Truth be told, I sent in a clip of me in my M53/55 pulling a clutch match with a borrasque against a jadgtiger, skorpion, and AE Phase 1 (or was it a concept 1 b, one of them) to Jingles, but it was just before he went on holiday break. Was hoping it could be used in a Why You Heff to be Mad compilation. I remember someone sent in a clip that Jingles used that was sent to him by someone else, who I think was you.
Fun fact: The nerfed WTF E100 would fit into the current t10 meta just fine and would be a great counter for all the reward tank madness.
funfact, the game currently is way more broken, unbalanced and pay to win than it was with that tank in the game, people think the WTF E-100 was bad, but the whole game in general is a far-far worse than it was 7 years ago
I only dream one day WG will bring apocalypsis to the hull down meta, nerfing all the hill campers and buffing the speedy vehicles to switch to a mobility and flanking meta
@@mastrorick it needs to be balanced, if that happens then the game doesn't progress, no one wants 3 minute battles, we need the hulldown tanks to have proper weakspots so they can't just camp hull down, also, most maps have convenient rubbles for russian heavies to hide their hull
the game needs to be balanced around regular ammo, not gold, some tanks bounce a shitton, but when gold is loaded they just become butter, which is a shit policy

Try the Badger. It has 356mm of SLOPED armor that gets punched right through easier than Obj 277 side armor. It's fricking BS at how that tank gets fricked so hard.
i feel so nostalgic when i see old videos featuring from matchmaking vanished maps :D so many awesome maps were removed, like dragon ridge or south coast ;(
I think it's just nostalgia because a LOT of people complained about those maps. I wish they brought them back in some way

Komarin was a shitshow
alot of the maps today have been reworked to be balanced for both sides even Komarin and Pearl River was given a chance to be brought back, what I don’t understand is why they never bothered reworking the maps like dragon ridge, port, south coast, severogorsk, swamp, windstorm, north west and hidden village.
Whats surprising is that in the second game there was only ONE tier 8 premium tank...truly a better time.
In the early days, WG's general philosophy about premium tanks was that they had to be slightly worse versions of their non-premium counterparts (or about as powerful as them) and their sole purpose was to make more credits because they had a higher multiplier.

@@zorkan111 don’t forget about the premiums with the better Matchmaker. Like the super Pershing only being able to up tier once. Honestly would have rather seen that then what we got now. Tier 7.5 tanks that start at 8 and only can go up to 9

I fel like even now there is no tank that comes even close to how toxic that thing was. Even shit like the borat are not that bad. This thing is basically "Is it loaded? Then it will delete at least one tank rushing it. Is it currently reloading? Then it is a free farm if it is alone".

@@zumpicekdavid1 Foch B has ~1000 Damage less in its magazine and its dispersion is quite a bit worser. 279 is a rare tank, WT was a tech tree tank. 279 is easier to pen frontally than a 60 TP. 60 TP can only be penned into the lower plate and the drivers hatch. (non gold) 279 can be penned into like 60% of the upper hull all by Jgpz. E 100. EBR is fast, true and also has some bullshit wheels. It still isn't the one ripping apart two tanks per magazin.
@@TheNeonwing you forget about FV4005 and FV215b (183) - Oneshotting even many tier X tanks, which additionally is only possible with gold rounds. QB made a video a while ago and showed how incredibly toxic those tanks are. No matter how bad you make the rest of the tank, a tank with that huge alpha and penetration stays just flatout broken.

I loved the anniversary server a few years back. Playing on the old patch with limited view range and no 6th sense was amazing.

In the current meta this tank would't even be that overpowered as it used to be.
It would just take an arty shell every 15-20 seconds and have a permanent dead gunner and loader. . It actually had aweful pen so it used to struggle to pen any heavies frontal.

Its out of Meta, like most pure autoloaders nowadays. I can not get in prolonged closecombat fights and will bounce the new Hulldownmonsters.
@@paleasaghost-5799 I mean those autoloaders either got nerfed hard like the Foch B and Foch 155, have shite accuracy, shite pen, turretless,bad dpm, or doesn't have a clip that can kill even the most healthiest tank in the game but I mean I think wargaming could work around that giving the wt ausf pz e100 extremely limited turret traverse and really bad accuracy like how they nerfed Foch 155 which got it some cool nicknames with stuff like the 750 DPM autoloader but if you don't it like that way we could make it a clan wars vehicle so yeah those two options would be nice enough to reinstate it back into the game so that there wouldn't be problems where people load full gold and run it on ranked.
I know the tank was incredibly toxic and over powered, but man it was so much fun to play. I’d love to see a version of it return to the game that fits the current status of the game better than it did back then.
With power creep it almost isn't OP anymore. Limit the turret traverse and drop it to 4 shots. Reduce the alpha a small bit, done.
Well, the gamemode it had was fun, I won every single time where it was me vs 8 people, I dont like relying on a team
Keep it's base. Replace tracks with indestructible wheels? Top speed of 90km/h. o/ From what I remember the WTF E 100 was something annoying. But satisfying to spam with HE when found.
@@magscorch7706 the game mode was fun, but it’s nowhere near the same as playing like you see in the video here. I remember matches where this thing tore apart an entire team. I had a couple of matches like that in it, too.

