4:10 I did regression again 😭 plotted the two points then typed ax1+ky1~6 and it worked
i just got out of the june exam and a inscribes square in a circle question came in module 2 it was x^2-y^2-6x-4y-51 and asked from perimeter but i didn't have time 😢
Sorry to hear you ran out of time! If you're planning to take the next exam, you should check out our "how to save time" videos.
this not heimlers history
🤓
I wonder if they’ll keep desmos in the future considering how stupidly advantageous it is. Turns questions that are supposed to take 2 minutes into ones that take 10 seconds
I wonder that as well. We will see how the year goes.
thanks i went from a 400 to a 1200
That is AMAING. Well done!
this was so helpful oml
I am so happy to hear it.
SAT heimler
🤓
Thanks a lot bro
Happy to help
I thought you could also use a colon to separate an independent and dependant clause so why is the answer C for number 15 , Can anyone please explain
goat
🤓
3:44 how do you solve this question
Calculate the probability of not having a summer job for each age group by dividing the target group by the entire group (69/89 for ages 14-15 for example). Then divide again to find the ratio of these probabilities to determine how many times more likely it is for the 14-15 age group to not have a summer job compared to the 16-17 age group. Doe that make sense? Let me know what you get.
this is bs. desmos is a trick to waste your time. for example, for the first question do (y1-y2)/(x1-x2) formula and here is your answer -92/3. in desmos you spend minimum 1 minute otherwise if u just think u spend 15 seconds...
Sounds like you have well-developed skills. Desmos can be extremely helpful for many students, but it’s great that you have a quick method that works for you!
Tomorow is my DSAT exam, and I'm quite nervous about reading and writing section, (in math I always get between 780-800) but can't even cross 550 in R&W section. When I'm just solving question for R&W section - like solving question in your video - my accuracy is around 70-80%, but in Full length Test it drops down to Can u give some tips to improve score?
Sorry for the late reply. Hope things went well. I would recommend pacing yourself by answering easy questions first. Also, practice under test conditions (like a time or even full practice exam) at least once a week if you have time.
@@RevolutionPrep it went pretty great, my math section expected marks are 780(minimum) But I’m not sure about english. I hope it will be above 500. I’ll share my score when it comes because you actually helped me with many grammar topics And about time, i was able to complete whole paper in 25 mins max leaving 5-7 min for cross checking and solving left problems.
I'm glad to hear it! That's a seriously competitive math score. Keep Rev Prep in the loop!
If it sounds right, it is right
Sounds like you have a well-trained "grammar ear"
Thanks G
No problem
20:00, you can solve it in a few seconds if you use formula related to such kind of triangles, the formula in this situation would be 8 times DC equals to 6^2, which means that DC is 36/8
Right you are! I will make sure to mention that route on the next one.
@@RevolutionPrep Thanks 😀
it was really helpful, im very good at math but not at english so i needed this... thankyou so much!!!
Glad to hear that!
Hey man, first of all thanks for the video . i just had one question- Why cant we use the D option in the 22nd question in the standard english conventions part
It is missing the comma. Two independent clauses separated by a coordinating conjunctions require a comma as well.
2:01 can I copy numbers on bluebook as you did on desmos? I tried but I couldnt, if its possible can you explain me hhow please?
no its not possible
Sorry for the oversight-since this worked on the correct calculator from Desmos.com, I assumed it worked on Bluebook as well, but it looks like pasting is not an option after all.
At 26:50 why does D) not work? Isnt he talking abt "fear." So he deeply understands the reader, worried that the reader is walking the walks of dreams. This question is just so hard.
I'm pretty sure D doesn't work because of how the quote starts "whoever you are". That makes it seem that Whitman doesn't understand the reader, which isn't what the question is looking for. I hope that helps.
"Understanding" the reader comes down to knowing about us-not necessarily worrying about us. It IS a hard question for sure. I think all the poetry is a challenge.
Good observation!
Do you have a course?
This really helped me as international student thank you!! My exam on 1st June wish me luck 🥲
Sorry for the late response-hope it went well for you!
This video has got some unique tricks that I haven’t seen before. Very informative 👏👏👏. Thank you. Helps a lot! Btw, is there any chance that I could find the slope of an equation on Desmos without doing it manually by converting the equation to standard form?
Thanks! There's nothing faster that I have found available on Desmos. If it's not in standard form, I recommend just grabbing two points off the graph and doing good ol y2-y1/x2-x1.
@@RevolutionPrep thank you
I opened this video out of desperation, thinking it wouldn't be of any use, but I actually learned something. Thank you.
I am so glad to hear that. I am assuming you took the exam on Saturday? Hope it went well for you.
@@RevolutionPrep almost all of the techniques you mentioned helped me during the test seriously. English is not my main language and I've only had 1 week to prepare for the test so you helped me al lot, also that perpendicular line question was on the test i also learned from you. I really appreciate ❤
Thank you for this
No problem 😊
helped!
Glad to hear it!
