAYS. It is slower, easy to spot and couldn't see much, yet it kills you and your team nonetheless in just one or two clips in the upfront battle.
It's probably the arguably strongest TD in the WOT's history.
By means kill your team is a platoon, unless the Waffer wasn't nerfed and still had its E-100 ridiculous gun. Your platoon is doomed if you're not prepared to face it upfrontally.
It was used as a HT, due to its hard hull could easily bounce a IS-7 shot at the lower plate.
I did experienced it, with my trusty E-75, only to realize i died in three shots and i panicked shot that monster, hit anything but its soft turret. I was planning to grind that tank but before that happened, it was gone already, couldn't taste that kind of power again.
If it came back permanently I'd consider playing again. In the current meta I think something like this is needed to mix things up, maybe we could see more 10+ minute games again if people have to start thinking before they rush forward.

It would definitely stop pushes, but the average WoT players can't even think further than their view range.

- how is this different from the current state of the game anyway? 99% of players in a match are afraid to move more than 10 meters regardless of what they are facing.
why would you want 10 min + games of sat doing nothing I rather 3 games of 3 mins
WT auf E100 was a scary thing that time. It was the guaranteed death for anything in tier 8+9 and most in tier 10 that was unlucky enough to face it 1 on 1. But when it not managed to kill you it was the most satisfying target while on reload :)

If they do bring this tank back, and they will, then anyone who had the tank before should be given a way to obtain it. Otherwise many of us WT E 100 owner will be very angry. This tank would be a reason for me to return to the game for a while.

This is why I argued that the 4 shot 15cm config (with 5 second intraclip) make more sense. Slightly longer unload, but the impact for every shot is incredible, let alone 4.

What is even scarier is. This tank is 5 years out of the game! And its still has bad ass as it was when it was in the game full time.
A JPE lower glacis and 60TP lower glacis bounced my full clip between them today - we only won because the WTE next to me penned every shot of the 15 he fired.
6:21, what other tank can deleted a obj 704, hmm. Both versions of FV with their 183mm barrel. WT E100 is decent among other tanks that delete other full hp tier 10's. That aside, i agree that because its burst is segmented into clips its the very best at shutting down 3 or 4 tanks in quick succession assuming they are spotted outside the reloading window.
u forget, that in context, he killed the entire 704 seconds after finishing their WTE off. 183 cannot do that
It also had the most accurate gun in the entire game, and now only a couple of vehicles have a gun with better accuracy. Not to mention that this beast had 6 shells in the magazine. The FVs can't hold a candle to the mighty Waffle.
And the funny thing is that, WTF E100 is having hard time penetrating T8 italian vipera turren with normal ammo from the front.

I didnt miss this thing when it was pulled. I made a serious error trying to spot them in my M48A1 Patton back then, only to get out spotted tracked and clipped. Before it was pulled, WG nerfed it and gameplay was freed up, I spam HE at it's turret to maximize damage and critical hits.

This tank just does not have the impact that it used to. While the damage in this replay looks like a lot, this tank didn't even make it into the first 20 pages of the replay website for this patch alone. If we are judging by damage, then sorting by damage, the AMX M4 54 has three of the top five damage games for this patch and six total entries on the first page, and nobody is calling the AMX OP.

On WOT Console, the WT E100 is a normal Tech Tree tank, that splits off at the WT auf Pz VI, where the Grill15 is x amount of xp away, and the WT auf E100 is like 40, 50k exp after the Grille 15

The WT E-100 never left console and I also love all the people who yell at you for sitting in the back, especially in a tank that's known as being broken it's so good.

I mean, while this does showcase the tank and what it can do for those who weren't around for it... I do wish a less toxic player's replay was available. This guy spamming target requests and screaming orders in chat was just a solid reminder of everything wrong in this game. The other 14 players on your team are not there to service YOU. It's nice when they work together with you but do not assume that will be the case or that it's required.

Back when I played and these came out I had some of the best 183 games ever.
I really did love my E100 before it was stripped away from me like so many others. I had two friends that had one as well and we would run a platoon. Needless to say we could hold up an area of the map because no one wanted to risk eating the shells that they would have to deal with.
I hear QB reviewed chems wt video. I wasnt sure if this was chems unti I saw the climbing.
the WT auf E-100 sounds like its made to counter the Foch duo (Foch B and Foch 155) in terms of autoloader potential
literally everything counters the Foch tanks, they are still bad.

My first game out, got killed by 2 shots from a Sheridan and an arty shot 🤣, 2nd game was Himmelsdorf and I couldn't pen the turrets of anything as there was hull down tanks everywhere. . 3rd game got lit up on campinovka while leaving the cap by an ebr and was dead in less than 30 seconds after the game started 🤣
Also. I think this was potentially a Chem's Alt. Its on his channel as if its his replay.

Yes, because even without the WTE100 we don't have toxic tanks that 'stop' the game anyway.
When half of any match is riddled with Vz's, Mino's, FV4005's, 279e, chieftain etc etc etc is not 'game-stopping' or toxic.. then nothing will ever be toxic to this game...
To be honest the fv4005 isn’t really much of a problem.

Also forgot to mention how the wt had it's hp nerfed from 2200hp to 2000hp, this allowed deathstars to actually be able to 1shot it
I was enjoying shooting it with HE shells.
It was food for my T49 back then.
Right when I got all the creds and exp, they switched this over to the Grille 15.
They could added back as theres a lot of counter for its own stats
But at the same time it might not a good idea for them to actually reintroduce it just yet, these rentals probably a live public testing just for them to see how it performs on randoms
oh the rentals are.most definitely wg testing to see how it does. I won't be surprised at all if next year we see it in a similar thing to what they did with 780.
Just recall the old time, both side has ternary WT E100 or even more, new player has no idea the true meaning of "Searching and Destroy".

the good thing about wTF E 100 is , it can make game probably back to the full 15 minutes ( camping coz scared ) / but will see if its gonna make less 15-0 simulator or not
I like how all these CC’s act as if every WT E100 is so toxic. They are easy to hit and hard to hide. On top of that they are out of the fight for almost a whole minute after going to reload. It is probably the most balance this game has with extreme both ways. Not everyone who plays one can do this btw. Those who can do this can most likely do this in nearly all tanks too.

Happy to say I killed four of these the first day they came back. Three in my T44-100 medium. All you have to do is keep an eye out for when they are wounded and reloading and then just get behind and peck then to death.
No Wt E100 in game anymore, but they brought the Cobra on tier 9. Logic by WG.

I managed a 7K game my first day, took a few games to get used to its unique play style, but it a rewarding tank to play correctly.

The main point is, it doesn't make the tank OP or toxic when we have 279e and chief running around... I continu to be baffled that this tank, the WTE100 is that preverbial stroke that crossed the line.

I vaguely remember a platoon of these rocking the 15cm and only firing HE and absolutely pissing the living shit out of the enemy team. Vid was so hilarious
This thing excels when it's being fed and can remain safe and unspotted. It gets destroyed when it gets spotted, I dropped a 1100 HE into one yesterday using intuition on my E4 and he did 0 damage that game. QB is right though that the mere existence of one on a flank changes how people play, they won't want to push that flank until he's dead, unless they're really oblivious like the people in this replay were and just kept feeding him on the east flank.
If they are having us retrain a crew and nerfing the armor, then my thought is the old girl will be returning to the game in her new deminished state.

Just got my rental with the keys,I was also shocked to find out you can't put your normal crew in as it's not a reward vehicle so uou have to spend 1200 gold retraining crew then the same again to train them back to whatever tanks you took them from 🙄
