guys we are all going to get our dream scores on the may sat
I sure hope so-I'm pulling for all of you!
These videos have definitely helped me! I got a 690 on my last practice test (that I just took today), increased 30 points from the march SAT.
I am SO GLAD to hear that. That's the exact goal of these videos-to help students like you.
ur doing great job boss! and those little jokes to make it fun a lil bit fun just astonishing! love u sm
Thank you so much! If I don't joke around, I get bored-so I do my best to keep us both entertained. 🤓
great video!!! lt helps a lot.
Glad it helped!
please make more of these!
We will certainly do our best! Are you taking any additional exams after the one coming up in June?
Good vid bro!
Glad you enjoyed!
ty!
You're welcome!
Useful video, bro thanks you so much
You're very welcome; I'm glad it was helpful.
than you for everything, tmrw is my test and im so nervous, wish me luck
I wish you luck. Make sure to pack everything tonight-one less thing to think about tomorrow. You got this!
@@RevolutionPrep I just came back from the test, it was a bit hard, but I managed to answer all of the questions
Nice!
thank you
You're welcome!
thanks👍
Welcome 👍
Wish me luck, Im taking the test this May 4th
Hope it went well!
I'm 100% confident I didn't get any english questions wrong first module and maybe 1 or 2 in the second one. Math COOKED me, not module 1 though, that one was like 80% desmos, but module 2 was so hard and so much constant questions.
Nice work in English! Were you able to use the Desmos slider for those constant questions?
@@RevolutionPrep I honestly didn’t even try to solve them. I had like 3 minutes left and 4 questions still blank so I just guessed on them
Fair enough. I will be making a "save time on the math section" video coming up here.
I thought I wasn’t going to get my dream score of 1400 but after trying these questions to then unpausing the vid to see u do the same as I did gives me hope for tomorrow
You got this! Just remember that you’ve done the work and you know the strategies. You’re allowed to be confident.
Thanks for the in depth analysis into each question. Just a small suggestion, it would helpful if we could see the entire question (rather than seeing portions of the questions) at once so we can try to answer before you give your explanation.
Great suggestion! I totally agree, and I will make sure the entire question is visible in future videos.
Hey man, first of all thanks for the video . i just had one question- Why cant we use the D option in the 22nd question in the standard english conventions part
It is missing the comma. Two independent clauses separated by a coordinating conjunctions require a comma as well.
I took the sat twice and my third time is this Saturday, in both trials my score was 640 in the math section and I am really worried about how it hasn't changed even though I practice on my weakness over and over. I even took the 5th practice test and got a 630! I know it's too late but any tips to save me?
If you feel you've overcome your weaknesses already, I would focus on looking out for hasty mistakes and making sure not to fall for any tricks (see this video for some examples: czcams.com/video/c-HudwPgjYo/video.htmlsi=AZEIiacUchm-qotM). Also, if you aren't already, use the heck out of Desmos-it's such a huge time saver. You'll see that on a few problems in this video I imagine.
Good luck!
@@RevolutionPrep Thank you so much!!
are these from practise test 5 or 6 from bluebook?
They are actually from both.
wish i found this before i took the may DSAT test... wouldve helped alot for some CERTAIN english questions. but i still got a 1470 on the test, which i guess isnt bad...
That's a very competitive score, so I hope you're proud!
@@RevolutionPrep thanks. ill be sure to watch lots of your SAT prep videos to study for the June SAT
at 44:16 isn't in other words used when giving an example ???
Not quite. When we use "in other words," we're just rephrasing what we already said to clarify it. For instance, "I hold a deep affection for the essence of roasted beans. In other words, I love coffee."
But an example takes a general idea and gives a specific instance of what it looks like: "I love coffee. In fact, I drink 10 cups of coffee every day."
See how the act of drinking is an example of what loving coffee looks like? Hope that helps to clarify things.
@@RevolutionPrep i undrestand thank you
Hi! I don’t understand where you got x^2 = 1089 from… I’m over here thinking x is 1089 since it’s in the place of x at 1089 square root of 3
Could you explain? Thanks!
the area of a rectangle is length * width , so x *x equals x^2 which equals the area 1089
@@formulara3835 Yep! @chipmunk8856 does that make sense?
Tomorow is my DSAT exam, and I'm quite nervous about reading and writing section, (in math I always get between 780-800) but can't even cross 550 in R&W section. When I'm just solving question for R&W section - like solving question in your video - my accuracy is around 70-80%, but in Full length Test it drops down to
Can u give some tips to improve score?
Sorry for the late reply. Hope things went well.
I would recommend pacing yourself by answering easy questions first. Also, practice under test conditions (like a time or even full practice exam) at least once a week if you have time.
@@RevolutionPrep it went pretty great, my math section expected marks are 780(minimum)
But I’m not sure about english. I hope it will be above 500.
I’ll share my score when it comes because you actually helped me with many grammar topics
And about time, i was able to complete whole paper in 25 mins max leaving 5-7 min for cross checking and solving left problems.
I'm glad to hear it! That's a seriously competitive math score. Keep Rev Prep in the loop!
Hey, long time subscriber here, can you please give free pdf tests as i desperately need it and im not able to find them on your website!!!

Ngl you look like heimler 😊
I am honored-love that guy. 🤓
last question answer is -34 not -28
Thanks for your comment. I’ve rechecked the calculations and also confirmed with the College Board answer key that the correct answer is indeed -28.
could you distinguish these words "nevertheless", "however", and "in contrast". thanks a lot
"Nevertheless" and "however" are interchangeable as far as you need to be concerned on the SAT. They both suggest that what is about to be written goes against expectations. Here's an example: "I am highly allergic to cats. However, I own three of them." OR "I am highly allergic to cats. Nevertheless, I own three of them. "
"In contrast" suggests that what is about to be written is in some way the opposite of what came before: "My cat spends hours planning world domination. In contrast, my dog can't even find his own tail."
I hope that helps to clarify things.
Anyone august?
It's good you're prepping early!
Over an hour is long study?💀 I study for 5 hours consecutively as a Math Olympiad competitor I’m brazil
In the context of a CZcams video, it's relatively long. You want a 5-hour video? We'll see what we can do 🤓.

how can I not run of time in English :(
I recommend skipping all the "reading" questions that ask about things like function, purpose, and main idea. Those tend to eat up a lot of time. Just remember to mark them for review and come back after finishing the questions that go more quickly. You can also get away with only reading one sentence for sentence boundaries, and you can skip the notes for rhetorical synthesis.
