That thing where my AMAZING rejuvenation of spirit is amazing ONLY when I use my faithful accommodations such as GPS. You're so right. Now, letting go with others when they choose to drive their way is okay too. I can do it bc I realize I'm not driving and that means more brain power for what concerns me

I used to work as a district executive for the scouts , I actually took my gps and would put a place to go into, and it would tell me how long till I got there and I would place it on my desk and it acted as a map based count down

I don't use GPS to get work as it's incredibly easy to get their, but of course use it when traveling on vacation or such.
Trying to own it but is incredibly difficult at times.
Thanks as always for these videos!

The worst thing is when you realize that you have just missed the turn and you have to resist the urge to push the breaks. Its dangerous for the ones driving behind you. It happens so fast that I don't have the time ti inhibit my action, but after practice I'm doing considerably better. And the fury that boils inside you when you realize that you've just missed THE SAME TURN again...

Had that experience two weeks ago. I was going to indianapolis to watch the men's ncaa swimming championship. i was pulling a travel tralier and saw a turn i needed to make last minute. Good thing in a split second i decided not to try and make the turn... it would have been a disaster!

Switching between writing and editing is challenging; using text-to-speech as a tool for editing helps me depersonalise what I’ve written - the latter is often the larger challenge.

A GPS is great, but also be aware they can take you miles out of the way. This has happened to my husband and i when traveling. Otherwise its a great idea particularly if we get lost. Happens to me sometimes.

I've had a similiar GPS experience. Was trying to find a soccer field in little rock... found myself miles away in a bad neighborhood... ugh. Thanks for posting.

I really like your take on accommodations! I was considering what kinds of accommodations I could look into during my postgrad education to make life a little easier there. Do you have any ideas? It's basically a classroom setting, and I get incredibly antsy on those days.
