For manys a year

On Enniscrone Beach.
There'll be Taxis and Buses
A Teapot, a Train.
But the jewel in the crown
Is the Aeroplane!

It's been all the talk
For many months passed
From Tallaght to Toronto
And in Sheridan's Kilglass!
The locals are buzzing
Sligo is in a flap!
David McGowan has put
Enniscrone on the map!
They said No Way- Never

Will McGowan get that plane
Onto Enniscrone Shore!
And now it's upon us,
David's dream's coming true
Such a crowd out to see it