The fact that the WTF e100 was so good at 1v1s. The god awfull turret didn't matter when you clip a full hp tier 10 heavy, in the time it takes them to reload. The trades were just so good.
First 30 seconds of the video is so nostalgic, these were simpler times haha. Looking at the leaderboards and I can actually recognize all of the tanks for once and remember all of their statistics which helped to outplay them.
I remember creating my account and going to CZcams to find tips and tricks back in 2013 and finding you and jingles as the world of tanks CZcamsrs I watched constantly. And now it's years later still watching both of you and still playing the game learning new things everday

I thought they were fun to play against, loved spotting them, and watching everyone who could, shoot at them, until they died, back when the t10 arty’s could one shot people if lucky, and most times do horrendous amounts of damage. Also the ISU-152 were nasty too, they used to have the 704’s gun as the top for them.
What pissed me off about them taking that gun away, is the fact they turned around only 1.5 years later to try and sell it back to me. Rather than giving one to everyone who had one in their garage when they took it out of the game, to then sell it back, is the height of greed and "pay-to-win" they are pushing on this allegedly 'free-to-play' game.
Ah, the infamous BL-10. Used to be one of the most feared guns in the game.
I miss the old ISU with the BL-10, was my first t8 TD 😔
Same deal, these tanks were actually pretty darn easy to counter due the fact they REALLY didn't like HE. Guaranteed you would kill at least one crew member or damage one part if you shot at the thing with the IS-7's HE rounds.
I"ll never forget clipping a E-100 crossing the bridge on mountain pass 100-0 with this beast
You know what surprises me the most in this history throwback? The "meta" tanks have not changed that much since those days, except for tanks that did not exist at the time. Unfortunately I was a noob at the WTF time, and only sneak peeked the WTF100 in the tech tree, and as for a lot of the tanks I was grinding at the time, once I reached the tank I was grinding for, it was either removed (WTF100) or nerfed.
Cool to see this in action though.
Welp, most of the time in the history of WoT, the meta was about having armor on a reasonably mobile platform with a good gun. So no wonder the meta didn't seem to evolve much since those old times. The only BIG change in meta (and it was not a good one sadly) was the introduction of the wheeled vehicles (initially driving at 105kph top speed) and possibly the annoying stun mechanic. Again, both terrible additions to the game and its pace.

Honestly I never minded fighting these things even if I never bought one. Sure they could deal a lot of damage but more often than not people would load HE and kill them before they could even unload. I much preferred having that massive turret sit in the open for 10s to unload to the FV 215b 183 one shotting you and running. The WT probably wouldn't even be that good in the current meta of WoT.
It did have way to much impact on gameplay, it could simply block whole areas of maps on it's own. Plus no tank should be able to take out a maus in one go.
The 183 is a toy compared to this. The waffel basicly was double shot 183, taking all your hitpoints and then taking your friends hitpoints as well.
It would still be toxic to the game, it would just have a lot more competition for the toxicity crown these days.

This is sooooo nostalgic, the tank sounds, the graphics and the gun sounds were the best in my opinion. Wish they would run a server with any pre 9.14 version of the game lol.

I remember clan wars with this (pre-nerfs), just setting up a whole bunch of them to farm the entire enemy team.
Keep posting these old school WoT replays, QB! I found some of my own old replays too. Some good nostalgia there. Too bad I didn't keep all of them over the years.
The win ratio is just about the average, because there were so many of them in the game there would be several on the winning and losing team every battle.

i really dont. it was my first tier 10. i remember how it was, 10% of the games were super fun when you one-clipped someone in the open, 90% of games you got spotted and everyone piled HE shells on you and you died instantly. It really was a one trick pony and it was only fun the first game and painful for all the others that followed.
Also i still remember when a T92 arty one-shotted me for 2000 dmg. not a fun time.

I seem to remember a T95 video on South Coast where either you, or the person in the replay, sat in the OP northern position. It's insane how seeing this map can remind me of old videos I haven't seen for many many MANY years.
I’ve always maintained that this tank wasn’t OP enough to justify its removal. The turret and mobility reminds me of the 4005. All gun, nothing else. I think an intra-clip nerf would’ve been appropriate but this tank is legendary.
While this tank was an absolute monster, I do remember shooting HE at this tank in the IS-7. Man, that felt good.
One shooting it with my t92 was fun too xD

@@harveywilde6781 It might've been horrible for the majority of the tanks classes, but I do remember playing light tanks back then on that map... Oh boi, that map felt so good with how open it seemed, with not that many corridors. A bunch of meds and heavies fighting in the middle and the rest of the team camping on both sides. It was a light tank's job to spot the enemy's campers and wreak havoc in their defenses. Good ol' days...

