I am moving into my new (and first) ever property. I bought a remote piece of land in central Portugal and am planning to turn it into a self reliant off grid homestead. This is the first video of the series!

As for the language… over the past years I’ve come to realize that people who are not emotionally attached to a language (you are Portuguese I guess) tend to swear easily as it means nothing to them.
Could be your case …
I would definitely advise you to look into that and try to be aware that your subscribers might feel offended by that.

Thank you for this, like you said, english is not my first language, so I guess that since my vocabulary might not be as complex as it could, I end up rellying on swear words as part of it! 😂
It never seemed to bother me, so I never saw a problem with that, but knowing that it might put people off, I'll try to be more mindful!

cursing and usinf fowl language is not cute, nor acceptable, nor a good ethiquete no matter where u are... It is very disrespectul and shows that the person does not have any clue in how to respect others in any way shape or form...If this guy wants to open his toilet mouth around friends and families and they endure that kind of rethoric then do it...but do not disrespect your viewers...Many of us want the experience of seen it you grow but we do not deserve to be bombarded by pure sh...coming out of this guy mouth!!!

How big in acres?
It's about 2400 square meters, so that's about half an acre!
@Goncalo Valle That is what I calculated. Seems a small piece of land actually. In feet about 100 x 200.
Is there any adjacent piece of land available?
@@ernie7065 The land is surrounded by a bigger plot of land that also seems abandoned. Maybe some day I'll have the oportunity of joining with that! But for now, I'm happy with this size. I saw bigger properties, but having more land also means having to spend a lot more time maintaining it, so I didnt want to overwelm myself with that too much!
