I sycophantically worship MMA Joey's reviews. I started listening to them instead of my Creed CDs while I'm folding my lawn chairs, cause they are actually BANGERS! They slap harder than Dana White slapped his wife that one time (in a club in Mexico, at 53 years old) after which they stretchered her out with no serious injuries. They get me so pumped that I just wanna go out there and beat up my brother for not doing shit after I paid him 300 bucks! (Only reason I'm not gonna do it tho is cause I gotta fight someone who's a better matchup for me in order to keep some semblance of a meritocracy)

This cards about a 4.5 or 5. Maybe a 6 if the main event is somewhat competitive and goes longer than 2 rounds. But the card as a whole atleast a 5, there are some decent fights on the prelims.
UFC match making is so fucked right now. lol just got to focus on the the silver linings. I just want to see Islam fight. Dustin gets a shot as an underdog. What’s not to like?

U can't use razor close and robbery in the same sentence, but everything else u said was probably correct

Forget the fact that Dustin doesn't deserve a title shot, my issue is that this fight is simply not something I'd consider competitive. This is the first legit 155'er that Islam is defending against, and they put him up against a predominant striker.
Islam has had a weird title reign. I mean, champion since 2022 and two title defenses against a featherweight, and an easy defense against Porier.

Holland a fan favorite. Love seeing him on cards win or lose. He’s entertaining and entertainment brings money. I’d much rather have Holland being entertaining and showing up for a paycheck than some boring Dagestan fighter hugging some dude for 15 min.

I have to disagree about Porriers title shot being undeserved. His loss wasn’t a brutal “legal” KO. I think Arman has a more deserved shot but timing is everything too.

Whenever Islam fights it is always a 10/10, the rest of the card is good not great. The co-main event will be good if they don't cancel it if Costa fails to show up!

Obviously boring . UFC is loosing my attention. The cost per ppv and the quality of fights are not exactly what I’m looking for. I definitely think Colby c , Connor m , are very old news, and not worth the investment of my hard earned buck. I’m not convinced that going forward after witnessing some terrible robberies, through officiating, and some extreme disrespect and discrimination with Dana w controversy, and I definitely dislike Joe r , the whole thing is loosing my draw. I can be honest and say I really enjoy listening to mmajoey commentary, during the fights. I always mute the tv, and link up the times . I’m grateful for Joey to commentary.