I would like to see an EBR running arround WT or any other tier X LT.Because back in days there were only tier VIII LT,and that ia the reason why WT auf E100 wouldnt be OP
At that time my highest tier was is3 , This thing tortured me multiple times.

Made me realize that’s it’s been over 10 years since I started playing WoT. Kinda forgot how long ago this tank came out. What a beast it was.
I remember always using the 150 gun with full HE loadout back in the day, played it like an autoloading KV-2.
Sidescraping enemy IS-7? Just sling HE into the side, easy 200 dmg per hit. Enemy WTe100? Hit the turret for 1k. AMX ELC 500m away? Become the finger of god and make it explode.
Was there ever a time the AMX ELC bis met tier X while the WT E100 was around? Maybe only via a fail platoon, tier V + tier X.
@@thunder7135 there was a time back before tier 7-10 light tanks were added that tier 5-6 light tanks had greatly increased matchmaking. I believe the tier V lights like ELC and Chaffee effectively had tier VIII matchmaking. Their job was just to be the scout for high tier games.
I think both the WTe100 removal and added light tank tiers happened around 5-6 years ago.
I stopped playing after this beast left the game. Ever since then I never enjoyed the game. I wish I could play a tank similar to this.

On console we have it still and have tier 8 premium that's similar called iron rain is bosig with 3 clip that does about 490 shot

I loved this thing, still holds my highest damage done at a little over 8k. I didn't get it super fast so I think it was right after the first nerf.
On a side note, I hated the Grille and was super pissed about the swap, still have it in my garage, haven't played it in year.

I miss my wt e100. The events wargs,I got runs with the sci-fi version are no substitute. They should have just done what they did with the badger and give the wt e100 as a premium to anyone who had it unlocked when it was in the game
And nerf it atleast to 3 or 4 shells
I mean, it's still a tech tree vehicle on console. I'm pretty sure they also buffed the reload on both guns LOL
it was removed cause it was OP, not because it didnt fit the line.
I could go to console and grind up the German to line again but I don’t have that kind of time and don’t find the console version fun enough to play that much. I stopped playing the pc version because of wargaming’s constant bs and them constantly making the game worse in my opinion. The death star also was removed because it did not fit the tech tree and the Foch 155 was also removed but they gave us both of those as premiums. I would have been content for them to nerf it and make it a premium like those examples but they didn’t. Plus I always have played on the us servers as I live in the USA but there are so few players I often cannot find games for anything under tier 6 which is a problem if you are a collector and you enjoy playing all of your premiums of all different levels. The game for pc is slowly dying and has been for some time at least in the USA. No new players joining means no new low tier and that means the games population is shrinking.

I missed this game where prem tanks are just credit earners, those high damage per round are glass cannon as compensation. SPG are good support damagers and lastly, there is the feeling of alertness if you are on the red you are probably 1 hit by spg on td mode. i also remember spg can actually passive scout if they are not moving. that is why if towards the end of the battle and only spgs are left suddenly they move like normal tanks or KV2 accuracy. right now everything can out spot the spg that trying on a spg is worthless might as well accept your fate = dying or what others do drowning,

The square rendering range, the South Coast map. Damn, it's all coming back to me. Somehow I can remember these things quite well, although I was a bit of a potato back then.
The second battle looked a bit familiar and as soon as I saw that IS-7 ram I was 100% sure I saw it before! It looks like you featured it on Dec 4th 2014 as well (World of Tanks || Waffentrager Auf E-100 - Heartbreak).

Hated seeing this tank on the other team. I never got to tier 10 to have one, but it was memorably op
that 6 mag autoloader with 2 sec intraclip reload with a powerful gun blast sound brings added intensity. Managed to buy this tank and absolutely loved this
This is i think also the time where dispersion was very accurate so rng was closer to the center before it became more evenly spread. Imagine how much longer this tank would stay in the game if people just do tracking damage

Never forget it. I popped around the base of a mountain and there, in my face, about 50 meters away was the WTF. He clipped out my FULL HEALTH E100 heavy tank in the time it took to say 'get bent'.
I was SO glad when that thing was removed, along with 99% of the player base who were ecstatic as well.

South Coast was my highest damage game on my account for a long time. 5+ years with my IS-7 game on this map had the highest. Since then have hit 10-11k multiple times with newer and more meta tanks obv

Dang; South Coast brings back so many memories. . . whipping around that rock on the beach full blast to make it all the way to the beachside approach to the south spawn, or playing the field in the north. . . what a great map.

Best memory of this tank was when i was in my IS-4, 2 WT-E100's came around the corner on me. First shot tracked me, but it tracked me at an angle, 1 or 2 shells penned me, and the remaining 9 or 10 shells are bounced off the lower plate (because of the extreme angle). I did not think it was possible to see your life flash before your eyes in a game
