I’m renovating an old farmhouse in Scotland with my mum. Sometimes I’m so overwhelmed with so much work to do that I end up doing nothing at and and then feel guilty about it at the end of the day 😅 Alex x

I really relate to what you said about needing validation from others . I have this deep feeling that I have to share it with someone what I am doing , how crazy my ideas are and my actions, but i dont believe that is a constructive thought,also i dont know how to deal with it.
It’s nice you’re sharing this stuff and also just gives you clarity on another goal. Van life - Tick Farm build - tick….someone to share it with comin up next. I’ve no doubt that person will show up when the time is right. Just stay open to it and create opportunities for down time and meeting people x

I love your honesty... and I can relate with you... i travel alone a lot and ones i decided not to climb a beautiful mountain because I wanted to share the experience with someone... and i believe longing for connection is a healthy human emotion... the right person will come ..💪
One of my favourite movies is Into the Wild and hes last sentence he writes into a book " Happiness only real when shared " I think your channel is attractive because you are sharing your emotions.. not just the progress you are making ... "your fuckups " and your happiness ... is turning to be real because it's shared... there is a human behind the camera who is not hiding his emotions 🤍 it's the journey not the destination 🤍

It is inevitable to be overwhelmed. Write a list and then prioritize what is needed first. Remember to do it in order based on time of year so you can work inside during winter. Get the essentials first so you can at least sustain yourself with the basics. You got this!! 🙂
Thank you, that’s what I’ve been trying to do now! I think the main drawback for me is that since I have never done anything like this before, I’m not sure what order to do things at! It’s uncomfortable, but really exciting to be learning new things like this 😉
That overwhelm might be an “itch” to start writing your visions and planning some sort of sequence even as it changes.... the point is starting the process brings back a focus that you then can keep making decisions.
Boars looking for grubs.... time to think or plan on some fencing, water and moving water for drip systems for eventual gardens.... looks like a good project to start working with.
That's what life teaches you R for female N for male. Don't risk doing wrong from the start their becomes your habit. Keep doing the best you can in ti.e a short period of time you'll been experienced. 👀👀📣
Totally understand all of the things you are saying and the emotions that are a product of it all. Been there since I'm years ahead of you. But I think this experience will add more to your life than you will know. Until you do.

@@goncalovalle exactly! And you mentioned in one vlog that your van life was great and lacking someone to share in that. Maybe you feel that way about the farm? But just know that having someone to share in those experiences with you could be more fulfillment or not. That's not necessarily the outcome! Looking forward to more of your vlogs.
Emptiness is what you are essentially. It can’t be filled because it’s already full with everything as everything, including „you“. Feeling alone is most likely the door to understanding what Life really is.
That is very true. I think it's important to go through different seasons of life and embrace them as they come. I suppose this one is a season of aloneness, which opens space for other feelings / experiences to come through

The „me“ is illusory, that’s why it can’t ever be satisfied. It’s like a hungry ghost, completely without substance. And the worst part about it, this can’t be understood. 😉

Being alone is a blessing , most of the depressions, let downs, arguments, disappointments are because of other people if we were able to enjoy our own company , we'd be much happier. I agree with that quote! You need to be comfortable with being by yourself, but personally I find that being part of a community or some sort is something important

That's exactly right! I think I'm lacking a structured plan of what to do first. It's tricky to plan for things when I'm not sure what to expect!

Fencing is definitely a great idea. Thankfully they stopped bothering me since I put some up :)