American examinations are a joke
Right???? The first question was the most brainless thing I’ve ever seen. I got 1490 on my SAT on my first try lol I’m aiming for 1550. As a Brazilian student, this was the easiest test I’ve ever seen
their verbal section is pretty hard It's a pity that there is no google translator as they gave us desmos on the math section 😂 desmos would have a girlfriend
@@robertharris1277 nah bruh it’s so basic😭
@@robertharris1277 only thing that’s slightly hard is knowing where to put semicolons lol
@filipeoliveira7001 are you joking? Grammar is the easiest part of verbal
great video!!! lt helps a lot.
Glad it helped!
hello , is there a catalog where i can find these questions from educator test book because normally i should pick each questions and it is frustrating. It would be so helpful if there is a catalog where questions are grouped by topic and diffuculty
satsuitequestionbank.collegeboard.org/
Hi, thank you for this beneficial video! Can I ask why you flipped the number while you were multiplying? At 21:37? Thank you.
Sure-so 4/3 was the ratio to go from small to big, but 3/4 was to go from big to small. Since our unknown was a small triangle side, we went with 3/4 to scale down.
amazing video, totally helped me understand she perpendicular lines.. hope I can find a video of you teaching all the “basics” I struggle with..
A "basics" video is a great idea. Anything in particular you're having trouble with?
@@RevolutionPrep I'm having trouble with craft and structure questions on the SAT, a video with that in it would be great, along with questions about systems of equations
The "Long Study" video has a whole section on craft and structure that you might find useful.
can u make video about hardest questions of sat math please
Definitely-we actually have one planned for late next month.
please make more of these!
We will certainly do our best! Are you taking any additional exams after the one coming up in June?
could you do more on Conventions of standard English that would be really helpful for the June sat
We won't be getting another English-focused video out until after the June SAT, but I do hope that long study video was helpful!
wish i found this before i took the may DSAT test... wouldve helped alot for some CERTAIN english questions. but i still got a 1470 on the test, which i guess isnt bad...
That's a very competitive score, so I hope you're proud!
@@RevolutionPrep thanks. ill be sure to watch lots of your SAT prep videos to study for the June SAT
Could you hide the answers for the questions located on the bottom left? Before I am even able to solve the question on my own, the answer pops out at me. Thanks!
I will certainly keep them hidden for future videos; thanks for pointing that out.
hey could you do more questions on standard of English conventions please!
Certainly-I could put together a dedicated video for that type of question leading up to the August exam. In the meantime, the "Long Study" video has a section on those if you haven't checked it out yet.
Great video! Your craft and structure video last time helped me so much it ended up being my highest skill according to my score report! I was wondering if you could make some videos over expression of ideas. Thanks!
Glad it helped! I'll make note for future videos. Did you already work through those ones on the other video" czcams.com/video/eUqYUJihrnE/video.html
Thanks!!
You bet!
Great video!! Can you please post more videos for prepping us for the advanced algebra type questions? I get tripped up with the nonlinear functions and things like that.
We've got a Desmos video coming out next week that will cover some of that stuff; I'll definitely make note for future videos as well.
Anyone august?
It's good you're prepping early!
Great!!
Thanks!
I'm 100% confident I didn't get any english questions wrong first module and maybe 1 or 2 in the second one. Math COOKED me, not module 1 though, that one was like 80% desmos, but module 2 was so hard and so much constant questions.
Nice work in English! Were you able to use the Desmos slider for those constant questions?
@@RevolutionPrep I honestly didn’t even try to solve them. I had like 3 minutes left and 4 questions still blank so I just guessed on them
Fair enough. I will be making a "save time on the math section" video coming up here.
i have taken the may 4th Digital SAT and i have to admit that i have faced with these questions in first module not second, so maybe these questions could help you to reach 650 or 600 but not 700 I assume?
From what I know, it gives you an easier second module if you answered well enough.
@@airlot1469 i mean the second module was much harder than expected
These types of tricks can show up up in either module. The specific ones I chose happen to exemplify the tricks well. Avoiding hasty mistakes can certainly help you get up to 700-as long as you also know the material.
last question answer is -34 not -28
Thanks for your comment. I’ve rechecked the calculations and also confirmed with the College Board answer key that the correct answer is indeed -28.
I thought I wasn’t going to get my dream score of 1400 but after trying these questions to then unpausing the vid to see u do the same as I did gives me hope for tomorrow
You got this! Just remember that you’ve done the work and you know the strategies. You’re allowed to be confident.
After 2 hours😭 i can ace math I suck at english even in practices test the one where I have more answers incorrect is my highest score howwwwww
than you for everything, tmrw is my test and im so nervous, wish me luck
I wish you luck. Make sure to pack everything tonight-one less thing to think about tomorrow. You got this!
@@RevolutionPrep I just came back from the test, it was a bit hard, but I managed to answer all of the questions
Nice!
actually for the last question the answer is guessable because of the given options: option a and b are eliminated cause theyre less than 100% it cant be 2324 cause if u subtract c from b + c the percent will be more than 2x of 2241 so thats gotta be 4941 (ik its complicated and the options may not allow u to use this method especially if theyre so clost to each other but if it helps it helps)
Very cool insight! I’m sure many students will benefit from this strategy when it fits. I’ll pin your comment to make sure it gets noticed. Here’s hoping this video reaches tons of viewers so more students can take advantage of your tip!
are these from practise test 5 or 6 from bluebook?
They are actually from both.
